Conclusion
INTRODUCTION
The beginning of humanity was the start of a major conflict between good and evil. Several battles have been fought from the history of humanity up until this present time. Most of the battles are struggles for the control of resources. The resources could be human or material. Everyone is involved in this conflict or struggle to maintain or gain control of some sort of resources. You and I have some kind of fortress that we must defend from intruders.
A fortress is defined as ‘a strong well-protected building used for defending a place’.¹ It also means ‘a large, strong building or group of buildings that can be defended from attack’.² Better still, Dictionary.com has two definitions that I would like to highlight: ‘a large fortified place, a fort or group of forts, often including a town; citadel’ and ‘any place of exceptional security; stronghold’.³
Therefore, putting all together, I would define fortress as a place that warehouses treasures or vital information that the custodian(s) must protect from enemy invasion, or a structure put up to defend such a place. There is a slight difference between stronghold and fortress, in that ‘stronghold is a fortress while fortress is a fortified place; a large and permanent fortification, sometimes including a town; a fort; a castle; a stronghold; a place of defence or security.’⁴
Adam failed in defending his fort; hence, he lost it to the archenemy. Abraham came on the scene, and he was promised a restoration of that estate that Adam lost. This ignited a critical strategic monitoring and oppression from the opposing forces, resulting in over four centuries of slavery of his descendants.
First General Assembly of the Underworld on Global Economy
‘I have just heard the Master promised a childless man that he would make him the heir of the world,’ said the chairperson as he opened the scroll where the agenda for this all-important conference was written.
‘As you know,’ continued the moderator, ‘I am the heir of the world. I attained this position when I successfully enticed the mother of all humans to do my bidding.’ He laughed hysterically. ‘Not just that, she got the first image of the Invisible One to compromise and so’, he paused for a moment, ‘the estate of the first plane was handed over to me with all the wealth and glamour.
‘Yes, they are mine now. Legally, I own everything. I got it all by my wisdom, and no one,’ this time, his voice was loud, and all present seemed to quake as he roared in the mountain of the gatherings of the dark princes, ‘I mean no one will take it from me.’
A great silence set in as all looked with bewilderment. The chief prince of the underdogs was now on his feet, looking furious and somewhat agitated. As the atmosphere relaxed, the emperor of darkness took his place on the seat, and going through the agenda once again, he put forward the question ‘Now, princes of darkness, I ask you, ‘What is the implication of the Creator’s promise to Abram of the land of Ur?’⁵
Abraham and His Family
After God called and gave his promise to Abraham, the whole of the kingdom of darkness was focused on that one man, and he was monitored by all the top-ranking princes of hell, headed by Lucifer himself. That one family was a big threat to the dark angels. They made Abraham deviate in fathering Ishmael. They made Esau not to love the ways of God. They made Jacob be a deceiver. They eventually enslaved the children of Israel in Egypt.
Slavery in Egypt
They were a people laden with much burden by their taskmasters. Every waking day was labour, and every sleeping night was terror. They lived in the wealthiest country in their time but led the most impoverished lives ever known to men in their day.
However, within the past months, they had seen things that they could not even imagine. A self-banished man reappeared and used a simple rod to perform very difficult-to-understand wonders. And in that last night of slavery, as they ate their meat in haste as commanded by their new leader and father of hope, they wondered how the matter would end.
The next morning, they sceptically and reluctantly approached their former masters and mistresses, as instructed by their now-well-acclaimed deliverer, to ask for money. To their utter amazement, they were given gold, silver, all manner of jewellery, and material possessions, in abundance. Virtually there was a complete plundering of the natives, for fear of their lives, as every household was mourning the death of a firstborn.
But not so for the foreigners whose ancestors and they had served and helped to build the most glamorous kingdom for the pharaohs over the past four centuries, for nothing but slavish bondage.
Thus, the money in the hands of the
