Secrets of the Betrayed: Willow Island
()
About this ebook
Teenage betrayals on Willow Island are not the typical childish ways but spooky and unthinkable. Secrets of the Betrayed follows the story of young teenagers that are sent to a boot camp because of some bad things that they have done. They are not able to share what they have done to anyone, but why they have been sent there is not what anyone will think.
Sammie, Trevor, and Emma are best friends and are all sent to the same boot camp, and when they get there, they meet some others that convince them to escape to Willow Island with them. When they do, they find out that they all have been sent there for the same situation, and that doesn't make it any better, especially when they meet Carrie.

Chapter 1
This is amazing. I have friends that support me to the fullest, Sammie thought while he sat in his bed and thought about the camp he and his friends were going to for a couple of weeks for the bad things they had done. Sammie was thirteen, and his friends were all in the same age. It was not every day that a teenager would get sent to a boot camp—well, at least it was unusual to him.
While Sammie sat on his bed, throwing his soccer ball up in the air and catching it again, Trevor, Sammie’s friend, burst through the door, and Sammie stood up.
Hey, Sammie boy, your mom let me in and told me you were up here,
Trevor said.
So are you ready for boot camp?
Sammie asked.
Well, if it gets me away from my sisters, and plus, I don’t think we have a choice,
Trevor said with a grin on his face.
Trevor smiled, and Sammie grabbed his bags.
Hey, why don’t you just ride with me and my mom? It will save your mom some time, and she’s always busy as you know,
Trevor said.
Well, all right, if that makes everyone happy,
Sammie said while he walked to the door.
They both walked out of the room and down the stairs, where Sammie’s mom and his little sister, Lauren, sat at the table, waiting to take Sammie to the bus.
Hey, Mom, is it all right if Trevor’s mom just takes me?
Sammie asked.
Yes, just have Trevor’s mom call me when you get there,
Susan said as she stood up and hugged Sammie.
All right. Bye, Mom, Lauren,
Sammie said as he walked out the door.
As Sammie and Trevor walked out the door, Sammie saw Emma, who was a friend of both Sammie and Trevor, in the car.
You didn’t tell me Emma was riding with us!
Sammie shouted with excitement.
Yeah, I forgot to tell you. I wanted both of my best friends to ride with me,
Trevor said.
They got into the car and drove off and started driving straight to the bus stop; they didn’t want to be late to the bus stop. As soon as they got to the parking lot where they were supposed to meet, the bus wasn’t there, so that was where they sat until the bus arrived.
Trevor looked into the rearview mirror and remembered that people used to think that he and Sammie were twins. They both had short brown hair and blue eyes.
Emma was quieter than usual.
She had brown eyes and short dirty-blond hair, but it was enough to be put into a ponytail. She did so while they were in the car. She had a little bit of freckles on each side of her cheeks. All three of them had been friends since the first grade, and they did almost everything together.
Sammie started to get a bad feeling about this boot camp, but he knew he had to go and get it over with. Nobody could tell what they were going to the boot camp for because that was what the judge wanted.
He had never been there before, though he had heard things about it and had heard that it was a tough camp. The buses finally arrived after about ten minutes. They grabbed their suitcases and bags and walked toward the bus. Emma started to walk into the bus; she wasn’t paying attention to where she was going and accidentally bumped into another girl that had long brown hair and green eyes.
Watch it, you freak!
the girl said as she pushed her out of the way and walked in the bus.
What was that about, Emma?
Trevor asked while he put his hand out to let her first on the bus.
Emma hesitated. That’s Amber. She doesn’t like me or something,
Emma answered while she walked to the back of the bus.
Trevor shrugged his shoulders and walked to the back of the bus, where Emma was sitting. Sammie followed and sat next to them. The seat was large enough for all three of them. There were four buses full of
