    PART II

    DAYS 1 THROUGH 31

    DAY 1

    Walk In The Light

    G OOD MORNING FAMILY,

I WOKE UP this morning with the sun beaming brightly through my bedroom windows. It felt so good to start off the day with such a bright, beaming light. For we know that light generates good vitality, it is also symbolic of Jesus, who is the light. Think about this as we view the scriptures. In John 1:4-5, it says In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

We see here, that when we choose to follow Jesus who is the Light, we are also choosing not to walk in darkness, otherwise known as sin, in our lives. In this particular book of the bible, John the Baptist was being used to draw others back to the Light. As a matter of fact, Jesus used many of his followers (like the disciples), to bring people back to the Truth, which was walking in His marvelous light.

Family, don’t continue to hinder yourselves by walking around in darkness. Instead, walk in the light and let Jesus lead and direct your path.

    Let us pray,

Father, thank you for serving us a reminder through your Word that darkness does not exist as long as you are in the midst. We thank you and ask that you help us continue to walk in your light and love. We ask this in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

    God Bless Family!

Scripture Reflections: John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

4-5 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (NIV John 1:1-5)

    DAY 2

    I AM who I say I AM

    G OOD MORNING FAMILY,

HOW MANY PEOPLE do you know from growing up that are still the same? Do they act the same, treat you the same, or has something about them transitioned overtime? One thing I’m glad about, is the fact that God is the same and his stripes never change. From the first I, in Genesis, to the last Amen, in the book of Revelation, as one of the elders in the church like to say. He is the same God from yesterday, today and forevermore. (Hebrews 13:8)

Let’s take a look at the book of Leviticus. Here we see that the Lord clearly establishes who he is 15 times in the text by clearly stating that He is holy and I am the Lord they God. (Leviticus 19) It seems somewhat repetitive, but He declaring his name was to edify the people so that they knew who and what He was to them. And it’s no different than
