Trevis and Pamela Snowden are founders of Trevis & Pamela Ministries and have been serving in ministry for over 11 years. They both attended Regent University in ministry programs to obtain both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. They have been married for 21 years now, and have 4 children (Trevis Jr, Tre’shyala, Elijah, Promise). Baby Pamela was their 5th child, but she passed away in August of 2008. They have marriage experience, parenting experience, ministry experience, college experience, etc. and know personally that it takes an empowered way of thinking to get to the places that God wants you in life. In this book, they share from those aforementioned experiences to encourage their readers to think empowered.

dedicate this devotional to all those who feel that they can not think empowered about where they are in life. The way that you think is of great importance and impacts the way in which you will live your life. Thinking that is not empowered settles for any and everything not understanding that God has so much in store if only your thinking is coursed right. Empowered thinking will set you on a course with God to walk into everything that He has for you. We pray that you will find this book empowering insomuch that embracing it leads you to an empowered way of thinking about your life moving forward!
INTRODUCTION
We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
-2 Corinthians 10:5
This text of Scripture is telling us that we have to destroy the things that are opposed to the knowledge of God. This means that anything that is not in alignment with what God has said about us needs to be destroyed—it has no place in our minds. The text says further that we are to take thoughts captive, forcing those non-Godlike thoughts to be subject to what Jesus has to say on the matter. Our thoughts should be subject to Christ, which means that the thoughts we are having ought to be thoughts of empowerment because this is what Jesus died for. He wanted to rid us of the guilty thinking, therefore, leading us to a place where we think from a place of confidence and power. For example, in John 6:3-14 which recounts the miracle feeding of 5,000 plus individuals; Jesus challenges the thinking of his disciples. All of these people had gathered together because Jesus has been teaching and doing extraordinary things among them, and because of His compassion He wanted to feed them. He asked Philipp, one of the twelve, how they could all be feed, why, why. We have to think about this! Why does Jesus ask one of His disciples, essentially, what it would take to feed all these people? Jesus is challenging Phillip to think from a place of empowerment that is
