R. M. Hensle is a native of Mississippi who moved to one of Chicagos suburban communities. She is a former military office and a retired teacher with twenty years of teaching experience in a public school system. She holds a bachelors degree in finance and a masters degree in education. She enjoys reading, running marathons, cooking, biking, and traveling. She is dedicated and committed to mentoring and preparing disadvantaged youth in obtaining their GED, college degree, and succeeding in a global society. Her desire is to take her not-for-profit organization, Literacy to Succeed and Beyond, NFP to disadvantage youth in communities across the nation and world. R. M. Collier Hensle believes that an education can open doors and provide children with the tools in identifying their calling and making a difference in the world. Also, she believes in developing relationships in the communities to focus on change and human development. She coached girls in a not-for-profit organization to believe in themselves and gain self-confidence though a variety of educational activities.
