    Introduction

    A) Many are called, not all are chosen. This means God will test you. Some are called and used and dismissed for foolishness, how they treated the anointing. 2 Timothy 1:9-10. Proverbs 23:26. Proverbs 21:2 Jeremiah 17:10. God ponders the heart. C) Here are the 10 Tests

    1) Time test - God puts you on the shelf for a long time, to produce/develop faith in your life, because you hang on to the call. God will shut every door in your face, and seemingly forget about you, so he can look at your motives.

    2) Word test - God will test your knowledge of scripture. Things will hit you hard, and there is nowhere else to go but the Bible for wisdom. God cannot use you, if there is too much flesh in the way. God makes your flesh dead and out of the way, so God can get the glory. Disastrous things will happen, you will be tried/neglected by your family. Will they go away, or will they come closer?, asks the LORD. God will allow us to be betrayed, accused, forgotten, ignored, and possibly end up in a horrible pit, like Joseph. Joseph in prison had to rely on God’s promise. Wives are to use their weapon of influence to support their husband’s office. Sometimes, men are called, and their wives are NOT! Find a wife who fits your call. Don’t marry for emotions, beauty, she is nice, for being married. Don’t marry until you are absolutely sure you’ve found your call of God.

    3) Servant’s Test - God will put you in a place to see if you will serve another man, pastor, ministry. How will you serve another minister? Today, many want to be bosses, not servants. When a man of God needs you, and your wife needs you, choose the man of God, or you’re dismissed. I won’t let family interfere. Bible says Elisha served Elijah possibly for years, not days. Elijah made life tough for Elisha, by firing Elisha 3 times. You don’t know if the man of God is happy or mad. If you cross that line and disrespect the office, you are out. The man of God is unpredictable, and will drive you. Don’t count on your children following you. Gershom didn’t follow Moses, Joshua did. If you forsake a man of God after giving yourself to him, God will destroy you per Korah. Are you a servant, or is it baloney? The call of God is more important than your father’s funeral service. You must forsake all. Men of God a) are unpredictable b) will sometimes pull away from you c) The sensitivity that allows you to hear God, can destroy you outside the anointing

    4) Wilderness test - God will put you through the most difficult period of your life, to get the world out of your system, so you don’t enjoy a thing about the world. This is to get Egypt out of you, when God will purify your being, and you will have no choice but to seek God. This will force prayer on your life. This is the most important test. Everything around you shuts out, you will lose your friends, those you enjoy being with, as God takes them away. You will become uncomfortable with that you used to be comfortable with. Thus, we learn the ways of the Spirit, so we have Holy Spirit Radar.

    5) Patience Test - As long as he’s ministering, it’s his time, nor yours.

    6) Frustration Time - You will become so frustrated with your life. You’ll stand and look at that man of God with the anointing on him, you’ve gone through many tests, and done a great job, but now your body begins to ache, your mind tired, and the older the man of God becomes, the tougher he will become on you, and GOD will watch how you handle it.

2 Corinthians 4, put your eyes on heavenly places.

    7) Discouragement to the limit Test - Elijah said, I cannot handle it any more. You get so very discouraged, to help you focus back on the call when you are discouraged. Thus, you re-examine your priorities.

    8) War Test - God tests your fighting abilities. Devil takes no vacations. You develop your spiritual weapons & warfare abilities during this season. There is only victory when you walk in the Spirit to thus defeat all enemies.

    9) Vision Test - God will test your vision. Nehemiah 1:1-11, 2:1-6, his vision was tested to the limit. So he built with one hand, and fight with the other. When you prove to God you can still hold on to the vision. Habakkuk 2:1-3: HABAKKUK 2:1 1 ¶ I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. HABAKKUK 2:2 2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. HABAKKUK 2:3 3 For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

    10) Promotion Test - Can this man handle exaltation? Can he handle it when people start clapping? Will he become proud, arrogant? Will he push his senior out of the way? Don’t dishonor his servant, by taking his mantle before the man of God gives it to you.

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had Everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.

When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands. He said, Sir, you don’t know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art.

The young man held out his package.

I know this isn’t much. I’m not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this.

The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the portrait Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It’s a gift.

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected. The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection. On the platform sat the painting of the son.

The auctioneer pounded his gavel. We will start the bidding with this portrait of the son. Who will bid for this painting? There was silence. Then a voice in the back of the room shouted. We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one. But the auctioneer persisted. Will someone bid for this painting? Who will start the bidding? $100, $200? Another voice shouted angrily. We didn’t come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Goghs, the Rembrandts. Get on with the real bids! But still the auctioneer continued. The son! The son! Who’ll take the son?

Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the long-time gardener of the man and his son. I’ll give $10 for the painting. Being a poor man, it was all he could afford. We have $10, who will bid $20? Give it to him for $10. Let’s see the masters. $10 is the bid, won’t someone bid $20?

The crowd was becoming angry. They didn’t want the painting of the son. They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections. The auctioneer pounded the gavel. Going once, twice, SOLD for $10! A man sitting on the second row shouted. "Now let’s going. The auctioneer laid down his gavel.

I’m sorry, the auction is over. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings. The man who took the son gets everything!

God gave his son 2,000 years ago to die on a cruel cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is, "The son, the son, who’ll take the son

    Faith

The tradition of Jesus Christ = The tradition of the True gospel of Salvation

    Part 1

Faith is not JUST a WORD: faith is defined by God’s perspective as being humble obedience to the issuance of His grace, by which ye are saved.

Let us see how this is revealed through someone everyone is well acquainted with: Abraham.

Abraham, a righteous man of God because of his faith according to the standard that God determined for righteousness at that time, in order for him to be found righteous and a man of faith. Thus righteousness was imputed upon him because of his faith.

In Genesis 12 vs. 1 – 4, God told Abram Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee: and Abram did not enter into reason with God, neither did he doubt the Lord, but Abram reacted and So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him: Abram left his birth country and all he knew, took everything he owned and his wife Sara, including Lot and left. He didn’t leave a door open for his return to that which he knew, because he followed instruction from the Lord and obeyed.

Abraham in the presence of grace OBEYED the word that God had spoken to him.

Moving forward, we see in Gen 15 vs.1 – 6, that the word of God came to Abraham in a vision and thus, the Lord made him a promise that his seed would be as the number of the stars, uncountable. Thus, Abraham even having no child from his union with Sara, at the high age of 75, didn’t doubt God for one moment, but it is written, And he believed in the Lord; and then due to his believe, the following happened, and he (God) accounted it to him for righteousness

We can therefore see the established pattern for being found righteous before God, which is grace + faith = righteousness, of which, Faith is the response of a believer in obedience to grace.

Grace is the form of communication received from God, its His voice, His power by which He reveals Himself to believers as their Creator, making them aware of their longing to know Him and thus to seek Him and join themselves to Him. By grace they are sustained and nurtured to become fruitful and build the House of the Lord.

Faith is the word that identifies the hearts humble response to grace on hearing the truth (knowledge) of God, which is Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Oxford dictionary: faith – strong believe, trust

    Faith is to BELIEVE.

Believing IN what is heard, and thus to acknowledge Jesus Christ(truth) as the pattern and record for faith, to mold with the knowledge through labor with the tokens provided by God for faiths expression and to submit to the effectual power of the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Truth.

Faith worketh trust in God, for in as much as Satan as the father of lies, deceived men to believe that the promises of God can be attained whilst remaining independent from God, by believing in many truths (doctrines of men), so God has provided a remedy called Truth (Jesus Christ = knowledge of God=gospel of salvation), that reunites the obedient with God and joins them to Him as they are rooted in Christ (abide), the offence (breach) being removed that exists between God and man due to sin and death. Equity is restored and peace rules the heart. This meaning Christ Jesus rules in peace within and manifests His peace for overcoming the contradictions to be endured and suffered through the process of transforming the old man unto the new man.

The definition of faith is: Man’s obedience to the grace of God, as grace is initiated (given/issued/poured out) by God, to call man from darkness unto His Light. Therefore grace calls man to recognize Him in truth and to accept Him in truth as the heart is humbled by grace in that moment of revelation.

Therefore, faith is obedience to the impact of grace, whereby the heart is humbled to grace and yield to the will of God and thereafter submits to the effectual working power of the Holy Spirit within, through due process, who confirms and bears witness to Jesus Christ in truth, as the foundation knowledge is laid within the heart through re-education of the mind (renewing of the mind) from laboring with false knowledge (which is the deception of Satan) unto laboring with truth (knowledge of Christ) that forms the mind of Christ within, which means being like-minded - having the mind of Christ, which means to see through the eyes of Christ, which means to have His perspective. This is the perspective of the Throne and thus, this IS what it means to be a true Christian. It means to be Christ-like. Not referring to His outward appearance or by acting as He would have done in scenarios, but in fact, to HAVE the MIND of Christ Jesus. By His perspective faith is perfect as the believer is then perfect IN and THROUGH Him. Can you see this?

Grace awakens the soul to seek God, to want to know God on acceptance of grace that calls man from out of darkness (ignorance=death and sin) unto His marvelous light (truth=life and virtue through fruit bearing) whereby the face of God is revealed in and by truth. Meaning, God is seen in all things as the Spirit is the witness of Jesus Christ in truth. Can you see this?

Darkness means spiritual ignorance whereby man has been transgressing against God, walking in contradiction to His truth. Ignorance does not mean innocence, only those that accept Christ in truth remaining in covenant return to innocence like little children (pure and undefiled conscience), but those whom reject His grace and covenant terms, are grace resisters (resisting Him) and are deemed sinners, sinning against God wilfully and thus by choice. Man has been given a sovereign will, free will, by which he can determine whether he wants to yield to the will of God and thus express his love to God by choice through obedience in faith, or to turn away from God and walk after his own imaginations and the traditions he has grown accustomed too, that strokes the ego, boosts the carnal mind in thinking he can live a life separately from God by own strength to confirm the self and build a kingdom for the self on earth whilst making God subject to his own will.

There is just 2 choices, no sitting on the fence, accept grace or reject it.

With both choices there are subsequent rewards and a kingdom, an inspiration, knowledge and wisdom embraced and fruit bearing that will take place. The choice remains with the believer which road he/she will take, the broad or the narrow way, because there is no middle way.

Grace is Gods form of communication to the soul by which He reveals Christ to the believer, thus by grace comes the revelation of Christ, by which the heart is illuminated and enlightened, as the Spirit testify of Christ in the truth heard and to awaken the heart to know God. It is at this point that a choice is made…to either accept the revelation of grace or to resist the grace of God.

In accepting the revelation of Jesus Christ in truth by grace, the believer accepts Jesus Christ as the Son of God, being God, and willingly submit his soul into the care of God for the transformation process to begin, as the heart yields to the Spirit of God that is the witness of the record of faith, which is Jesus Christ.

This means that the believer agrees to the terms of His covenant and enters into a new tradition of faith that is governed by the Law of grace and truth through the effectual working power of the Spirit under His stewardship.

If a believer resists the grace of God, he will turn away from this revelation to walk after the traditions of men following the doctrine of men that stands in direct contradiction of His truth that makes him an enemy of God.

Truth offends. It cuts deep and the conscience feels convicted because of its transgression against God, because the will is weak due to sin and death.

Therefore grace = revelation = Jesus Christ. Can you see this?

Mans perception of faith is NOT Gods perception of faith…there IS a difference. Knowing the difference is very important. If one does not know the difference, how will one know what God deems right and acceptable for faiths expression and service to Him?

The things of man are NOT equal to the things of God…there IS a difference.

Darkness and Light abide not in the same space, as darkness flees before Light.

When someone says they have faith in something, someone or in a certain concept/venture/system, it’s a strong belief or conviction felt by that person, that is normally strengthened by an inspired emotion or a set of principles of the self, or a group of people that’s like-minded, working towards the same goal(s).

When based on/in religion, it becomes a very strong conviction and trust, that is then expressed through activities, behaviour or a form of correctness in a specified way, that becomes the tradition of that specific denomination, befitting the group or denomination one is part of, that each follow their own understanding (private interpretation and according to precept and line) of scripture (text) on which their specific doctrine taught, is based..

Precept and line: what does it mean?

When faith is measured according to precept and line and not by the pattern of Jesus Christ, we see the ignorance displayed about how God measures faith. We read about this in Isaiah 10:13, "But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken".

What does it mean to regard the word of the Lord as precept and line?

Precept = scripture, the written word, paper and ink

When precept is carnally applied to the different areas of our lives, the flesh serves as the ‘plumb line’ for measuring scripture.

By this form of gospel Christians try to build faith in Christ by ordering their lives in imitation of Him, according to their misappropriation of scripture, rather than ordering faith according to the pattern of Jesus’s truth.

    1. When someone tells you to read the Bible and then to ask God what He is saying to you by that scripture and then to do it, it’s an example of this form of gospel, thus precept and line.

By precept and line faith is redirected to the self instead of to Jesus Christ.

    2. Another example shall be, when someone tells you to go to scripture and see what scripture says about the problem/issue/dilemma or sadness you experience
