The Book of Seasons

The book of season is for children and is written in poetry form. It covers the different season such as spring, summer, fall, and winter. This book asks the question, what do I wear? And it gives the children options of what types of clothing they can wear during the different season. Cognitive skills is the domain I use to focus on because it allows the child/children to use their brain to think. It gives the child the ability to have an input and foster language communication. The book has a lot of color and illustration to give the children ideas but also allow them to create their own look for the season.

My name is Tanisha M. Johnson, and I am thirty-six years old. I am legally blind, and I am a single mother of two children. My son is nineteen, and my daughter is thirteen. I was born in Louisiana but currently reside in California. I have successfully attain an AA, AS, and a BA in criminal justice. I am currently seeking higher education in the profession of child development. I love working with children because they are our future leaders of tomorrow. My goal is to foster positive attributes into their lives. I enjoy writing poetry books for children, and I hope it would make a difference in their lives even if it just puts a smile on their face.
