Spirit Move Me - Angela Coon Lewis

    Introduction

Prepare for the journey, DearOne. Think about places you’ve been. The destination is spine tingling. You’ve made the best laid plans. You will most certainly arrive!

Well, this trip is a slight-bit different. The destination is vital; but, not the most important part. This time, it is the journey … the process of living in each day that will renovate, restore, and move you.

This book will give you easy to read, short, sacred, personal letters based on scripture to add spark and pull to your stride.

    • Let these letters speak to you individually, a personal note of insight meant to speak to you right where stand.

    • Let the unique glow begin to shine through your skin as you are a spiritual being.

    • Respond by giving your cells permission to know their Maker.

    Hello, Radiant One!

‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.’ Proverbs 3:5

Think back to three years ago.

Where were you? What were you doing?

Would you have dreamed that you would be where you are today? Look at all Father God has brought you through. Would you have even believed it if someone would have told you that on this date, you would be here?

Beloved, He is the God of your future as well as your forgiven past. Can you release your fears, your worries, and your anxious thoughts to Him for the hours of this day, knowing from your history of walking with Him, OK Father, if you brought me through that, you will walk me through the hours of this day. It takes an active decision to release your worries to Him. And, Dearheart, that is active faith!

He is already in the places you will go today. He is waiting on you with

    arms

    wide

    open.

    Spirit, move us.

Swaying in Him, join me, Fellow Follower.

‘The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.’ Job 33:4

Sitting right here in the quiet.

    Alone with God Most High.

    Undivided attention.

    God and me.

No distractions. The rest of the world must wait. Right now, Father God and I are in a fully focused exchange.

    Glory.

    Thankful.

    Resting.

Breathing His authority in over every concern. Held.

Thank You, Jesus. Glory. Strength, and Power, and Spirit of the Holy, pouring gently over each one …. into each one …releasing the fears. Releasing the strongholds.

    Love, unconditional.

    Fresh.

    Totally forgiving.

    Mmm. Spirit, move us.

You are a Miracle, you know!

Be strong; do not fear! Here is your God; vengeance is coming. God’s retribution is coming; He will save you. Isaiah 35:4

It takes dogged courage to be really alive and let ourselves be called. Crossing the battle-line of my way or His way is always laced with a riot of amplified senses and heart hammered pounding. The interesting thing is that once you press through, your growth outweighs any regret. When we cross over into eternity, there will be no regret for choosing the walk through the fire with and for God Most High.

You know what you need to do, Dearheart.

    Yes, you know.

Cherish that part of you that is timid. Stop saying I shouldn’t feel this. Know that you know that you are growing; closing in on the edge, daring to move into the unknown, because that is where God’s best is waiting.

    Calling.

    Waiting.

    Move.

    Spirit, move us.

Your day has purpose, Dearest One,

‘David appointed some of the Levites to be ministers before the ark of the Lord, to celebrate the Lord God of Israel, and to give thanks and praise to Him.’ 1 Chronicles 16:4

We are part of an ancient tradition; one of giving thanks. I love it that the holiday is not called

    Thanks-taking or

    Thanks-keeping.

    It is Thanksgiving.

There is an attitude that is given to us by the Holy of Holies …

He provides. And, we say, ‘awe yes, Lord-Thank you’.

And, when we do, we stay intimately connected to those who patiently worked the ground before us, and to those that will follow for whom we are seeding the way.

    Ancient tradition.

    Spirit, move us.

Wisdom is seeking you out this morn, Sweetheart!

‘Jacob went on his way and God’s angels met him.’ Genesis 32:1

We humans (ugh) have this incredible knack for working ourselves up into a ghastly terror over things that could (but most likely will NEVER) happen. We can keep ourselves stuck, tangled up in our shorts, unable to move for ages.

Dearheart, if your knowledge about the ways of God Most High is shallow, you will not be nourished enough to move when He calls you to your next big adventure with Him.

If your soul remains untested, nothing more can occur in your life.

The darkest days, those that you are drained and spent, and heavy, those are the seasons you and I grow deep roots in our Creator. They are the seasons that deliver up the work in you. God has a plan to deliver you through.

    Led,

    guarded,

    protected,

    hemmed in on all sides.

Tap down your fears so faith can rise up and do the work.

    Spirit, move us.

    Annn-gelll-aaaah

    Greetings, Fellow Sojourner!

‘But God said, "No. Your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will confirm My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his future offspring.’ Genesis 17:19

Annngelllaah. My grandmother, ‘Mom Reinking’, is the only one who ever called me by my given name consistently. I loved hearing her drawing out the love-saturated syllables.

    Slow.

    Careful.

I can hear her voice now.

Beloved, your name sets you apart. It has been appointed to you by The Everlasting Father. For others, your name triggers memories. It stirs them in the thought of you…your Divinely given individuality, your traits, your unique personality. For some a name defines the outdoors, nature, for others, air, sky, sunlight, trees; for others, music, tone, sound; and for still others, color, form, shadows, paint, clay. For some, paper, pencils, books fill the calling of your name.

The sound of a name pulls to mind the soul of another—

    their walk,

    their dance,

    their peace,

    their past and future.

Each of us has God-Breathed nutrition for our soul. Your Divinely appointed name tells your story in Him.

    Ponder that a while.

    Spirit, move us.

    Blessed, Beautiful Creature, listen!

‘Let me experience Your faithful love in the morning,

    for I trust in You.

Reveal to me the way I should go because I long for You.

    Rescue me from my enemies, Lord;

I come to You for protection.

Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God.

May Your gracious Spirit lead me on level ground.’

    Psalm 143:8-10

SweetSoul, you need to know that the deepest work in you is also the darkest. Each of us, you and me, must understand that the enemy is real. Satan is real. Without knowing and acknowledging the enemy’s presence, we will be unable to wiggle safely without being devoured.

To sense the enemy’s ways is to become a mature animal in Christ. Because, when we recognize the destruction he is trying to unravel in us, we can either choose to move into the destruction, or choose to be led by the Holy Spirit, back into His arms of shelter.

It is what it is, Dearheart.

    Play smart.

    Spirit, move us.

Great day to be God’s Child, isn’t it?

‘especially because of the extraordinary revelations. Therefore, so that I would not exalt myself, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to torment me so I would not exalt myself.’ 2 Corinthians 12:7

I adore Paul for reminding me that it’s awesome to be awkward, that I don’t always have the exact right thing to say… and that the gifts I have inside are all that is needed right now, for me, and those whose hearts are brushed.

I believe leadership is giving ourselves the okay to be powerfully God’s child, or His chosen one,—as the canoe on the river, traveling in the sun alongside other beautiful floating crafts.

Even if we don’t always know where we’re going…

even if we have a broken
