I’m Nigel Mcknight, and I was born in Rochester, New York. I’ve found the passion of writing as a hobby since the age of twelve. CHARACTERS

Neval aka (Green eyes) is 33. He’s dark skinned complected with a taper brush cut. He’s 6’ 2" tall and about 225. He’s a college grad that was so caught up in the streets that he didn’t utilize his degree in Business until some time later.

Deven aka (Delight) is Green eyes only younger brother from their mother Teona. He’s 30 years old. Delight graduated high school, but wasn’t interested in going to college. However, he loves children.

Teona is Green eyes and Delight’s mother. She’s a Christian woman but is very street savvy. Don’t get it twisted. She has secrets of her own that she’ll take to the grave. Congrats to her husband (now seperated for 18 yrs) who’s the father of her two children.

Greg aka (Murda) is Delight childhood friend. He’s a 30 year old canon. Won’t hesitate to do you in. That’s his motto, kill first and the hell with the questions.

Kuan aka (K-Born) is a 33 year old man that has ambition for the streets. He’s very calculating and preciseness is his forte. He also becomes Green eyes best friend.

Geneva is a 34 year old woman that has a great sense of humor and loves to have fun. She can be deadly and brutal when it comes to Green eyes. She has many secrets and skeletons in her closet that Green eyes will never uncover.

Charity is 33. Geneva’s besty. Charity and Geneva go way back to grammer school. They’ve been through a lot together. I mean a lot! Charity was a paper chaser that use to be a stripper. She’d do almost anything for that all mighty dollar. She’ll even take someone’s life.

Juni is 36 and a jealous and conniving individual that always has something up his sleeve. Even though he’s older, he still look at himself as a stick up kid. However, Juni became very close with Green eyes and really liked him until this one particular day.

Rual was 12 when his brother had gotten murdered over drugs and money. Now he’s 24. He became a stick up kid when he turned 15. Rual is very determined to find the assailants and avenge his brother’s death

INTRODUCTION

West Inn, New York is like any typical city with drugs, crime and betrayal. Green eyes and his boys finally made it to the top. There’s always a crab at the bottom of the barrel to pull you back down. As they say keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer because there’s always a snake or two in the grass.

This fiction novel is based on made up characters and anything portraying real life events is purely coincidental. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Enjoy this read.

PROLOGUE

Year 2015 (Bagging up money)

Man, what the hell you doin’, hurry the fuck up! This shit is unbelievable. Fuckin’ around, we’re gonna get caught! Juni says.

Man, stop crying like a bitch! Ya ass acting all scary and shit. Nigga, I got this! (while shaking his head)You planned this shit, not me. Fuck this dude!. Raul says.

Yeah yeah, I hear you. I bet if this nigga Green Eyes catch wind that it’s us or what eva, you’re going to be all on hideout type shit. Juni says as he chuckles.

"Damn, this nigga was really gettin’ it! 3 bags of dough! This what the fuck I’m talking ‘bout! Ok, I got the last of this shit. Let’s make moves. Raul says.

As Raul and Juni was exiting the door (unbeknownst to Juni) Green Eyes, K- Born and Delight was sitting in an unknown vehicle due to the fact Raul (a latino/Jamaican cat) tipped them off. You see, about 8 years ago Raul befriended Juni due to the fact that Juni was the one responsible for the death of Raul’s older brother during a robbery when he was about 12 years old. Every since that day, Rual vowed to avenge his brother’s death. About 3 years ago Raul linked up with Green Eyes to get revenge on Juni. Now he has his chance. But I’m going to back 12 years to how all this began.

CHAPTER 1

Year 2003

One day on a hot summer day, Green eyes and Geneva planned to go out to a local club. It was packed. It had to be over 100 people on this particular day due to a concert that was performing hours earlier. There’s hardly any elbow room inside. People all sweaty, tight clothes and ballers. It was ladies night. The things you saw probably would drive the average man crazy! Green eyes and Geneva were in VIP sipping on Henny. Green eyes was just getting his feet wet to becoming a Top Dog in the game and boy did the haters come. Geneva turns and say:

Hey Bae, why is dude looking at you all funny and shit and tryin’ to play it off as if nobody sees his punk ass?! Geneva states.

Man listen here, any muthafuckin body who looks at me as if they want it they can get it! Point blank and simple. Shiiid, I’m bout that life. Feel me? Besides, I’m not worried about it. Green Eyes says.

See Bae, that’s what the fuck I be getting mad about! You always think that a muthafucka won’t try you. Why is your mind like that? You need to watch out for these niggas! I’m just saying. Geneva says.

OK, OK. I’ll have Delight check this cat. Yo Delight, see what dude problem is for me, would you? Please and thank you. Green Eyes says.

Yeah, I gotcha Brody. I’m on it and been on it. All jokes aside though, you should listen to your wife. I’m just saying. Delight says. (Holding both hands up as to say it peacefully with concern).

As Delight walks away casually, Green eyes is watching his only and younger brother by three years intensively as if he’s watching his back. Delight approaches the guy watching is them and say:
