About this ebook

This book takes a brief look at the biblical characteristics of God and the the biblical characteristics of man. After the groundwork is established, we have a foundation and standard to attain: the Christian character. We are all commanded to adopt Gods way and forsake our way. Furthermore, my book looks at the means by which we experience religious awakening and revival by the Word. Finally, knowing that Gods word is paramount in our lives shows us that we are colaborers in Jesuss ministry.

The last few chapters are pertaining to the struggles, cares, and hopes we ought to have as Christians adopting Gods characteristics in this generation through the workmanship of his hands.

Kal Czotter

Hello, my name is Kal Czotter. My walk down this path all started seven years ago. I truly and sincerely wanted to have a purpose in my life. I was confused and frustrated in my spiritual Christian walk, not knowing what I was to do and standing idle. So I prayed and prayed hard that I could bring hope to the helpless and encouragement to the one who is in despair. As I read God’s Word, I found out that there is such a person that does this already throughout the whole Earth: his name is Jesus. So I prayed that I could have the chance to colabor in his ministry of seeking and saving the lost scattered sheep of his fold. I could not read or write. I was a grade 9 dropout, so the Lord instructed me to go back to school and get to grade 12. It took three years, and I did this at age 29. In the midst of those three years, I wrote some biblical papers, and my teacher encouraged me to proceed in my writing—he liked my papers. So I wrote my first book, A Relationship Is Christ (2012). Then after I graduated and finished my first book, I went to work but became ill and had to go on disability. But this was a true blessing because I submerged myself in my writing for the next five years and wrote several books, yet to be published. The next step was to get the papers out for all the people to see. So I worked on the publishing of my next book, The Lord Is Our Saviour, and this is my third book, Characteristics of a Christian.

The Characteristics and Identity of a Christian

    The Biblical Characteristics of God
    Chapter 1

God is Good, Loving, Forgiving, Merciful, and Peaceable. He is full of Grace and Patience. He is Compassionate, and Faithful. He is Perfectly, Righteous, Holy, and Pure. He is Gentle, Comforting, and slow to Anger and Generous. He is Kind and Truthful. He is Righteously Wrathful, Righteously Angry, Righteously Jealous, Righteously Vengeful, and He is Righteously Just. These are some of Special Revelations of the Biblical Characteristics of God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

GOD IS GOOD: (Psalm 25:8) ⁸ Good and upright is the Lord; therefore, he instructs sinners in the way (Psalm 34:8) ⁸ Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! (Psalm 100:5) ⁵ For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 106:1) ¹ Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

GOD IS LOVING: (John 3:16) ¹⁶ "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (Romans 8:39) ³⁹ nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 5:8) ⁸ but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

     But, as it is written,

"What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,

nor the heart of man imagined,

what God has prepared for those who love him"---

(Ephesians 2:4-5) ⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, ⁵ even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ---by grace you have been saved--- (1 John 4:16) ¹⁶ So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

GOD IS FORGIVING: (Psalm 86:5) ⁵ For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. (Matthew 6:14-15) ¹⁴ For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, ¹⁵ but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 9:5-6) ⁵ For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'? ⁶ But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins---he then said to the paralytic--- Rise, pick up your bed and go home." (1 John 1:9) ⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    GOD IS MERCIFUL: (Psalm145:9) 9 The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. (Nehemiah 9:27) 27 Therefore you gave them into the hand of their enemies, who made them suffer. And in the time of their suffering they cried out to you and you heard them from heaven, and according to your great mercies you gave them saviors who saved them from the hand of their enemies. (Hebrews 8:12) ¹² For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more (Matthew 5:7) ⁷ Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. (Lamentations 3:22) ²² The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;

GOD IS PEACEABLE: (2 John 1:3) ³ Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father's Son, in truth and love. (Luke 19:38) ³⁸ saying, Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!

(John 14:27) ²⁷ Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. (John 16:33) ³³ I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. (John 20:21) ²¹ Jesus said to them again, Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you." (Romans 5:1) 1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Romans 8:6) ⁶ For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 14:17) ¹⁷ For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans15:33) ³³ May the God of peace be with you all. Amen. (1 Corinthians 14:33) ³³ For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.

GOD IS FULL OF GRACE: (Galatians 1:3) ³ Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, (Joel 2:13) ¹³ and rend your hearts and not your garments, "Return to the LORD your God for he is gracious and merciful

    ,

slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.

(Psalm 116:5) ⁵ Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; our God is merciful. (Ephesians 2:8-9)⁸ For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, ⁹ not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (John 1:14) ¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:16) ¹⁶ For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

(John 1:17) ¹⁷ For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (Acts 15:11) ¹¹ But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just a they will" (Acts 20:24) ²⁴ But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

GOD IS PATIENT: (2 Peter 3:9) ⁹ The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. (James 5:8) ⁸ also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is hand.

(Numbers14:19) ¹⁹ Please pardon the iniquity of this people, according to the greatness of your steadfast love, just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt until now." (Psalm 13:5) ⁵ But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. (1 Timothy 1:16) ¹⁶ But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.

GOD IS COMPASSIONATE: (Psalm 103:13) ¹³ As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him. (Isaiah 49:13) ¹³ Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing! For the LORD has comforted his people and will have compassion on his afflicted. (Micah 7:19)

    ¹⁹

He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sin into the depths of the sea.

GOD IS FAITHFUL: (1 Chronicles 16:34) ³⁴ Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! (1 John 1:9) ⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (Hebrews 3:6) ⁶ but Christ is faithful over God's house as a son. And we are his house if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope (2 Timothy 2:12-13) ¹² if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; ¹³ if we are faithless, he remains faithful---for he cannot deny himself.

(2 Thessalonians 3:3) ³ But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. (1 Thessalonians 5:24) ²⁴ He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) ¹³ No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

(1 Corinthians 1:9) ⁹ God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

GOD IS PERFECT: (Psalm 18:30) ³⁰ This God---his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him (Psalm 19:7) ⁷ The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure making wise the simple; (Matthew 5:48)

    ⁴⁸

You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

(Deuteronomy 32:4) ⁴ "The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he. (2 Samuel 22:31) ³¹ This God---his way is perfect the word of the LORD PROVES TRUE; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. (Psalm 50:2) ² Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth. (Psalm 119:95-98) ⁹⁵ The wicked lie in wait to destroy me, but I consider your testimonies.⁹⁶ I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad.⁹⁷ Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day ⁹⁸ Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me.

GOD IS RIGHTEOUS: (Psalm 7:11) ¹¹ God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day. (Psalm 11:7) ⁷ For the LORD is righteous; he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face. (Psalm 119: 144) ¹⁴⁴ Your testimonies are righteous forever; give me understanding that I may live. (Isaiah 41:10) ¹⁰ fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

GOD IS HOLY: (Leviticus 20:7) ⁷ Consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, for I am the LORD your God. (Psalm 99:5) ⁵ Exalt the LORD our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he! (Psalm 99:3) ³ Let them praise your great and awesome name! Holy is he (Psalm 111:9) ⁹ He sent redemption to his people; he has commanded his covenant forever Holy and awesome is his name! (Psalm 145:17) ¹⁷ The LORD is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works.

GOD IS PURE: (Psalm 12:6) ⁶ The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times. (Psalm 19:8) ⁸ the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes (Matthew 5:48) ⁴⁸ You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Romans 12:2) ² Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

GOD IS GENTLE: (Matthew 11:28-29) ²⁸ Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Psalm 18:35) ³⁵ You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great.

(Jeremiah 11:19) ¹⁹ But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter. I did not know it was against me they devised schemes, saying, Let us destroy the tree with its fruit let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more. (2 Corinthians 10:1) 1 I, Paul, myself entreat you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ---I who am humble when face to face with you, but bold toward you when I am away! ---

GOD IS SLOW TO ANGER: (Nehemiah 9:17) ¹⁷ They refused to obey and were not mindful of the wonders that you performed among them, but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But you are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.

GOD IS THE GREAT COMFORTER: (Psalm 86:17) ¹⁷ Show me a sign of your favor, that those who hate me may see and be put to shame because you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me. (Matthew 5:4)

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted (2 Corinthians 1:34) ³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, ⁴ who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

GOD IS GENEROUS: (Acts 14:17) 17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy."

(Acts 15:6-9) 6 The apostles and elders met to consider this question. 7 After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: "Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. 8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 (Cor 8:7) 7 But just as you excel in everything --- in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us see that you also excel in this grace of giving. (Eph 1:15-18) 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. (Eph 5:20) 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Col 1:12-14) 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

GOD IS KIND: (Mark 8:38) If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels.(Isa 54:8) In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you, says the Lord your Redeemer. (Jer 9:24) 24 but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the Lord.

(Acts 14:17) 17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy."

(Rom 2:4) 4 Or do you
