Chapter 1
The Unknown Super Grandparents
A t an amusement park in Florida, Super Grandma and Super Grandpa rescued their grandsons, Marlen and Bobby from being kidnapped by two criminals.
Super Grandma and Super Grandpa apprehended the two criminals and then four security officers who had been looking for the criminals ran up to them.
When the security officers saw that Super Grandma and Super Grandpa had caught the criminals, they escorted everyone to the front entrance. Two police officers were on standby. They took the two criminals into custody and drove them to a nearby jail.
The news media was on the scene, and a news reporter asked Super Grandma and Super Grandpa to stand on a wooden stage with the two boys. He wanted to interview them, and the news photographer would take pictures.
Marlen and Bobby didn’t know that Super Grandma and Super Grandpa were their grandparents because Super Grandma and Super Grandpa were The Unknown Superheroes.
They stood on the stage and crowds of people cheered and yelled, Super Grandma, Super Grandpa!
Maria and Ann saw Marlen and Bobby standing on the stage with Super Grandma and Super Grandpa. They walked onto the stage with their other children, Alex, Roselle and Rheese. They told Super Grandma and Super Grandpa that they were Marlen and Bobby’s mothers, and thanked them for saving their sons.
It was time for the news photographer to take pictures. Ann and Maria gave Marlen and Bobby a hug and a kiss, and walked off the stage with the other children and waited for them.
While Super Grandma and Super Grandpa were taking pictures with Bobby and Marlen, Super Grandma looked down at the two boys and then at Super Grandpa. She winked her right eye and said, Well, it looks like my magic worked after all, and we may have had a little help, don’t you think?
Super Grandpa smiled, and pulled his right earlobe and said, It’s a possibility!
The news reporter asked Super Grandma and Super Grandpa to air on the news about what happened at the amusement park.
Super Grandpa said, Two young boys were kidnapped by two men when they were with their mothers at the amusement park. We aren’t sure why the two men took the boys, but we will disclose the information to the media after the investigation.
The news reporter asked, Did the boys know who the two men were or was it a case of stranger danger?
Super Grandma replied, "We think we know one of the suspects. I must make everyone aware that stranger danger doesn’t always have to be someone that you don’t know.
If a child is taken without permission from their parent, guardian or caregiver then the child should know that the person is a stranger, and they are in danger. Be sure that you educate your children about stranger danger. All children are Super Great and Super Grand!
The crowd cheered, We love you, Super Grandma. We love you, Super Grandpa!
Super Grandma and Super Grandpa gave Marlen and Bobby a big hug, and Super Grandpa told the two boys to go where their mothers were standing. The boys ran off the stage to be with their families.
Super Grandma winked her right eye and flew into the air. Super Grandpa pulled his right earlobe and flew into the sky to join her.
The crowd of people clapped and cheered, Yay, Super Grandma, Yay, Super Grandpa!
Bobby’s little brother, Alex, asked him, Bobby, who were those people with masks and capes on?
Bobby replied with excitement, That was Super Grandma and Super Grandpa. Super Grandpa is just like Papa Patrizio, but Papa Patrizio doesn’t wear a mask and a cape.
Marlen heard their conversation and said, Yeah, and Super Grandma is like my Grandma Jeanne, but she doesn’t wear a mask or a cape either.
Little Alex stood looking confused at the two older boys.
Bobby said, We should get a mask and a cape so that we can be like Super Grandpa?
Marlen laughed and said, I already have a mask and a cape. Let’s ask your mom if she will buy you guys a mask and a cape. We can play together and pretend like we’re Super Grandpa’s.
Roselle was sitting in the stroller and heard what the boys were talking about.
She said, I want a mask and a cape too!
The three boys laughed.
Marlen said, You’re too little to wear a mask and a cape, but if they make them small enough, we’ll ask Mom to buy you one.
Bobby looked down at his little brother, Rheese who was sitting in the stroller and asked, Do you want a mask and a cape too?
Marlen, Bobby, Alex and Roselle were giggling while looking at Rheese. Rheese didn’t know what they were talking about. He shook his head up and down as if to say yes.
The children were laughing loudly. Maria and Ann stopped talking to each other when they heard the laughter from the children.
Maria looked at them and asked, What is so funny?
The children continued laughing and Marlen said, They want to buy a mask and a cape, and Rheese wants to buy a mask and a cape too! We want to dress like Super Grandma and Super Grandpa!
Ann and Maria were laughing.
Ann said, I think that is a great idea. As soon as we get home, we will find a place that sells them or I can even sew the capes and we can make the masks together. Do you have a mask and a cape Marlen?
Marlen got excited and replied, Yeah, I do, but I want mine to be like Bobby’s, and Alex’s, and Roselle’s, and Rheese’s!
Ann looked at Marlen and said, When we get home, we’ll have you, your mom and Roselle over and have a sewing party. How does that sound?
The oldest three boys yelled, Yay, Yay!
After hearing the boys yell, Roselle and Rheese started yelling along with them.
Ann said, I have some great news to share. Maria and I were talking, and since we are staying at the same hotel, we can ride in a taxi van together. When we get to the hotel, we will go swimming at the outdoor swimming pool.
Marlen and Bobby were jumping up and down with joy. They took their moms by the hand and told them that it was time to go.
Maria and Ann left the park with the children to go back to the hotel. They got a taxi van and rode together. Having the children altogether worked out well for them. Marlen and Bobby were the same age and Alex and Roselle were one year apart. While riding to the hotel the children talked with each other, and the four of them always paid attention to Rheese.
Maria and Ann’s cell phone rang at the same time. Maria’s mom, Jeanne was calling to see if she and the children were all right, and Ann’s dad, Patrizio called her to make sure that she and the children were okay.
When they hung up the phone, Ann said, My dad is a Super Dad and a Super Grandpa! He is always making sure that my children and I are safe.
Maria laughed and said, That’s how I feel about my mom. She is a Super Mom and a Super Grandma!
She stopped laughing and became serious.
She said, "My mom told me that the authorities were flying Minsu and his accomplice back to Chicago. The detectives will ask them questions about why they were targeting our families and the students at the schools.
"I’m sorry all of this happened. Minsu has always been violent and cruel to the children and me. He uses drugs and alcohol, and has been in and
