Introduction

Ronnie The Rabbit’s Adventure came from a true event Angela and Barry came across whilst taking a getaway to Llangollen in July 2016. After sitting on the balcony of The Wild Pheasant Hotel and watching the antics of a herd of rabbits playing in the field, suddenly out of nowhere along came a fox hiding in the long grass behind a foliage ready to pounce on the next rabbit that ran past, little did he know on the other side of the foliage was a large rabbit watching his every move who was alert to the danger and started to gather all the little rabbits to a place of safety, this rabbit was standing on its hind legs like a Meerkat, watching and guiding them all in, as soon as the rabbits scattered to find a hiding place, up in the bright blue sky there was something even more dangerous lurking, waiting for an opportunity, it came in the shape of an Eagle, as this Eagle approached the field the remaining rabbit started burrowing down a hole leaving the field empty with no sign of life.

From the sunny weekend in the fields of Llangollen came a story of a courageous little rabbit who’s love and dedication for his family will be shown through his bravery, compassion and true spirit he displays for his sworn enemy Eric The Eagle. Ronnie is no ordinary rabbit, he is the protecter and the leader of this little community, his wisdom, guidance and the energy he possess’s bring’s out the true leader in him, and it is his words of wisdom that the rabbits of Llangollen have been following for many years.
