About this ebook
Delores Riggs Dale
Lelia Loving Riggs was born August 1, 1922. She lived most of her life in Norfolk, VA. Living by the water was her life and her inspiration. She never had a real education, but was taught through the many books that she read. She had a zest for life, and everyone around her especially her family and of course her animals. She not only wrote poetry, but composed three songs. She would also dress up and do pantomimes to amuse her family and friends. She was so spontaneous; and you never knew when she was going to surprise you with something new!

These writings were often her thoughts and feelings jotted down on bits of piece of paper found throughout the house.
