    About this ebook

    This book is not a how to or paint by the numbers handbook on small-group ministry. This is more of a formalization of a journal of experiences and my thoughts of them in nearly three decades of helping and leading small-group ministries. This book was written in a more general fashion to give the reader more of a sense of freedom to interject his or her own thoughts on how to incorporate many of the examples and ideas presented here.

    In over twenty years of being a part of building dynamic ministries of all sizes and functionalities, I had a lot to say and even more to share. One of my most inspiring memories was being a part of a lukewarm church of less than four hundred members, which eventually grew to over several thousand in attendance on any given Sunday, inside of ten years! I was part of a church-planting movement that planted well over two hundred churches in thirty years, with tens of thousands of faithful members worldwide. I am currently enjoying more of a consultant role here with my family in central New York. I am still dreaming and working toward ministries growing internally as well as externally. To God be the glory!
