Hi my name is Levis Adjetey. I am from Toronto ,Canada My story is very simple. For the last five years, I have been working on a story that I have been very passionate about although it is fictional. The story came from a series of visions which I am used to having because I am naturally a visual artist. This vision came to me one year when I took a trip to Ghana I will expand more on this on the origins of the story a little later. I mentioned earlier on that I am a visual artist. Now this story came to me in a picture first. Now being a visual artist I wanted to put my story into an animation, so for the past four to five years, I have been trying to get it made into a movie(e.g., like lion king or beauty and the beast, and Alladin within those realms). But it has been challenging. I have oput out numerous youtube videos but nothing too positive to help my work to that recognizable level. One of my friends has been encouraging me for a while now to turn my story into a children’s book. My fixation on seeing this story turn into an animated movie had not changed. Just about 5 months ago, my friend and I were talking again and the book idea came up again. This time around I really took a deep thought into it, and I finally decided to change my lane and try making this story into a book. So about 5 months ago I sat behind my laptop and just tried to turn my story into a book. Now if this book idea takes off, I am really hoping to turn it into an animation. I will pray and hope.

Chapter 1
Oga fights for Tela’s love
King Abbey and heavily pregnant Tela chat the night away as the dark skies studded with tiny stars cast a shadowy glow on Tela’s high cheeks ending on her luscious full lips as she turns her gaze shyly away from Abbey smiling.
Locked in the night of love chit chat, they lean on their sleek purple car as Tela giggles Mom entarily at Abbey’s sweet talks. Unknown to Tela and Abbey, Rock Warriors who work for the ruthless Oga creep out of the scanty bushes from both sides of the dusty red untarred road into the dark; their gaze fixed on the two love birds.
picture%231_.jpgThen suddenly [Screech], a car pull over by Tela and Abbey. Stunned, they turned to a strong yellow coupe that is now parked few inches from their already wobbly feet. [The back window slowly rolls down as Oga, Tela’s love from the past puffs smoke from cigar behind his dark shade. He bares his teeth in a grimace and says.
Oga: King Abbey, good to meet you again [He puffs another smoke] It seems this time under a difference circumstances. [He says and laughs teasingly]
King Abbey: Looking grim and angry replies Oga sternly, what are you up to this time Oga, I am prepared to fight to my last breath. He mutters under his breath.
Oga: [Snaps his fingers and gestures his Rock Warriors to attack Abbey].
Abbey cast his eyes to the left and right as towering shadows of Rock Warriors approach from both sides of the streets as Tela grips Abbey’s arm in fear.
Abbey: Oga, don’t mess with me this evening. (Tela tries to restrain him cautioning to be careful but Abbey shrugs off Tela’s grips and takes a step towards Oga.
Rock Warrior: Shut up! The Rock Warrior with glowing eyes bellows and punches him in the face landing Abbey on his knee. [Tela runs to his side as Abbey wipes the blood from his patched lips and struggles back up on his feet panting heavily].
Oga: Get the girl… [He orders his warriors who grips Tela struggles to break free crying out to Abbey.]
Abbey grabs a rod from the floor and charges at the warriors but is punched again in the face as they drag Tela into Oga’s car; slamming the door behind her. Abbey rushes up again and runs towards the car as it speeds off with Tela.
Abbey: [Abbey lets out a loud cry calling after Tela]. Tela…a…a..a….a Oga, if you touch her, you will suffer a thousand deaths … I am coming for you sooner than you think… the last warrior smacked the back of his head with a stick as Abbey collapses to the floor.
Inside of Oga’s car
Tela lies unconscious on Oga’s laps as she stirs up from her state of unconsciousness, her vision still blurry, she looks up at Oga…
Oga: Tela my love, you’ re up. He says in a soothing voice and gently brushes her cheeks.
Gaining consciousness and clearer vision she quickly gets off Oga’s legs.
Tela: Where am I, Where am I ... she question bewildered. … Where is Abbey?!!
Oga: Take it easy my love … you are safe with me.
Tela tries reaching for the door. (Oga presses a button as the door stays locked) yelling… help help!!!.
Oga: Tela my love I mean you no harm, just relax and hear me out ok …
[He reaches out to touch her cheeks again but she yanks his hand away and snubs him looking away from Oga].
Oga: Okay fine …
Oga in the backseat lock eyes with the driver Attukwei’s in the drivers mirror Attukwei moves his eyebrows up and down twice in curios anticipation thinking Oga and Tela are going to flirt.
Oga presses yet another button as a tinted glass rolls up to cut off Atukwei’s view from the back seat. Disappointed Attukwei face turns blank as the glass fully closes.
Oga: Tela my love move closer now.
Tela: She flashes him an angry look and looks away in disgust.
Oga: Tela my dear, why do you act like that … [he pushes a button by the door. He ejects three candles out of the car console. Oga pushes another button ejecting small marble table out of the same console and lights up the candles with the car lighter] He clears his throat and stammers Tela, I love you.
Tela: Cuts in sharply…. Love!!!! Oga never again! … I can never love you again, why can’t you understand this… get over it!
[Oga ignores her haughtiness then pushes another button ejecting cold alcoholic drinks from the roof of the car as the atmosphere is filled with cool vapour. The vapour emerges with the air as it falls down from the roof of the car, accompanied with drinking glasses. Oga takes the drinking glasses and places them near the candle light as he pours the sparkling red drink in the glass.]
Oga takes a long sip of the drink and reacts enthusiastically uuuuuhhhhhhhhh just right, he sighs with his eyes closed and a wide grin. He looks up as he smiles satisfied with the drink.
Oga then puts the drinking glasses down and Pushes the intercom button by the door then calls out to Attukwei.
Oga: Attukwei turn the light down now.
Attukwei: Yes sir! sir! He responds, Oga winks at Tela, as the lights dims.
Oga: Oga naggingly says Ahaahaah too low Attukwei. Oga winks at Tela again as she stares back pouting her lips boiling with anger.
Oga: Attukwei turns it up to regulates it as Oga calls again
Oga: operator to high ohhhhhhh, [Attukwei turns it down again] Ahaaa just right ...
He then takes off his shades and rests it in the backseat car compartment and pushes the button sending the mirror back into its compartment.
Oga then pushes another button ejecting three mirrors one vertical and two circular mirrors from the side of the car door as he checks himself out in the mirrors. He combs his vertical hair with a combing pick and pads it down a bit as Isaac Hayes song Shaft
floats through in the background. He then licks his fingers tips and runs it over his eye brows to bring it to shape.
Oga presses button to change music to slow R&B music by Jodeci Last Night
.
He grabs the drinking glasses and moves closer to Tela now slouching in the seat making more conspicuous her baby bump. He hands her a glass of wine but she ignores him. Oga holds the drink in the air.
Oga: Tela my love… my love I have missed you dearly.
Tela looks up at Oga and runs her gaze down to his feet with attitude and snatches the drink from his hand.
Oga then starts to sing along as the song gets louder he pulls out a magical pen from his pocket and starts writing the words in the songs, LAST NIGHT I WROTE A SHORT LETTER
He starts to write a letter in the air.
The words start to float towards Tela. Tela blows the words out of the air. Oga choruses always
the last words of the song and open his eyes.
She looks at him from the corners of her eyes and throws the sparkling red wine all over him.
Oga: Tela are you crazy?… [Confused by her actions, he shakes his head.] Have you not missed me? He questions her curiously.
Tela: Miss you?!, miss you and your abuse, never Oga. [Oga then rushes at her, as he tries to force himself on her.]
Tela struggles with him slapping him and fighting back.
Front seat of car
Attukwei hears noise from the back as Oga and Tela are battling.
Attukwei: Hmm interesting..wow!!! Oblivious of the scuffling at the back .
Attukwei: They are loud… he says winking as he thinks they are having sex.
Attukwei:Oga do it!!! Oooohohhh do it!!!!!ohhhhhhhh pointing his index finger with a wide grin.
(Switch back)
In the course of the struggle, Tela hits him in the head with the wine glass. Oga Mom entarily stunned, checks his head oozing with blood from a cut.
Oga: Tela!, what have you done?! He jumps at her throat and begins to choke her. Tela reaches out and presses the cut in defence as Oga lets out a cry of pain loosening his grip on her throat. Coughing Tela presses a button as the exterior of the car opens as she attempts to climb up; Oga pursues and restrain her.

He targets and fires two other shots which lands on the Rock Warrior thrashing it on impact.
Oga who is outside his car commands his ever submissive and tough Rock Warrior to charge at King Abbey.
Interior of Oga’s car
Meanwhile Attukwei who is still behind the driving wheel tunes radio as he tries to hit a distractive fly and refocuses back on the steer as a Rock Warrior is sent flying at his window. He attempts to miss it but, the Rock Warrior crashes through the front window with a bang, bringing their car to a halt.
Oga jumps out of the car screaming at Attukwei. What was that… you made us just miss Abbey! (King Abbey’s car speeds off into a distance)
Oga: Yells behind him. Abbey!!!! Abbey!!! You won’t get away with this ohhhhh!!! I will come after you, you can run… but you can’t hide!!! He holds his index finger in the air as he shakes it intensely after King Abbey’s car, while he holds his bleeding left eye with a cloth.
