Rev and Mrs T. A. Ralekholela of Gospel Fire Ministry in Vereeniging, south of Johannesburg, for leading me to Christ. My encounter with Christ happened in a very strange way in 2001, at the private hospital in Mafikeng, North-west Province.

He prophetically gave a word to brethren during the crusade in Mafikeng Ratshidi Community Hall 2001 to intervene and engage in a Spiritual warfare prayer, as the LORD revealed to him a young woman was fighting for her life at the hospital, as the devil wanted to snatch her life prematurely. This was during his two-week crusade in Mafkikeng 2001. I thank God for availing him and obeying Him to use him and prayed. He also laid a strong foundation for my ministry during mentorship from 2006–9. To Mama and the family; they supported me during my stay at their home. God bless you, your family, and the Church.

Pastor and Mrs M.V. Jones of Trinity Community Church, in Vereeniging, Gauteng Province, I am grateful to be under their leadership as my senior pastors. This is where I grew further Spiritually. My life became a journey since childhood to this day. It has been a journey charectorized with struggles, hardships, humiliation and persecutions. Right from the womb of my mother, I came face to face with struggle and sickness. I have sweat for every little thing I have since my birth. This has been a very traumatic experience. I would not be honest if I don’t admit there were times the devil try to tempt me to commit suicide due to my conditions. Praise God by His grace, I manage to resist the temptation whenever this is whispered to my ears. This has been a very traumatic life I have experienced throughout my life, yet none of those who are close to my life are aware of the pain I carried daily. Had it not been the love of God on my side, I could have been completely destroyed.

If the LORD had not been on our side when people attack us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against, the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away. Praise be to the LORD who has not let us be torn by their teeth.

Psalm 124: 2-6

This book, I believe, will impact the Spiritual lives of many individuals, as I was led by the Holy Spirit to write this. The content is inspired by the Holy Spirit addressing issues facing individuals, leadership, and the Church in general. Members of our families and other members of the general community who have no encounter with the LORD, those who never received Jesus Christ as their Redeemer and personal Saviour, have an opportunity to commit their lives to Christ through this medium. The LORD loves each and every one of us; thus, He comes through these books as a channel of communication and fellowship with Him to the comfort of our homes as part of reaching out to our hearts. Take this opportunity to reach out to His, as Peter did, when he realised he was sinking into the water, because his eyes were no longer focused on Christ. He came to his senses, stretched his hand out, and shouted to Christ for help. He couldn’t help himself. Jesus Christ was the only one who could intervene and save him. May these books, as a channel that God is using to touch your life, minister to your heart, make you realise you cannot help yourself any more. You need to come to your senses, like Peter did, realise that you are indeed sinking; the only way out to be saved is stretching out your hand and shouting for help to Jesus to get His attention. I can assure you, He has been waiting for a day like this, to reach out and embrace you.

In His arms, you will surely find safety, redemption, restoration, peace, joy in the midst of all that you are going through. Please do this now and don’t postpone it any more. You need Jesus in your life, family, marriage, work, business, and with your children. Pray the prayer at the bottom of chapter 1 for your reconciliation with the LORD and to start a personal relationship with Christ to order all your steps throughout from now and for evermore. This is your book if you have back-slided. If you are a child of God, read this book; you will be encouraged. You will have hope to live and wait upon the LORD. God will restore your life just as He has promised us. If you know somebody who you think needs this kind of book, please get them copies and send it to them as a present for God to touch their lives. Help me to minister to other people through this book. I assure you their lives will change for the better, by the grace of God. Let’s do something to impact other people’s lives. This is called ‘love’, and this is what Jesus Christ expects from every one of us, reaching out in whatever way.

This book is dedicated to the men and women of God who responded to His ‘call’ for the service of the Kingdom, those called of God, men and women sacrificed lives to serve God under difficult conditions, those who are discouraged and neglected. They quit their former lives, left corporate jobs, to yield and fulfil the ‘high calling’. Like Apostle Paul’s warning, persecutions and sufferings are ahead of some of us, but you shall overcome. Keep walking; be courageous and faithful to the end.

May your journey be filled with joy, peace, and love in the midst of all kinds of trials and tribulations. I want to salute also those brave men, women, and young people who dedicated their lives to God doing missionary work. I believe everyone wants to be comfortable, be with their beloved families to care for them, but these believers chose to serve by devoting their lives to Christ in their respective calling, some away from their families, without homes and a proper standard of living. One thing I can assure you: God who provides sees them through and provides for them through other believers who God has prepared ahead to receive and love them like their own brothers and sisters. I personally can be a witness to that. These are the people I regard as soldiers, commanders, and generals of the Most High God. They gave up everything in life to put God first. It takes a determined person, who has clearly heard the voice of God like Abraham, to leave the place where he was born, leave families, to go to a place that you have never been before to serve the LORD under painful conditions. If God said, ‘Go’, you just leave. It is not easy, but some of the believers who heard the voice commanding them yielded to the word. I believe it will only take ‘brave’ believers with guards to take such a ‘giant step’.

I and my prayer group are standing on a ‘gap’, praying for you and families. May the LORD give you courage as He protects you to be His tool for His service.

A number of what we call today ‘attacks’ happened to my life. When I started writing this book some six years back, I approached my late mother, Florence Sindani, asking her about the challenges she had when she was pregnant with me. Most Africans will understand it would never be easy to get answers from our parents for such questions.

This to me was very important, because I wanted to track down and discover who I was. I wanted to get an understanding of why my life seemed to be different. Why was I going through experiences so that nobody would even be aware of what I was going through emotionally and even physically? Of course, she reacted with shock to this. But after long persistence, she was only prepared to reveal this: ‘When I was heavily pregnant with you, seven months, I was standing next to the kitchen door in the midday. All of a sudden, I got dizzy and fell. Immediately, I started bleeding, the baby threatening to come out. But thanks to God, your father was around, and he took me in his Opel car to Dr Globler in Swartruggens.’ This was how the pregnancy was prevented from becoming a miscarriage. She was not prepared to reveal other challenges. Praise God, I was happy to discover that the ‘war’ for my life began right when I was still in the womb of my mother. Spiritually, I noticed that there should be something great in me I was not aware of, that Satan was aware of and was trying to put his finger on it to destroy it before my eyes were opened to discover what that was.

During school days, there were struggles that also affected my performance, and I did not enjoy my school days based on this. At primary school, it was a heart disease that was said to have been inherited from my late mother. My hands and feet were always burning and swollen. There was a German doctor at the local clinic my father used to take me; there was no solution. I was not supposed to drink coffee.

During high school, one day it was cloudy and a group of students were going back home from Morare High School. Suddenly, there was a strong sound of thunder and lightning struck, and we all fell under that force that pushed us to the ground. Although we were taken to the local clinic, I was the most affected one, feeling some bitter ‘smoke’ in my throat, coughing continuously, and both the tips of my hands and feet had blisters and were burnt. I was very traumatised. When the lightning struck, I saw in the sky ‘something’ that I was under the impression everybody from the group saw. It was a huge image. I was surprised to find that I was the only one who saw that. When the school teachers asked us what happened, knowing the schoolchildren, they all started making fun of me. None of them witnessed what I literally saw that day.

During my marriage as a young girl, things fell apart. I became sick, consistently sick and depressed. Going in and out of the hospital, doctors couldn’t diagnose anything, yet I was very sick. There was a time they felt I was insane, because I continued literally to see some ‘staff’ threatening to take my life in the hospital while I was admitted. When I screamed for the sister in charge, they found nothing. Trying to explain to them what I saw, they then declared me a psychiatric patient. My doctor came the following day to tell me he was not going to see
