The Obedience Call
()
About this ebook
In these end days God is calling Christians all around the world to train themselves into obedience, because obedience is not just important, it is absolutely necessary. Christians must complete the state of their sanctification in order to be ready for the Rapture.
This book is a collection of five sermons on obedience. In the first four chapters you will learn about how to be a solider for Christ, the importance of walking in humility, meekness and patience, how to position yourself for God’s favor, and how you can become a vessel of prudence for God to dwell in. In the final chapter you will learn about how it is necessary for you to fulfill your destiny, how we must live worthily by walking in obedience, how we must fight the good fight of faith, the true meaning of God’s grace, an explanation of Philippians 1:6, and how we must sow in the Spirit to reap eternal life.

INTRODUCTION
This book is the fulfillment of a dream I had back in the year 2009. I had a very vivid dream that I would one day write a book entitled: The Obedience Call. I believe that this dream was from Jesus Christ.
In these end days, God is calling Christians all around the world to train themselves into obedience, because obedience is not just important, it is absolutely necessary. Christians must complete the state of their sanctification in order to be ready for the Rapture. We must be living holy lives and walking in the perfect will of God, because God is returning to gather to Himself only those who are pure white: holy and obedient. For this to take place Christians must train themselves to obey God wholeheartedly. God will not Rapture half-hearted Christians, or people who have back-sliden from the faith. We must be 100% ready for the return of Christ—it is imminent!
In the first chapter of the book we take a look at the soldier, the athlete, and the farmer, found in 2 Timothy 2:3-6. All three of these occupations have a vast wealth of spiritual applications for the lives of Christians. The soldier is patiently enduring, constructive, and has unswerving obedience. The athlete is extremely disciplined and (should) compete fairly. The farmer is vigilant, expectant, patient and diligent.
In chapter two we look at how to live a life worthy of our divine calling by focusing on the three supreme attitudes of obedience: humility, meekness, and patience. All three of these attitudes are absolutely essential if we are to fulfill the perfect will of God for our lives and be ready for the Rapture.
In chapter three we look at how we can position ourselves for God’s favor, because His favor is also necessary to fulfill our destiny. We look at these important areas of obedience: mercy, kindness, truth, praise, and holiness of heart. In part two of this chapter we also take a look at how Job had favor with God during his terrible, four-fold calamity. We also take a look at the life of Joseph and how he was able to have favor (and how he won favor) with God and man during his time of great affliction.
In chapter four we look at the spirit of prudence. Prudence is the wisdom of obedience, the gold of conduct, and the mastery of one’s behavior. The word prudent
has a lot of biblical meaning, in fact, we unpack twelve facets of prudence. Prudence is a character quality we must all possess in order to fulfill our destiny in Christ. In the last section of this chapter we look at God’s dwelling place, which is us, His obedient servants.
Finally, in chapter five, we take a look at the true meaning of God’s grace, which is His might to obey, especially during trials and afflictions. God’s grace is not an excuse to get away with undealt with sins. God’s judgment is real. We also look at the absolute necessity of obedience if we are to be truly victorious.
Chapter five has six main sections. Sections one talks about how we must fulfill our destiny, it’s not
