Summary
Preface
As more and more IT organizations are embracing Agile to deliver products and service offerings to customers, the challenges remain on some key questions. How do I better manage by product backlog? How do I run parallel overlapping sprints and effectively manage depended stories cross sprints? How do I better plan release processes? How IT can deliver business value in a most effective way while managing change control and while good governance is in place? How micro and macro level business and IT delivery frameworks can harmonize so that they make sense in enterprise level? How quality assurance can mesh into the true agile value circle so that quality of the product meets business’s expectations? We will take a deeper dive into these challenging topics.
Introduction
Architecting and Orchestrating Agile focuses not only on the day to day agile activities and people interaction, but also focuses on the designing aspects of Agile. And it starts with Program and Portfolio stakeholders’ alignment of strategic themes, driving clarity with business and architectural Epics and how that fits down to program level tactical planning. The leadership must make sure that the technology team understand the business value of a product feature and do anything possible to keep the development cost down. And at the same time, the business and product owners should understand the technology that help them to function better and solve business problems effectively. This emergence is a true gain for an agile organization.
