About this ebook

Poetry Rendering from the Heart is full of impassioned, spiritual, and emotive poetry that transcends time. It has an intense variety of poetry and real-life moments that can bring tears to your eyes, and make you smile at that same time too, along with joyful reminders of the peace in knowing the greatest comforter of all, Jesus. _ is book will surely touch your mind, heart, and soul with the poems of love and loss entwined with real-life tributes, fantasy, and a bit of humor to whet your appetite as well.

These poems span over forty years, with writings from the heart of a youth, as in the poem At Night (1976) to the present time. Thus, it reveals the poets spirit through poems like About My Love, Broken Jesus, and Reflections of a Life Well Lived. In a world filled with modern technology, fears, and uncertainty, this unadorned poetry book will keep you focused from within the quiet promise of faith and hope. With a common message that shines throughout the darkest and brightest of poems, the poems are inspired by love, nature, family, and friends. And the authors personal prayer is that the book of poems will fill you with inspiration, blessings, and delight. Thank you, Lavender Rose.

Thoughts by My Best Friend, Gino E. Lazzari

    Introduction

Poetry Rendering from the Heart is very intimate to me, and I would like to dedicate it to the love of my life, soul mate, best friend, and husband, Gino, who inspired me to write this book of poetry. I met my beloved by chance after a turbulent time in my life when I had almost given up on love altogether. I will never forget my little sister Anna’s words during that dark time in my life. Simply put, she said, Rosie, always remember this: God has a plan for you. I believe that now with all my heart, because just a few years later in November 2000, as destiny would have it, I met Gino.

I happened to be singing karaoke in a nondescript place on Gratiot Avenue called Cracker Jacks. That night I found the surprise that changed my life forever, and now my dream has come true. Finally I can put together my writings in this, my very first published book.

This passion to write poetry for me seems to have started from my earliest poem, called Spring, which was chosen to appear in the Kaiser Elementary
