    Dr. Cheriyan is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God and has been a Worship Leader and Choir Director for over 15 years. He completed his Masters degree in Worship Studies at the University of Valley Forge. He is also a physician, who after graduating, dedicated his career in education and served as the Dean and Director at an allied health school. Dr. Cheriyan currently resides in NY with his wife and two children. He continues to lead worship and is on the leadership team at a local AG church.       Who Is God and Why Do We Worship Him?

      In the first book of the Bible, Genesis, the very first verse says, In the beginning God. The Bible begins with God. In the very last book of Revelation, the last chapter says, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. In the beginning there was God, and in the end there is God. He is infinite. God exists everywhere (omnipresent), knows everything (omniscient), and has all power and authority (omnipotent). This amazing and awesome God created us in His image. The Creator of the universe created us, so that we could be with Him. What an amazing concept. So what can we do? We can offer Him all our praises and worship the almighty
