- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I was surprised to discover how many of the suggestions put forth in this book are things that I already do— swim, meditate, yoga, etc. And it’s a nice reference for self-care if you’re not used to prioritizing your emotional health. I saved this book and enjoy going back to it for inspiration.

PART ONE
Going From Stuck to Flowing
Everything that you can see, hear, feel and touch vibrates. Nothing rests. Everything in nature vibrates at a different frequency, according to the law of vibration. The level of frequency is determined by vibration rate and wavelength. The longer the wavelength the shorter the vibrational frequency. Everything has a vibrational frequency.
Much of what we see and hear is only possible because of vibration and waves. We see the world around us because of light waves and we hear the world around us because of sound waves. All waves are caused by some type of vibration.
Take the example of throwing a rock into the water. The rock hitting the surface causes the water to vibrate. This vibration disturbs the surrounding water causing waves to move. As the waves move toward the shore, they transport energy from one point to another.
The law of nature states that atoms are in a constant state of motion and therefore everything has a vibration. As human beings, we are a part of this amazing system. Therefore we are constantly vibrating and all of our cells are constantly vibrating, individually and collectively.
So, our rate of vibration affects the way we live our lives. Healthy body cells vibrate at a certain frequency, as do unhealthy body cells. The tragedy is, many people operate on a low vibrational frequency for most of their adult lives.
This can create that sense of something lacking in our lives. From there people have a tendency to look externally to fill the hole,
leading to addictions to drugs, alcohol, gambling etc. However, real change comes from within. So many people are looking externally for change, when we should be focusing internally.
Problems occur when we experience a chronic low vibrational state, which can lead us into depression, anxiety, frustration or even physical ailments such as heart disease and cancer. Unfortunately, this low vibrational state has become normal for many people.
The good news is we have the power and ability to create change for the better in our lives. When we begin to consistently do things that raise our vibrational state, we find it easier to move from "being stuck to flowing." Awareness is vital. This is always the first step towards change.
If you are in a place in your life at the moment, where you are wanting to move from stuck to flowing, then this book will be looking at 52 ways to raise your vibrational state. This in turn will help you to experience a higher and more consistent energy in your life, opening you up to more possibilities for change.
Thought waves can penetrate through time and space. Thought is the most potent form of energy. Everything that we see in this world that was made by humans was once a thought. Each sound, thing and thought has it’s own vibrational frequency unique to itself.
Thought waves are manifested in a variety of forms and phases. Our thought waves move in all directions, similar to the rays of the sun. Thought power is the key to creating your reality. The more focused the thought, the more power it has. The more positive the thought the more potent the vibration.
I am not a scientist, and I really do not understand quantum physics very deeply. However, from my base level of understanding I can say that quantum physics breaks down physical things into their most basic form, attempting to discover the source from where they came. To put it another way, Quantum physics is an in depth study of the building blocks of the entire universe.
From that study, quantum physics has revealed that the basic building blocks of everything in our universe, seen, unseen or experienced are light, or energy. Energy is magnetic and always vibrating. Our thoughts produce an energy, which is also magnetic.
Human bodies are filled with cells containing energy. We are made up of trillions of cells. Each cell is made up of molecules, each molecule is made up of atoms and inside each atom are sub atomic particles. These sub atomic particles are pure energy, or light.
So we really are energy creating machines. When we feel another person’s energy, we are actually picking up on their vibrations. Our bodies electrical system responds to other vibrational frequencies. As we vibrate, we send out waves of energy. These waves of energy attract other energetic waves of a similar frequency.
A much simpler way of phrasing it is like attracts like. That is in short, how we attract through vibration. So, if being in a chronically low vibrational state can cause both emotional and physical problems, then it’s reasonable to state that being in a chronically higher vibrational state can cause us to experience greater health, energy, joy and happiness.
Moving Energies
This is a powerful concept to grasp. It’s easy to comprehend, but much harder to live. I try to follow this philosophy, but I must admit, I am a work in progress. This is not something that I have mastered. Like many of us, I often still live my life on auto pilot. I should also really point out here that I’m not someone who has it all together, nor am I a wise teacher or guru. I’m not perfect, and I still make mistakes. My intention with this book is not to preach to you, but simply to offer strategies and suggestions that can both raise your energies and empower your life.
I am someone who believes we are here for a purpose, and one of the ways to assist us in finding that purpose is to feel better. When we consistently raise our vibrational state, we can’t help but feel better. I believe that the better we feel, the clearer our purpose becomes.
I’m certainly not at the level I’d like to be, and that’s okay. I know that this life is a gift and I want to utilise this gift as wisely as possible. This is why I really feel privileged to write this book, hoping that you can take something from it and apply it to your life. That is part of my purpose.
My journey on this path began some time ago. After traveling the world as a young man, I returned to Sydney and began a career with the Ambulance Service. I witnessed a lot of human suffering and after a while I came to the conclusion that physical suffering was only part of the problem, often the pain went much deeper.
I came to the understanding that our pain can be healed, but we are ultimately responsible for the healing. The medical profession can only do so much. This was a new perspective for me and led me to the belief that we may not be able to change our immediate circumstances, but we can change how we think and react to them. It was like a missing piece of a puzzle.
I tried putting this into practice when I came across people who I was having any type of conflict with. Not always with great success, but changing the way I react to situations was the only real power I had over my emotional state.
Meanwhile, life was throwing up its challenges to me. I had a young family and a sick mother who needed taking care of and also many work and financial problems that just wouldn’t go away. I was feeling the pressure. Part of my problem was that I was recreating similar outcomes over and over, due to repeating many of my thoughts and emotions.
I was caught in that negative loop. The
