Nancy Smithson Summerlin is a pastor who came to the pulpit after more than twenty-five years as a communications and management professional. In 2004, she left her corporate career to attend Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia, where she received the E. T. George Award for Excellence in homiletics, worship, and public speaking. She has served in small churches in Virginia and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and leads retreats at church conference centers.
