Setting intentions, trusting in life, ourselves, and being immensely grateful for it all becomes a way of living life deeply, with a sense of fun and a heightened awareness of awe for the miracles that happen in seemingly ordinary lives. The journey reveals purpose where once there was only a feeling of lack, confusion or uncertainty, and a numbed feeling; counteracted by a spark of knowing that there must be more to life. Over time when we implement life enhancing strategies with internal wisdom we evolve to living life as an art. Not fitting into this thing called life

Sometimes we feel like we just don’t fit…

For the those that feel the pressures of living in a mind ruled society, wondering how and why they find themselves immersed in a Matrix of untruths, and reflections that just don’t make sense, guidance is offered on how to better understand, perceive, and navigate life’s journey, in enhancing ways. For some these will be simple, but profound reminders. The transformational journey

The transformational journey aspect is shared to model the continuum of the mysterious, yet exciting unfolding journey. We all have differing levels of hardship to endure, which in the eyes of the Universe are purposely orchestrated to learn, grow, and evolve from. Each individualistic journey is tailored to manifest the Divine opportunities to express our creativity, expanding our authenticity, to share our magic. Paradoxically, we are all the same, on infinitely differing journeys that are all interconnected to the whole. No journey from a soul’s perspective is any harder or easier than another. To the soul, the journey is simply the journey. What may seem an immensely harsh and difficult journey to our human mind, is purely a beautiful opportunity for expansion of the soul.

It’s drawn from the endeavor of experientially learning to live life as authentically as possible, with the blessing and guidance of an early intervention from a wise soul. The reminders are a combination of what I believe to have been Divinely gifted to me to share, with personal insights from my own challenges intertwined with Universal truth evoking flashes of inspiration.

This thing called life

For those that contemplate this thing called life, and you wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t, it offers a differing perspective to consider and to challenge your thought processes, with the intent to open your mind or reaffirm what you are already thinking.

➢ Are your beliefs truly yours or that of generations of conditioning?

➢ The conditioning applies to all of us, even if we have been on a meandering path, in search of truthful meaning to the journey for some time. While we are alive on Planet Earth, residue conditioning remains in need of healing.

➢ Are your present-day beliefs that you are acting on yours?

Or from formative years, or beliefs blindly taken on throughout life because of judged experience or even from those your sought guidance?

➢ A key to life is tuning into your own answering service. Your intuition holds the keys to your soul signature that you seek from external sources.

Personally, I believe no matter how evolved you are considered, by yourself or your outer world, if you are alive, there is still infinite possibilities of living more fully on a continuous learning curve of discovery. If you believe you know it all, your ego has a strong hold, showing you have much to learn

➢ Bottom line, are your interactions fundamentally based on kindness, integrity, interconnectedness, equality, love, authenticity, and mutual respect?

➢ Or are they based on an unchecked controlling, egotistical mind?

If they are of the latter, it’s time to think again, as the transformational energy of love is growing in an incredible expansionary way. We are at an incredible period of evolutionary time where we are all called forth to actively be more Intune with the essence of love, in alignment with Universal Laws. It’s time we all stepped up, in honoring ourselves and each other, to embrace the beautiful gift of a harmonious life walking hand in hand. Firstly, to do this, we must experience a personal transformation of the old, into the new to return to the love that we already are. Fortunately, the two go hand in hand. By doing our own inner healing work, we are also transforming the outer world.

The journey shared here is mine. However, this book in truth, is about you. In, truth its’ about us, as all our journeys belong to the whole. To be shared, embraced and to enhance others’ lives, and by doing so, our own lives are also enriched, with the simplicity of feeling connected in the joy of being a participant of Universal healing.

Life is the dream. Live the dream that life is

Life is like a reflective interpretation of a painting. Initially, you may only notice the base colors and outlines. When you take the time to stand back and acutely observe, you notice all the intricate details. The depth and beauty. The flick of the brush. The creative flair.

You imagine the timeless journey of the artist as they’ve travelled to another world. The frustration of the unknown, the joy of being in the moment, the focused awareness all rolled into one. The passion, determination and the love of the artist, soulfully pouring their hearts into it.

A sense of satisfaction as life is breathed into the canvas. Reveling in the wonderment of the process. The artist poise unconcerned, with the result. For their trust in their intuitive, creative guidance is heightened as they orchestrate a new birth. They believe that what will be, is perfect in all its uniqueness. In a world where imperfections are beautiful expressions reflective of human love.

A painting is like life. It’s what you make of it. The painting alludes to a questioning of a deeper meaning.

How deeply will you allow yourself to appreciate and be immersed in life? How much depth do you want to discover and explore? How deeply are you prepared to love again? Can you perceive it all as pure experience without judgment?

The amount of vibrant color and mystery is yours to choose to gift to others.

Life is a beautiful painting we are all co-creating. Like anything, it’s more fun when done with joy in our hearts.

We get to decide how our painting is going to look and the story it will tell.

What message will it convey? Will we be brave enough for it not to matter what others think?

Like moments in time, paintings are impermanent. Paint over an old one, or better still, paint a brand-new one reflecting your renewed perception of life.

Life is the creator’s ultimate canvas to work on. We are all magically creators of life, when we allow ourselves to deeply believe.

Of all the projects, you will ever courageously endeavor upon, the portrait of life will be your most treasured gift.

You are already a masterful artist of manifesting.

Why did I write this book?

To form deeper loving connections for all involved.…

When I first started this writing endeavour, I felt the inspirational conceptual messages had already been expressed in a myriad of ways. I also felt that the fundamental concepts are very simple, however within the simplicity resides the profound.

What is simple to me, may be profound to you.

What you may find simple, may be profound to me.

There are messages within the messages. Reminders hidden within apparent illusions.

Signs appear, where there were once only ordinary moments.

Your own transformational story is interconnected with mine and all others.

The answers you seek are within the words, actions, and experiences in every encounter. Not in my words or another’s, but your perception and interpretation of them.

The answers I found on my journey are my own, as are yours.

The questions and answers formed were derived from signposts, coincidences and reflections from others, and all experiences co-created.

The questions you have can and are meant to be answered by you.

Every solution to every question is the same.

We are all enough, and divinely connected with love.

And that is the end of the book… (joking)

Your journey is different from the person you cross paths with, yet in that moment it is the same. It’s the same, as far as the meeting potentially has a deeper meaning if you are aware, and open to receive the gifts they may not even be aware they are giving you. That’s up to you to interpret as to the meaning of the experience. Within that time and space is an exchange of energy that is divinely designed to awaken each person’s truth of their soul. We are all searchers, believers, dreamers, students, and teachers, forever intrinsically interconnected. Every solution to every perceived problem is the same. Love and acceptance.

I wrote this book with the intention of helping others, in a similar style as to how I was once guided. (That catalytic meeting is shared here in the chapter Meeting an Angelic Guru). In doing so within that intention was to overcome a lifetime barrier of truly and deeply helping myself. These were my primary, purposeful intentions. In the act of helping yourself by reading it, you also help me with a deeper sense of self belief. By helping yourself, you will be helping others. And so it goes. As the process of writing the book unfolded, it became clear there were many facets of the guidance that I was teaching", that I needed to learn myself.

Everything we do is about us

If we are truly honest everything we do is about us.

Everything we do is about us? What?! Sounds kind of selfish! In the conditioned sense of the meaning, what we have been led to believe, it is. Any actions we take in life, in truth is a form of self-expression. The need for an experience, because we are on a journey of evolving, and it’s good to feel joyously stimulated throughout life. If we choose to have a baby, we’re not doing it for the baby, the grandparents, or our partner. Sure, there is an interconnected energy within this, which points to the fact we are doing it for the whole. For all of us. Interconnected to a different realm, of constant mystical communing. We go to work for us, even if it’s supporting our family, it’s a choice that we make primarily for us because it makes us happy, affecting the energy of people around us.

Where I am going with this?

➢ Bottom line is, in doing what we want to do in life for ourselves is a selfless act. If it is not harming others or ourselves it is healthy

Being selfish on the other hand is not taking into consideration how our actions affect others

➢ Whereas being selfless, is being inclusive, thoughtful and compassionate of others around us. Selfless acts serve everyone for the greater good. We’ve been conditioned to believe that it’s not a good thing to do. Being labelled selfish for acts that are serving others is the misunderstanding of a disillusioned ego

➢ Bigger picture, if the action is making you happy, and not negatively impacting on another, it is a gift to the entire world. We must retrain our minds to live life our way

➢ So, the point being, when are we going to decide to live life from a loving perspective based on our own truths that is inclusive of what we want out of life?

➢ What will it take us to allow our magic to be born?

Two questions we must really learn to ask is;

➢ What do we really want?

➢ What will really cause lasting happiness?

While asking ourselves these questions we need to learn to accept that the very nature of impermanence is not what causes the suffering. It’s the incessant egotistical need that wants everything to remain permanent. Life just doesn’t roll like that. However, while learning to live the concepts we are all continuously learning and mastering, we realize the possibilities of our potential to still have it all, but not in the expected way. The journey of awakening and freeing our minds from the conditioning, leads us to that place. Once free, and in a state of peace, everything comes to us naturally and makes perfect sense, as to why it was the way it was.

Accepting impermanence is connected to flow. Wanting permanence is related to fear. There is a balance where feeling grounded is interconnected with the natural state of Universal alignment.

When it all seemed so real…

We never know where each experience is leading. A loving Universe is ever knowing.

Trusting the process is of utmost importance.

Our role is to enjoy, while taking action into the unknown mystery.

The antiquated lift shuddered to a gentle halt after reaching the first floor, of its nerve-provoking accent. The steel and small frosted glass doors gradually slid open revealing a dimly lit corridor. It was an old building, in need of tender loving care. Yet, casting judgment aside, who knows the treasures and secrets that are hidden within any interior. The exterior only ever divulges so much of itself.

As he knocked quietly on the door to her office, her welcoming voice cheerfully chirping come in Alan. He stepped out of the dark wood-panelled corridor into a different world; a room abundant with light and positive, loving energy.

The little curly headed blonde, blue-eyed boy looked around nervously, wondering what was in store for him. This was his third visit to this strange but immensely kind woman, who seemed to see straight through him. She sat there with eyes of an owl in her sheep skin covered seat, behind the massive oak desk.

Always greeted warmly he felt safe. He sat there shyly, as she rustled through his file, peering over her glasses occasionally when asking him a question. He was fascinated at the various posters of astronomy, and iridology charts as his inquisitive eyes wandered around the room. Cello taped or blue tacked to the front of the oak desk on small pieces of cut-out cardboard, were numerous little inspirational quotes and words of wisdom. Reading each affirmation was thought provokingly uplifting.

Various books of the medical, inspirational, and alternative healing genre lined her bookshelves. One, that still stands out, being an introductory book that helped my initial healing journey. The title summing up the transformational, healing journey we are all on, to becoming one with the Universe, You Can Heal Your Life, by Louise Hay. Even today, when anyone mentions an ailment or disease of the body they are suffering with, I still refer to the rear of that book for guidance as for the probable cause and rectifying affirmation.

The spiritual apprenticeship had unknowingly begun

The pearls of wisdom adorning the desk frontage, complimented the air of authentic transparency, displaying an extraordinary way of approaching life. The above quotes are only a few of what I intuitively remember from the wealth of reminders throughout her office. Ironically, many of them were from Hay House authors, so among many other messages and insights throughout these pages, it is also demonstrating a full circle. A becoming one with what is taught, on many levels, to teach what has been deeply processed and integrated. Not one of completion, but one that shows the incredible progress, and evolvement that we can all manifest and enjoy throughout life.

I was initially oblivious to the rarity of such a person I sat before. Yet alone the transformational journey I had unwittily embarked upon by stepping foot into her clinic. Her teachings were light years ahead of the world’s current state of belief, concerning the mystical and not so mysterious aspects of life. Even now the Universal wisdom she taught has only recently gained significant momentum of obtaining a snowballing effect, to create a tipping point of an awakening of consciousness like never before.

As the years of regular visits past, I was in awe of this woman’s knowledge, wisdom, and insights. She had a natural gift connected to a powerful source energy, like an ever-flowing eternal spring. Incredibly she also seemed to know everything about me. In later years, I mentioned that I felt she knew me better than I knew myself. She replied, I know you as well as you know yourself Al. Which applies to all of us, once we learn to genuinely trust ourselves.

To be in alignment with our authenticity, is mastered by trusting ourselves.

This wisdom reveals the energy of people, in fear of setting the mask down.

Gradually the client/healer, slash student/teacher relationship transitioned to friendship, that felt like family. As the friendship grew, there were times that the guidance she offered became difficult thought-provoking riddles. The riddles intentioned purpose was, to encourage responsibility for tapping into my own contemplative, intuitive wisdom. This sometimes, frustrating interaction allowed the realization that I had a reservoir of answers within. She spoke her truth with undying conviction on absolutely any issue I presented within my life and of worldly perspective. It seemed she spoke from a Universal perspective, which was indisputable. Her reputation was renowned for challenging any lack of authenticity, all in the name of guiding people to awakening to a higher more contented truth, than their accustomed uncomfortable conditioning.

The Universe consistently communicates, striving to reach us in infinite ways.

Our artful purpose is to attune to the frequency of the messages,

that we feel resonation with.

The truly strong rarely have an easy past

Ironically, later in life, I would become a riddle-maker and speaker of truth myself. Yet, the journey getting there was to be a challenging one. I was to learn that the people who become truly strong in life, while still being humble, kind, and loving, rarely have an easy past.

Over the years, Anne shared snippets of her story, while passing on valuable truths concerning our relationship with life, intertwined with a loving Universe. I recall her telling me about studying Naturopathy and having to hide under the bed sheets with a torch to study, as her husband wasn’t into this apparent witch-crafty type stuff. Another time while I was working on her house I was surprised seeing her half hiding behind a bush smoking a cigarette, in a rare moment’s break in-between clients. She laughed when she saw me, explaining it was a moment of connecting with your deceased father on his birthday. To her, every situation was always an opportunity to practice kindness, honesty, and be truthfully open. She laughed, commenting, I couldn’t think of a nicer person to catch me.

Prior to writing this book, I spoke with her family who shared the challenging events in her life, some of what she had already confided in me. These experiences she reframed as gifts that guided her to discover her calling of becoming a shining light to others. She was perceived as an extraordinary person by so many. Yet the truth as pointed out by her loving son, was that she was an ordinary person. She had struggled with her own challenges like anyone else, to overcome them, to do extraordinary things.

This connection was to shape and change my life forever, yet this relationship had infinitely more power than the healing of myself. It was to be my journey of freeing my mind, so when the time was right, I had the potential to share the gift of doing the same for others. How long would it take me to wake up to this? At the time, I had absolutely no idea that this relationship was paramount and pivotal to every step I took from here on in. That alongside all the other experiences in my life, complimented with such in-depth mentoring, that one day in the far-off future, I would discover my own well of potential, to share insights to potentially influence and inspire others.

I was to walk in many shoes, feeling like living many lives in only one. To observe and experience life, at times like a victim. Falling and rising repeatedly. Overcoming and building resilience, guided by one of the kindest of souls. The journey wasn’t meant to be easy. For a reason. Until a time when I would embark on the journey of transitioning to become a guiding force, while still being humbly aware, that I would always be learning from the people I mentored. Although throughout life, I have changed immensely, I still had work to do. The sharing of my inner most thoughts and feelings was an ultimate leap of faith towards authentically living my purpose.

In hindsight, on reaching a certain point, life was a journey of research, without realizing that it was research in any form. Life was certainly an extremely challenging beast to deal with; however, it was all becoming clearer. Gradually the illusionary veils parted, revealing a shift in perception. Reality from a higher perspective truth, reframed the learnings with more clarity. The apparent hardship was not only intended for my personal learning, but was meant to be wisely utilized as strengths and insights to teach others. Little did I know, the kindness, compassion, and unconditional love, I was receiving was a pure reflection of my soul. This being the key for all of us to remember the truth of who we are, forever connected to eternal divinity. The awakening process had begun, and even though there were times when I wanted to turn back; I had chosen this path and once awake there was only one true path to walk. At times, walking in awareness seemed harder than being blissfully ignorant. I had to believe in the process and keep moving forward. Certainly not always an easy task from any stretch of the imagination. Mastering the art was more than understanding the concepts; it was fully feeling and living them.

There is no coincidence of the crossing of paths with another soul

This meeting with Anne seemed preordained to transform more than the healing of one mind. However, that would involve me doing a humongous amount of inner and outer work to achieve this. I was oblivious to this potential for many years. It never crossed my mind about higher reason, as to why I found myself so often sitting opposite a person who had the presence of an Oracle.

She explained to me in later years of the deeper and mystical reasons as to why life is, and unfolds as it does. In a nutshell, our souls chosen journey and intended purpose here was honoring and fulfilling a spiritual contract (more in Chapters: Initial Universal Reminders; and Becoming One with the Universe). It would be a decade after her departure, before multiple ‘Aha’ moments, often brought on by shifting ‘storms", gradually awakened me to connecting more deeply with Universal energy. A time would come when an unceremoniously passing of the baton of light, from the master healer to the apprentice healer, would be revealed. The challenge would be mine to accept, or to deny the honored privilege. Resistance was my comfort zone. Loving persistent from the Universe was my guiding force. My soul would summon the storms necessary to cause me to realize, sometimes there is no choice. To deny the work would cause the magic in my soul to shrivel. I had to face the fears that were lighting the way. Somehow, I would step up to teach in my own way, with my own insights.

By default, I had enrolled on an organic spiritual apprenticeship that extended over 20 years. I wonder if she intuited what the future held, of how my potential role in life would unfold. There was much knowledge passed to me to remember, however at that stage of the journey the labeling of learning was used. The wise teachings were interlinked with the unlearning’s of a conditioned perception of life. Cliché I know, but "When the student is ready, the teacher appears. Except I had no idea of my willingness, connected to my soul’s expectations". The process of healing and becoming had begun regardless.

Life presents us with an abundance of opportunities, showing our readiness to embrace and handle them. Even if we feel oblivious to their meaning, or our belief is contrary to the experience, opportunities will knock, to evoke our process of evolvement.

When I stepped into the unknown of writing this book, I struggled with writing about myself, as I wanted the message to resonate with people without my story being the sole focus. The deeper I delved into the writing experience, I became more relaxed and confident in my abilities of the message I was endeavoring to share. I felt an external and a humbled inner insistence that the book would detail aspects of my journey. I realized it was crucial to forming a connection of resonation, to outline my perceptions of the mysterious workings of the Universe, to ultimately assist you on your meandering adventurous journey on Planet Earth. The reality is my story is yours, and yours is mine.

The mysterious ways of the Universe become transparent, as our relationship becomes more interconnected with life’s abundant, mysterious workings,

as our heightened observation perceives the natural laws continually unfolding.

We must all start the healing journey somewhere

Our conditioning has created beliefs, that life must be lived and viewed in a certain way.

Each of us has a responsibility to discover a deeper truth in our own way and time.

From a Universal perspective, we have all the time in the world.

Ironically although this holds truth, it’s equally important to make the most of every day.

Limit rushing the journey from an egotistical sense of feeling important, or of time constraints.

Learn to slow down allowing life’s real blessings of living with authenticity, integrity, and love,

to gift us meaningful, memorable experiences throughout life.

Life enhancement evolves from practicing the art of presence, and letting go of the fallacy,

that we are less than the power of The Universe in any way.

Right here and now is the starting point, to transforming our lives.

We are the same as the energy of the Universe.

Powerful beyond our misused imaginations.

An energy opposing, and embracing an egotistical mind.

A pure divinity of unconditional love.

This energy is the way forward, on a personal level and global stage.

(2) Meeting an Angelic Guru

The Universe is always collaborating for us to perceive beyond our limitations.

I unknowingly allowed the gifts to come to me

Unbeknown to me at the time, the Universe was cheering me on from a young age encouraging self-belief, and instilling a sense of trusting life’s infinitely mysterious process. Although the force of heavy conditioning was determined to undermine that loving presence, I was to learn that there is an absolute truth in love being the most powerful force in the Universe, that will without a shadow of a doubt reach us all, in some mystical way, to assist in guiding us to our rightful divine place in the Universe. It seemed there was a rite of passage to journey through to awaken to this powerful truth. An internal battle ensued, aligned with destiny and a power beyond any illusionary opposing force. Opportunities were presented to overcome all obstacles, ensuring the journey, even though at times painful, confusing and lonely, was walked in the hands of divine intelligence always, even when at times the connection felt lost. The gift of fortune was crossing paths with a wise soul, revealing her unique spin on Universal wisdom, and what life was about.

The mystical, typically untaught art of going within, setting intentions, trusting a loving perspective of divine intelligence was shared without expectation. These truths were paramount for an abundant, peaceful living, in the continually unfolding process of questioning the mysteries of the journey of life.

The energy was a connection to Source. The Universe offering a reminder of the spark of divinity within us all to love and achieve great things. We only have to choose to use the wisdom wisely in a synchronistic flow with life.

The Universe is always collaborating for us,

to perceive beyond our limitations.

We are all guided in every moment,

whether we believe it or not.

Universal laws touch us all.

The divine you admire within another

Resides within you.

We may allow our ego

to convince ourselves of feeling disconnected,

However, our soul has the wisdom

I was extremely fortunate that my journey delving into the realities of life hidden by the illusions of conditioning begun in my early teenage years. I experienced a gradual awakening to the realization that what seemed real, was a surreal dream of conditioning we are bombarded with from the get go to believe without questioning throughout our life. During those formative years of spiritual development, I only partially understood what this really meant. The journey was to unfold into a myriad of life experiences to a profound connection to a higher truth, to lead to a feeling of authenticity and feeling one with what is. Everything would come at the right time; however, it wasn’t predestined to be an easy path by any stretch of the imagination.

The process of learning the art of authentically living comes with a price.

The courageous act of being vulnerable allows a transformation

from ego, into a profound loving inner strength.

The price being emotional turmoil, uncertainty, and being misunderstood by many throughout life.

The payoff comes when we decisively honor ourselves,

doing what is best for us by listening to our intuitive voice.

Creating peace and happiness in our lives is the worthiest gift to give.

The selfless act of respecting and honoring yourself creating your happiness

is an energy of an expansive nature,

extending joy and peace as a gift to the world.

Leading someone to the truth is a noble act.

It is up to them, not to simply understand the concepts,

but to truly live them.

Knowledge comes with learning experiences.

Wisdom is of the divine.

When as much as you know you know,

There is so much you don’t know.

To know and live this,

is the pathway to experiencing a humbled wisdom.

Knowing you have a Universe that knows all,

guiding you in times of uncertainty,

gifts you the opportunity to relax,

in the knowledge,

that working out how your journey unfolds,

is not up to you.

Humility is the master.

Yet can be used by the ego.

Ego can be very subtle.

Learn and live the difference,
