About this ebook
I appreciate every animal companion; they all saved me. Many survivors of violence turn to animals, for after that sledgehammer of reality, that appreciative presence is remarkable.
You, reading these words, feeling the midnight fear, the fragrance of the flowers in the depth of my psyche, I dedicate it all to you.

A life on paper, unvarnished
circumstances that writing forces
one to revisit, a flurry of tears and
words splattered on the pages
This book is my song………………
This is a gathering of poetry, perception, personal philosophy, residual effects of childhood, dark experience, and the all of life lifting, comforting, and in spite of it all managing to survive and grow, honoring the names and quotes of those I hold in great regard.
I appreciate every animal companion, they all saved me, and many survivors of violence turn to animals, for after that sledge hammer of reality, that appreciative presence is remarkable.
You, reading these words, feeling the midnight fear, the fragrance of the flowers in the depth of my psyche, I dedicate it all to you……….
A survivor of violence carves her path,
Midst the dust and fury, encountering
disparity, the welcoming of relief..
Discovering the force of probability
along the road of life…the omnipotence
of light, love, hope, and belief

The%20Path.jpgThe Path
Beginning a journey one sets a path, there are textures, layers met with the obvious, there are mysteries that surprise and stop you to ponder, the dynamics of childhood define you, as the spirit unwinds you.
I step into the pitch of the darkness, the sun brightens the stage of life, moving my feet forward, the songbirds, and crickets, the languid rustling of leaves orchestrate the background music, my eyes hold my tears, my heart, sadness and laughter accompany me, with my past in my backpack I forge ahead into the evermore that lies ahead………..
Shoot for the moon if you miss, you’ll land among the stars
