About this ebook
Glade A. Myler
I was born in Logan, Utah, in 1947 and raised in Cornish, Utah. I served a mission for my church in California, where I worked with the Hispanics and learned Spanish. I married Carolyn Morgan in 1970. I graduated from Utah State University in 1971 with a BA in Spanish and minors in English, German, and music. I worked in a business for a number of years and then obtained a juris doctor from Brigham Young University in 1981 and have worked as an attorney for over thirty years in various governmental agencies. I am currently semiretired from the law. I have five children and twelve grandchildren and have lived in Carson City, Nevada, for nearly twenty-five years. I speak four languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German, in order of fluency. I read those languages and speak some, but read French and Italian. I began writing poetry in college at USU but became serious about it in the 1980s. I am involved in music and play the organ for my church and direct the church choir.

About the Author
Preface
W ords are magical when put together to create one of the many forms of communication. They help us to order our world, our universe which we are introduced to at birth. Although each word may serve a particular purpose when first used, over the years, words, through usage, take on additional meanings and nuances. In addition, words, if used too frequently, can become mere placeholders or slangw, and even may lose meaning altogether. For example, the word like usually means to enjoy or have an affinity for something,
or it is used as a comparative word to show similarities among
