Pandoras Return: Volume Ii
()
About this ebook
Over the time lapse between lyrical bursts, there have been many situations that cannot be poetized and others that may fill in the gaps between what people may see and what others may do.
I think the best way to sum up this book is as a war on the imagination.
Ingram Foster
Born in East Anglia and raised in the southwest, Foster has a passion and finds inspiration working in and out of various landscapes, fortunate to live as Agatha Christie did since the early age of adolescence. Inspiration, he finds, comes in many forms. Sea air, countryfolk, and a popular holiday resort all bring plenty of things to one’s mind with which to occupy itself. There is plenty to grasp on to and with the seasonal changes come the varying personalities that come for pantomime and an accompanying chardonnay. Volume II is inspired by Ingram Foster’s perception of people and the mysterious lifestyles beyond the map.

A MONARCH’S MONARCH
Swirling high above our grasp,
Barely noticed at a glance, the falcon scans horizon wide,
Perched in scrapes above the tide,
Swirling swooping stooping fall,
Gliding riding, thermals tall.
Over, above our canopy, the metropolis,
Commercial street.
Wild-free, envious the monarch,
Adored by all, a patron’s respect.
Drawn to see prestigious stance,
No fine-tuning, already enhanced.
Nook and cranny ’comes a home,
A hardened place that no one knows.
Streaked in dark and eyes are weeping,
Story tells of a history creeping,
Etched on the minds of all who know, the peregrine
falcon forever flow!
THE TRAVELLER
Country road winds onward downhill,
Curving toward the valley ahead,
Turning up to a hilltop crest,
Moorland view, slow down and rest.
Carved into the hillside steep bends to the left and right,
Around the farmer’s field of crops,
Bubbling below fresh water spring, castle crescent atop.
Walkers pass a layby halt, and riders trot on by,
Dog of shepherd chases grazing sheep
Startled grouse breaks out in fear,
And cars in distance hum ever closer.
The traveller in bus stop shelter sips,
Tea well brewed and earthly sigh.
Dusk encompass’, falls from above,
Hides like curtains dampens the glare.
Moving onward, leave behind, in the concrete cat’s eyes stare.
Moonlight glum casts overall.
Another day again comes night,
Moving on, winding closer – destination end of time.
ATLANTIS
Tides rolling around the globe, currents drag, undertow. Gravity of earth defy, flying high below the sky.
‘Swaying’ all along the beach, waves crash
