Michael grew up with pets. Now he wanted a cat. So he convinced his wife, Sandy, to get one. She said yes, and they got one and named the cat Charlie after rescuing him from his environment. But the one thing Michael liked about Charlies personality the most is the same thing that leads the young cat and the family on an adventure in this first book in a series, Charlies Escape from Home.
