About this ebook

Countless people in the world today are faced with fear in their lives every day, either directly or indirectly. Fear takes people into bondage. The fear of terror and death, the fear of insecurity and failure, the fear of losing, and even the fear of man are just but a few. In whichever way fear seems to be encountered, it should be known that fear is demonic.

This book not only reveals the source of these kinds of fear, it also teaches the reader to rise up, encounter, overcome, and be a master over fear instead of becoming a victim of fear. Good to be read by all, especially those that seek to be free from fear.

    Two kinds of Fear

    And he said,

    I heard thy voice in the garden,

    And I was afraid, because I was naked;

    And I hid myself.

    Genesis 3:10

    Until the fall of man from the grace and glory of God in the Garden of Eden, there was nothing like the negative or what I call demonic and satanic fear. This demonic fear entered into the life of man and took man in bondage because man refused to do the will of God. Ever since then, this fear seems to reign in every aspect of man’s life. I mean the kind of negative fear that made man afraid to turn and hide himself away from the loving God who created him. This is the loving God, who gave him life and blessed him with the expectation to enjoy life in its fullness. This gives us a slight insight to God’s purpose in creating man in his own image and likeness; being for relationship, success and prosperity.

    One thing I see and also believe is that, God the Father did not create man to fear and hide away from him but to share life with him in mutuality. In other words, man was to approach God based on the Love he has towards us in cool peaceful harmony. This was not for the sake of fearing him in a way as was shown in Adam after his disobedience to the instructions of God. Just like any of his creations, the bible reveals that God created and made man unto himself for the sake of his pleasure based on communion and fellowship. We read;

    Thou art worthy, O Lord,

    To receive glory and honour and power:

    For thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure

    They are and were created.

    Revelation 4:11

    This was and is not the kind of communion and fellowship that caused his creation and for that matter man, to fear, run and hide away from God. You see, it is good to know that God has pleasure in his creation which includes you the reader of this book and his expectation concerning you is that you will enjoy the fullness of the life he has given you without any form of fear. God created and made whatever he created and made in order to have relationship with them, directly and indirectly at his pleasure and for his pleasure. God purposed to have pleasure and enjoy his creation to the maximum so much so that the pleasure of enjoying his creation in turn would release his blessings upon them. This might have been one of the reasons God created man in his own image and likeness being, to communicate and fellowship with them in the beautiful Garden of Eden. What a beautiful life!

    The only possible fear available before man fell might have been what I can call the righteous fear. This is the kind of fear that made man loved and revered his Creator and Maker. This reverenced fear was not a dominant kind; but that which was exercised voluntarily by man to love, follow and obey to do the commandments or instructions of his Creator and Maker. Such was the fellowship and communion in relationship with God and man until Satan through the serpent entered in the garden to deceive the man and his wife into disobeying God. This deception and disobedience led to the fall of man from the position of glory and as far as man’s fellowship and communion with God was concerned; everything got broken down. This affected man’s righteous or reverenced fear that made man want to love and obey to follow and do God’s commandments. Instead, this form of fear made man to shy and hide away from their Creator and Maker. This is what I call satanic fear because, not only did Satan cause the downfall of man, Satan also introduced and imposed his fear upon man. This was in order to control and take mankind captive and put him into some sort of bondage. The imposition of Satan’s fear upon man came to affect the righteous fear of God that was in man from the beginning of his creation. It is good therefore to know that, there is the righteous fear and there is also the satanic or demonic fear. Both of them have their sources and that both of them operate differently.

    Satanic and Demonic fear

    This satanic fear is a reality until today operating in and through diverse ways, taking people into bondage and captivity. This sort of fear has no geographical barriers and is no respecter of persons. It is confronted by almost every person who lives and dwells on the face of the earth and in this world. Day in and day out as the sun rises to welcome the day for life’s activities; and the sun sets to welcome the night for good sleep, countless people all over the world around the globe get confronted with this demonic fear. There are people who are afraid of the night to be able to sleep because of what might happen. Even the day becomes fearful for some who might not know how they are going to make it through life.

    Now, people who are bound and taken into captivity by this demonic fear have a tendency to see fear in everything. Such people’s minds are filled with thoughts of fear which influences the way they think and speak as well as their actions and reactions. In fact everything about them has a sense of fear. Man is known to have five normal senses but there are people who may have that unaware sixth sense of fear as well. In other words, this sort of fear seems to have an absolute influence over every aspect of such people’s lives in a way that leads them into a frustrated life. In their frustration, they reach out to the nearest possible easy means of support which could sometimes be fatal. They seek for any kind of means to hinder or overcome it.

    What countless people who are confronted with this kind of fear do not know or are aware of is that, this fear is spiritual. And being spiritual here means that it can only be felt and sensed but cannot be seen or touched. Something that cannot be seen and touched can also not be dealt with physically or naturally. Physical things might be dealt with physically but spiritual things are and can only be dealt with spiritually. This is one of the reasons people find it hard to overcome fear in their lives. And because this fear is in itself demonic by nature, people who gets confronted and controlled by this fear are led into a means that makes their lives more miserable. No hope in life anymore. Rather, only discouragements, disappointments and frustrations in life. These become the moments where some seek and try to have a way out or temporal escape either through selfish desires of sex, greediness or through drugs and alcoholism. They find others to blame for everything that goes wrong in their lives. These are all symptoms of how fear affects life.

    These symptoms of fear that destroys every hope in a person’s life might not be a coincident. You see, after the fall of man from God’s glory and grace, man’s hope of making it prosperous and successful in life were also shattered completely, lost and gone forever. The good news is that; only God can restore this hope back into man’s life; and he has made plans for every person to be able to overcome this satanic or demonic fears; something we will discuss later in the pages ahead of this book.

    The bible also reveals how that this satanic fear affected mankind so much so that the thoughts and the imaginations of man’s heart all became evil after the fall of man. The bible reveals it this way;

    And God saw that
