HELD TO RANSOM

I first heard of Lynn Mifflin while producing a feature on a Vespa Rally street sleeper owned and built by Andy Edensor from Stafford. He’d purchased the bare machine and researched the history of it; a friend of Lynn’s spotted the reg number and told her about it. The two eventually met and Lynn had her picture taken sitting on her previous machine at the Southport National a few years back.

Although I’d become friends with Lynn on Facebook it wasn’t until this year’s Isle of Wight Rally that I actually met her face to face for the first time. And what a pleasure that was – a lovely, bubbly, smiley lass.
