    INTRODUCTION

    THE YARD

As three-year old Virginia Mattson sits on her bicycle in the front yard, surrounded by a white picket fence nestled in the Third Ward Park area of Passaic. She has a sad look on her face and a tear running down her cheek because she hears her stepfather screaming at her mother. Virginia watches a large group of bikers ride by. As she watches them go by, one by one, the last motorcycle has a female rider who stares at Virginia. And Virginia’s eyes are locked on this one woman, and the lady blew her a kiss as she rode by. Virginia then wipes her tears and peddles her bicycle towards the rear of the house. The sounds of screaming and glass breaking can be heard from inside the house. Then her mother falls out the backdoor bleeding all over, and she then collapses in the backyard. Virginia runs to the neighbor’s house crying and asks the neighbors to dial 911. Her stepfather climbs into his car, backs out of the driveway and drives away. Police and EMS arrive, they treat and transport her mother to the hospital. Virginia’s biological father arrives at the hospital a few hours later. He walks over and hugs Virginia as she was in the waiting area with her grandmother. They all then sit down and wait for any word on Rebecca. Twenty minutes later the doctor informs Robert that Rebecca is a stable and there are good vital signs and she’s responding to our electronic prompts. Robert tells the doctor, thank you. He then carries the sleeping Virginia out of the hospital to his car.

Robert brought Virginia over to his mother’s house to care for her until he finishes his reports. Two days later Virginia’s grandmother receives a call from Robert saying, Rebecca is awake and will be ready to go home in a few days. Three days later Robert picks up Virginia from her grandmother’s house and brought her home. Rebecca was sitting on the couch when they arrive. Virginia never saw or heard from her stepfather until……

    CHAPTER 1

    Twenty Years Later

While putting on their biker gear, which includes black helmets with a red hourglass insignia on top of their helmets and the back of their vests to signify a Black Widow spider. And the words The Black Widows on the back of their vests. They all roar away from the café and arrive at their club headquarters. They start discussing their game plan over whiskey shots and a game of dominoes. Then Barbara calls Virginia over to the TV as they start to watch an episode on TV that has a segment about Virginia’s fugitive stepfather, he was seen in Las Vegas, Nevada. The angry, teary-eyed Virginia looks on and then grabs her helmet and tells the ladies she will be right back. She climbs on her bike and ride over to visit her mother who was resting at home. As they were parking in front of Rebecca’s home, a police Captain walks up to Virginia and gives her a hug, he told her to be careful. He then looks at Barbara and tells her to check in when she returns. Barbara gives him a salute as they walk into Virginia mother’s house. After a few hours at her mother’s house, they ride to route 21 north. As they left Passaic, they enter Interstate 80 west. After riding for a few hours, they connect to the I-99 south. Virginia decides to stop for the night in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. They ride into the parking lot with their motors roaring and park. Katie says she will pay for the rooms as they all walk in. After resting, they decide to go out on the town for the evening. Sporting their Black Widows vests, they enter the bar and order their favorite drinks.

After a few hours, they become tired and start to leave. A group of men start to harass them, the ladies ignore the men and walk away. But the men follow them to the parking lot of the hotel they were staying at. Suddenly, the men jump on them, the Black Widows defend themselves and beat the guys and ran off. They beat them so badly, they did not see where see the ladies went to, so they lay and moan.

After a few minutes, police and EMS arrive and question the men and investigate. The men told the officers that they beat themselves up and are sorry. The officers gather some information, arrest a few of the men for assault then left the scene. Katie receives a knock on her room door, she pulls out her .50 Desert Eagle and opens the door slowly. A man tells her that his name is Mike and he needs to talk to the shot caller. Katie tells him to wait outside, she then closes the door. Shen calls Virginia and informs her of what is going on.
