This book is an introduction to the microscopic world, a world we discover far too late in life, if at all. By making the microscopic world interesting we throw new light on the rest of the world. Flukey is a young flea who stumbles from one landscape to another and explores them and are described as he would see them and without obvious knowledge of what they are, that's for the reader to guess or discover. This is the simplest of the books that are to come, the first of many adventures.

I was born on a very picturesque island full of rocky mountains, forests, sandy beaches and crystal clear water, and of course tourists! So I spent a lot of my time as a child avoiding them by climbing the mountains, swimming in caves and exploring the forests! As a man I created five beautiful daughters and at bed time I created my own stories, unfortunately they did not serve to make them sleepy as they too added their own wishes to my stories; “I want a chocolate castle” and “I want a flying donkey with pink wings” were some of the things I had to contend with, but it allowed me to indulge in the limitless imagination of a child and gave me the confidence to write publicly. This book is dedicated to my kids.
