Avis Moore is happily married with two daughters and two grand-children. She has been a resident of Kansas for the past thirty-four years. During her lifetime, she has attained an Associated Degree in Arts, Bachelor?s Degree in Public Affairs and Public Relations, and a Master?s Degree in Business as a Consultant. During her early years she tutored elementary students in various subjects from reading to math. She is an avid reader of all types of books; however, her joy comes from writing early learning children books. She believes that a child should be taught to read at a very early age prior to kindergarten. Presently, Avis in the process of establishing a Not-For-Profi t organization. The organization will focus primarily on the social, economic, and educational need of minority children within the community and from dysfunctional homes.
