Miracles, signs, wonders are still parts of the daily lives of these folks whose ages are enjoyed well into the eighties and one is ninety-two and another is ninety-five. All the stories shared within the pages of this unique little book are true and awesome. Surely mostly Christians, even many “regular” people, have had godly experiences that they explained away as being mere coincidences. But God is alive, and he takes delight in being among us and showing all of us his glory and mighty powers and healing and protection to those who believe. “What’s natural to you is supernatural to the world; and what’s supernatural to the world is natural to you.”

"Hi Jinni,

I have read the entire manuscript and found it uplifting and encouraging. Surely most Christians have had similar experiences with the Lord, but have possibly not recognized those as being actually from the Holy Spirit…showing how big our God is that He can be involved even in little things in our lives. To people like you and I, it is our lives, our additional daily bread from which we gain the confidence to reach out, go further, and be in a state of almost always listening. I remember a Christian friend once who spoke of when God said to Moses to ……go to the mountaintop and just ‘be there’.

God is always looking for someone who is listening for His voice. I believe that is why so many of us remain, or have for a very long time, been in a solitary place. We have been in training to speak only when He speaks and move only when He wants us to move. This will get easier as we enter Tabernacles and we will be known as He is known for all shall see Him as He is.

Like you, I have had a myriad of experiences in the Lord, especially over the last 49 of 50 years since receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in other tongues. Each experience has been indelibly etched in my memory for I have been forever touched by His grace.

There was a time a few years ago when I had grown tired of going to the Bible for answers. The Lord began to speak to me through license plates. I kept a journal of those answers and even told a small group of Christian friends. Soon, though, they got tired of hearing it and began to disbelieve. I realized this was something just for the Lord and me to rejoice in. I guess my sharing so boldly might have come across as boasting.

As of now, I will not be writing material from my life with the Lord for this book.

So, Jinni, I am happy for you that you have taken on this project and believe it will be successful. I have always loved and enjoyed your true stories of how God has intervened in your life.

PREFACE

GOD and ME

Oh My – the wonder of it all! ! !

My intentions were to start this collection of

God-given experiences back in time

to the fall/winter of 1967/68—

when I first heard about the

Holy Spirit’s revival.

But there’s another time in my memory that must be recognized – one from my early teens –

in the summertime when I was laying on my back on a beach and gazing up into the sky.

There all alone, while watching the cloud formations change, I was pondering about God, and if He truly existed like my Sunday school classes had claimed.

Somehow remembering that brief experience,

now at the age of 95,

seems significant as though this was truly the beginning of my awareness of,

and awe and acceptance of Him.

Through the passing of time I kept a record of blessed happenings in a notebook, and, though I would enjoy reading them on occasion, I wondered what I should do with them.

Recently, God spoke this to me:

It is now, Jinni.

After the passing of so many years, these God-given experiences are to be shared ‘now’.

May they bring encouragement to all who read them.

Isn’t it a small world? we say when we meet a next-door neighbor while we’re traveling. Coincidence? I think not! Everyone will have experiences

they may call ‘coincidences’ but, it’s all within God’s plan, and
