About this ebook

Characterology, the study of who we are, will help you evaluate interpersonal relationships and make sensible decisions to manage and improve them.

To make such strides, you must seek to understand character, which is a scalpel that cuts to the core of all animal interaction.

In this analysis, the author (who wrote this book to save his marriage) identifies two character types: Bush and Gentle. They react with other human components to determine how we interact.

The Gentle character seeks to glean value from the most negative of situations and feels bound to give an honest effort to improve the whole. In the industrial setting, the Gentle worker does the lion’s share of the work, while the Bush person gets the praise and promotions.

This isn't to say that one is good and the other bad, but they are two different things, each having different attributes. To get along, they must understand each other.

Take important steps to improving relationships by understanding yourself and others with the insights in this book.

    Introduction

This work is the result of observing human behavior in a closed boundary environment, as a safety professional in the Oilfields of the southern U.S. on oil rigs; as a law enforcement professional, in the open boundary environment of police patrol in the city of New Orleans, LA; and as a private person, in the semi-open boundary environments of home, school and public employment.

Human behavior has been studied, since the dawn of man. The purposes of these studies have been manifold. Like most things in contemporary reference frames that enable the control of the masses, its commercial and military applications were the primary considerations. However, there is some innocence left to these studies. This work is intended to be one of the innocent prospectives on human behavior. Since governing bodies provide most of the monies for research, it is apropos that the applications of such knowledge reinforce their positions of power. Out of this research, has come the ability to control an infinite number of personality permutations with a finite number of trigger mechanisms. A control language that starts obedience programs running, in large blocks of human society, is one of the most fruitful outcomes of these studies. If one properly applies control language to others, a myriad of human programs unlock. Governing, especially commercial, is the most important outcropping of behavior studies. However, this work does not concern itself with cause, as much as with the final outcomes and their effects in an environment. Therefore, let it be stated here that the high sciences of causality for predatory behavior and their conclusions, are of no consequence to this work. In addition, be assured that the classification of motivations for such behavior in no way assuages the painful impact on a victim. Predators may not wish to read this work.

The members of the Gentry have taken great care to do behavior studies, as a beneficial academic pursuit. However, their Overlord dominators understand the usefulness of these studies as potent control enablers. For, this knowledge is what allowed them to overthrow the gentry, the natural leaders of human society. The gentry, naturally, generate control language. The Overlord class beings, watch the responses of the listening people. Then, these responses are documented and compiled in human management manuals, and taught to other Overlords. This body of knowledge is a marriage of sociology and psychology, called social-psychology. It is not termed, as such, when taught. It is said to be MANAGEMENT SKILLS TRAINING. Overlords are big on management skills training. The abilities, brought by management training, have provided for the rape and the dominance of the planet Earth, by a few Overlord class people. The Gentry has made it easy, by vigorously pursuing these studies, as academic queries. However, no Gentleperson would be guilty of stereotyping people, for profit. It is gentle to believe that each person is an individual, and must be so treated. This view is truly nice, but not very practical.

If the Gentry had considered the implications of this knowledge, the Overlord class human would still be in the bush or at least under scrutiny and guidance, not dominating and raping the Earth and her population. They would be identified among the children on the playgrounds, and relegated to no-harm skills training. One can know them. They are the ones victimizing the physically or mentally disadvantaged children in play areas. They are the persons who steal lunches at a school when free lunch programs exist. They grow up to be teachers and principals who see this kind of behavior as being only human, and less than heinous. They protect their kind and understand their behavior as normal, with little or no regard for victims. If the Gentle sense of justice prevailed, these character types would be ferreted out from among the people and monitored. They would not be corrupt heads of state or greedy industrialist. They would be applied to situations that require their insatiable hunger and unbridled aggression. They are a resource that should be managed. They are too greedy and hungry to manage anything. Especially, they should not manage anything of limited quantity, or that has a natural regeneration cycle. They, as history has shown, will exhaust either type of resource. Most resources fall under one of these categories, or both. Overlord class human beings are not a bad group. They are who they are. In nature, the strong, gentle provider animals keep the hungry bush members of their packs under control. The gentle provider unleashes such creatures, on attacking enemies or general threats, because they can fight without principle or restraint. Once the enemy is vanquished, the gentle provider can amply reward the Bush creature for aiding in the defense of the group, with something other than knowledge or power. For, he is venomous with knowledge or power, and will become a dreaded Overlord. His first instinct is to seek dominance and feed, even to his own destruction. This must not be allowed. Look at current world Overlord damage. Human beings may be the only species that give such members of this group leadership autonomy (A study is necessary).

The purpose of this work, is not to challenge any current bodies of great knowledge on behavior. Advertisements and political campaigns have validated their worth, as control mechanisms. What is sought here is to slide that n-dimensional knowledge along an axis that is orthogonal to previous considerations. Hopefully, this study will awaken gentle members of all people, and cause them to seek each other. Gentle people build and preserve. Bush people covet with infinite, flaming desire. It is, when a society delivers itself into the control of the enlightened Bush people that decay begins. In New Babel, the Overlord (enlightened Bushman) rules. A revelation of his character type, and the others, may stave off the demise of New Babel, unless we forget this work. By the way, New Babel is a large highly developed society, where all languages are spoken, in the one language. The one language is economics. Research Babel and understand the term.

Character is the scalpel that cuts to the core of all animal interaction. It has two extremes, Bush and Gentle. They react with the other human components, and determine the effects of all beings on their social groups and themselves. Some are suited for the management of resources, for the whole. Some are to defend the whole. Some are to provide resources. The whole is to benefit from the controlled applications and permutations of the three. Any one, out of its place, threatens the whole. Character determines the suitability of a person or being for a niche, in the whole. It is the responsibility of the Gentle to manage placement equitably. When they fail to do so, Overlords step up and manage, with abuse and insatiable hunger. Vigilance and rigor must be exercised to preserve order, and allow for quality life. This work is purported to awaken the Gentle spirit to itself, and its rightful place. Shunning power and influence, is the instinctive nature of the Gentle. It is that trait that most suits one for both. It gives one restraint and sensitivity. Do not back away. There is a hungry, opportunist Overlord hiding in the wings to take over and feed. Try to prevent this, at each opportunity. Do not promote them to positions of autonomy. Do not support them in their non-productive abuse of subordinates. They take care of themselves and vampirishly consume everything and everyone else. This is not a good thing, when unharnessed.

Hopefully, at the completion of this work, one will be able to evaluate oneself and others, by character type. Armed with this knowledge, as the Overlords are already, Gentlepersons will start a gradual reorganization of society, and restore rectitude and balance. Expansion without infra-structural development is not growth. It is only swelling. Swelling will surely go down or destroy the host organism. The restoration of gentle leadership to mankind by halting Overlord control may be the only chance the planet and her children have for survival. This proposal of a new basis for examining society should stimulate some academic and philosophical investigation. The possibility that there may be some truth to some of this, as in almost all discourse, should merit investigations by some of the truly gifted and erudite, who read this work. If that occurs, the greater purpose of the author will be realized. The second intent of this work is to provide a basis for the re-establishment of the family unit. Enabling one to choose a mate, based on determining which type of person the prospect is, should be a wonderful advantage to a mate prospector. Using the definitions in this book should allow one to select a person based on the content of the character observed. To expedite ones pathway to happiness, first find the desired physical attributes then screen candidates among those for the proper character. Happiness can result for those who wish it and misery for those who wish it. Everyone desires one or the other, based on his own character.

This work is a difficult book to read, because one discovers oneself. Please either commit to read the entire work or none, to avoid misunderstanding it.

    Purpose

The purpose of this work is to improve human relationships by enabling one to evaluate others according to character traits. A secondary intent of this work is to clearly define character, as a set of discoverable attributes. The deep rooted causes of the traits are of no import to the author. Causes of behavior are of no consequence in relations to real observable outcomes. This work is purported to aid one in improving one’s life through improving outcomes. Improving outcomes in one’s life depends on proper evaluation of oneself and other persons in one’s life environment. One may choose and enjoy a life of negative outcomes. This work will empower one to identify
