About this ebook
God came into existence first. God worshipped inner source of knowledge (guru) to come into existence. A teacher who teaches English is called English teacher. Teacher who teaches math is called math teacher. Same way, the teacher who teaches spirituality is called guru. Worldly teachers teach from the brain to brain. The guru teaches the soul from soul. Guru is a mentor as well. It is telepathic transformation. Make your own judgment. When God felt lonely, he created the creation. He started caring for it. Doing so, he got attached to it and fell in love. God set love as prerequisite to realize him. The Creation is a testament to it. Mind is a thought-processing system. Spirituality is a study of the mind. Divinity is a state of mind. Spirituality is a rehearsal of the mind to miss God, and it straightens following gurus teaching. Sometimes it helps to follow the teachings of prophets or saints. But they have died long ago. So it has very little effect because the spirituality is learned telepathically from mind to mind from a living guru. The mind does not tune to spirituality without the gurus blessing. It can only be learnt by self-surrendering. It cannot be forced into the devotees mind. It can be learned from a spiritual teacher through love, humility, and dedication. God is great. Everything created by God is also great. So everything in the world is flawless and beautiful. To stay abreast with Creation; God assimilated himself in everything. That is why God is called omnipresent.
God created his creations, including human beings. God abides in everything. So God has mothers love and motherly relation with his subjects. The subjects also have motherly relation with God. God wants us to realize him, and we also want to merge with him to end separation. I do not know much about other species, but man has instinct to go back and merge with the entity he separated from. So it is a mother-child relationship. There are many types of faiths, procedures, and processes people use to find a way to go back to him. We assume that God is one. Therefore, the final process to realize him also must be one only. Finally, all processes merge and end up in onethat is, to learn from a learned master, the guru. The world is a terrifying world ocean. The being is on one side of it and godliness or to merge with God is on the other side of the ocean. Gurus teaching is the process to take the being across the terrifying world ocean. It is a lot easier to learn from a teacher than your own. I was fortunate to meet my guru and become his devotee and follow his teaching and advice. At the same time, I started to read and contemplate the Sikh religious scripture, Siree Guru Granth Sahib. It is a spiritual book only. It has no stories that a person has to learn from. Writing in SGGS is by living saints, and it emphasizes that guru is God. One will have to console with guru to console with God. Other important criteria to realize God is selfless love, humility, and dedication mentioned in SGGS. Most harmful events from becoming divine are duality and slander.
I learned from my guru and from reading SGGS. I decided my path, and I follow it under my gurus guidance and following the teachings of SGGS. Both have same message and advice. God is the highest power in the universe. In order to miss him, recitation and repetition are necessary. So there is lot of repetition about praising God in this book. To understand this book, the reader has to tune his mind to soul searching.
Some people follow other systems. I have no opinion or knowledge about it. It is a lifelong process. Life is too short to learn on your own. He who puts his feet on two boats does not cross the water doing so. As they say, a guest at many homes at the same time remains hungry. It is my humble request to follow one path, whatever pleases you.

Journey
Life is a journey, time plays a role
Body is a train, carrying the soul
The life is a journey, birth a station
Healthy! You live, die sick patient
Nobody knows where we come from!
Also nobody knows, where we go
Scared of death, don’t stop your breath
Some want to live forever, it’s not so
Some depart early, the others late
It’s no coincidence, it is called fate
The life is hard, controlled by tension
Don’t know much, I can’t mention
Everyone is on the run, everyone to go
Some move faster and others slow
Everyone stops for a while, not forever
It will happen again, never say never
Some come to receive, others to know
Everyone feels sorrow, when you go
One thing is for sure, there is no cure
There is no cure, you better endure
You are born to die, don’t know why?
O Bains; believe it, then why to cry
Alone you came, and alone you go
Why make friends, when you know
It’s just the beginning, not the end
There are many stops, it’s the trend
Others are ignorant, human is wise
Don’t worry Swarn; enjoy the ride
Realization
Catch a train, without any hesitation
Miss him forever, with love and devotion
Pray to almighty, through guru’s blessing
Enshrine guru in mind, recite his lesson
Recite with each breath, true meditation
See with inner eye, and obtain realization
Deeds are examined, not your possession
Results pointed to you, after examination
You make your fate, next life expectation
Credits written in fate, after explanation
O Bains meet the guru; learn godly lesson
Straighten your mind, eliminate temptation
Worship him humbly, with love and passion
Humility cleanses soul, loving and devotion
Recite God, with devotion and determination
O Bains you realize God, eternal destination
(Above three poems are in English only)
You only You
O beloved; extinguish fire burning in my heart
Eyes learnt weeping when they got enticed by love
Eyes weep and go out of control, when my eyes meet you
This crying will end when tied and put in the casket
You are my love, you are my lover
You are my separation, you are my union
You are my pleasure you are my pain
You are my contentment you are my greed
You are my creator, you are my caretaker
You are my life you make me survive
You are my promise and fulfiller of it
You are my lover you are my love
You are my lover you are my beloved
You are my heart you are my soul
You are my principle and interest
You are my end you are my origin
You are my kaaba you are golden temple
You are sickness of love in my heart
You are my beginning you are my end
You are my guru you are the saint
Now I am not o beloved, you you you only you

You are sunshine and shade as well
You are my code of conduct, you are my faith
You are my deeds, you are my humility
You are my well wisher and my honesty
You are my Sikh Granth, you are Purana and Quran
You are my host, you are my guest
You are my pride you are my honor
You are everything for me, you O beloved you
I miss you and cry I keep saying yes you you
O God my mind speaks and says you you
O my beloved you you and you you only
You are in my heart you are in my soul
You are my beloved you are my sister friends
You are beloved and companion of my heart
You are my poetry you are my ink and pen
I am your devotee you are my master
You are my guru Ajaib knower of my mind
You are my thief and thief of thieves
You are my moon and Greek partridge
Wherever I look I see you O beloved
I have no ego I am nothing, it is you and you
Origin
With blessing of inner guru, God came into existence
He played the game of five elements and merged in them
God sat in trance taking blessing from the guru
When God realized thoughtfully he created the universe
Saying one word entire universe came into existence
God worshipped the guru again and separated the planets
Sun moon and stars came into existence and give light to the world
God created worldly wealth and that deluded the world in doubt
There will be no worldly affairs without worldly wealth; and without doubt there would be no life
O God you put the guru-willed in doubt and enticed him to follow you in love
What did you get by giving pain to guru-willed Swarn
Enticed by love O beloved; you run the world strung by one thread?
The universe, planets and all others worship you as much longing you created in them
Sun and moon pray by circling around you all the time
As much devotion one has that much reward he gets
As one sows so he reaps, God watches hiding in the soul
Animals birds human water and trees, God abides in all
Mind of a human wanders in doubt worried about heaven and hell
I was separated from you due to my deeds; I have been
united with my guru by your grace
O godly man; worship the guru in his refuge and God abides in the congregation
Worship the guru in his refuge, God abides in the true guru
Dedication eliminates duality; reciting guru’s teaching pleases God
Guru the true guru is bestowal of salvation, guru is God
God is under guru’s control as a man is in his wife’s control
God and true guru are friends, loving the guru unites with God
Creation of world
My beloved had an idea; he closed his eyes and went into trance
He tested his desire and created the world and blessed the world with his inner feeling of love
He said one word and millions of species were created
He created the world in a moment and enshrined love in all
Created the sky and underworld and blessed earth with giving birth
Nanak closed his eyes and witnessed it, and the elder explained to the world
God spoke the sermon of creation, and created the world
Then he questioned all if he was their God, everyone shook his head in agreement
He increased his ego and put his control over the world
First he gave them life then pride, finally he charged all with punishment of death
He did what appealed to him by testing his power and ego
Reason he created the world that he was proud of his powers
He asked everyone after creation if they will recognize him
O Bains; God and ego are enemies, so he gave ego to the world
First he created air, and added different type of seeds in it
Then united the seeds and created water from air and mixed seeds in it
Then he set fire to air and water, created earth and sky
First the female was born out of water; she gave birth to all beings
In order for the creation to flourish, he made male and female to copulate
Different flowers bloom all the time, everyone has independent mind
He added a load of greed in it, all think that everything belongs to them
He treats everyone with one eye, everything belongs to him
He preserves the honor of his devotees and gives punishment for bad deeds
He keeps everyone alive through breathing and hides in the heart
He enters every life as a soul and writes whatever deeds and faith one performs
Does not stop anyone from doing good or bad, never says a word
He keeps account of every moment and never curses anyone while alive
He takes account of everyone at the time of departure and everyone receives the reward of his doing
O Bains; you will go empty hand when you are punished to death
Divine path
If one can understand to control and guide his mind, path to divinity becomes easy
First find a guru and fall in love with him and learn how to console with him
Listen O people of the world; God created the world in love
God blessed all with love at birth, and he is realized in love
O sister friend; if you have longing to find a guru, you will find him
In order for love to flourish you have to become humble; it cleanses the filth of soul
Enshrine him in the mind, self surrender to him, and eliminate worldly love, greed, ego and pride
Be humble and cleanse your soul. It eliminates ego
Lamp of love burns in the mind and then you miss the beloved from your heart
You will get up and run in a dream hastily when beloved gives heart pain in a dream
When you miss the beloved, his name intuitively comes on your lips
Once you fall in love, the soul sings beloved beloved
You cannot make a telepathic link till you are at peace
O Bains; you do not gain anything if you do not have faith in the guru
Once guru is enshrined in the heart, he will wake you up in a dream
You may say beloved beloved the whole life, filth of mind will not wash away if you slander others
Slandering others makes the mind filthy; filthy mind cannot miss the beloved
My beloved is different from rest of the world that is why I always say I am your lover
Learn the lesson from guru (divine teacher) and keep reciting all the time
Become humble and be at his service, it will entice the guru
When gain and loss become primary goal, you cannot give up greed and worldly love
If you want to find godly path, get culture of guru’s teaching added in your mind
Milk does not curd without culture, and you do not get butter to eat by churning milk this way
The sun gives light during the day and it enlightens the world
The darkness takes over at night and blocks worldly light
The guru sheds divine light and shows godly path. But the devotee only obtains, how hard he tries
I worship my guru as God, consoling with guru is unique
My guru is the middle man between me and God, God abides in my guru
When I see the face of my guru, I see God in him
O sister; become humble and fall in love, and sing beloved beloved
Give up ill will towards others, and eliminate duality from mind
Do what the guru demands, that is how he makes heart to heart connection
When hearts connect, the guru looks with a glance of grace
Iron becomes gold touching the touch stone, and previous account is eliminated
Then neither account book opens nor is your account audited, the devotee and guru merge
Love
