About this ebook

Our world now and throughout history has had conflicting accounts of the nature of God and man's relationship to this cosmic deity. These conflicts have wrecked havoc within the societies of humanity to dangerous levels. Mankind has relied upon his sacred and canonized scriptures to provide doctrinal absolutes for his religions, but these absolutes differ and therefore cannot possibly all be correct, at least in specific contexts. However, there exist a very mysterious book circulating worldwide that does have specific, detailed, and consistent answers to all of our questions. The origin of this book is steeped in mystery and no human author has claimed ownership to its teachings which cover 2097 pages of intensive reading and exhaustive information. This book is known as the Urantia Book and has been placed in the public domain. The Urantia Book takes us from the conceptual locations within our segregated religious heritage and correctively re-calibrates our various belief systems which have been unavoidably limited and distorted by our world-views throughout human history. After its conceptual enhancements and adjustments, the Urantia Book enlarges such informational details into an elevation of more exact universal levels of perception as an advancement of cosmic truth. "Consider What the Angels Say" takes this expansive and intricately complicated book and presents a timesaving presentation of its teachings and gently correlates it with Christian doctrines and other religions as well as human philosophy and knowledge. In this book, the following questions will be answered.

What exactly is God and how does this phenomenon relate to infinite reality, the time and space cosmos, other spiritual beings, and our world? Exactly what is the Godhead Trinity and why is it a necessary foundation for the existence of universal reality? What are angels and spiritual principalities? What are their levels and types, and how do they interface and interact between supernatural and human situations? How does the historical Jesus Christ fit into the spiritual dimensions of reality. How is he related to the one eternal God and how is Jesus an integral part of our soul salvation? How was man physically created and what accounts for the variances in human biological races and how does this correlate with the theory of evolution? What is the nature of the human soul and how is it translated into the eternal spiritual realities and how does it exist beyond death and what is its destiny? How did mankind come to develop and organize his cultures and what part did supernatural spiritual beings play in the formulations of man's religious doctrines? Why has there been so much tragedy, hardship, war, disease, and social discord throughout our history? What is the nature of sin and why does evil even exist. Something is not right, what went wrong?

In all of the versions of religious theologies and doctrines worldwide, no one book explains the details of these universal mysteries as completely and systematically as the Urantia Book, it is truly a gift from the angels. Consider What the Angels Say is a concentrated effort forged from the heartfelt love and concern for humanity to introduce this majestic angelic book to all who are able to receive and benefit form its supernatural information.

The great challenge to modern man is to achieve better communication with the divine Monitor that dwells within the human mind. Man’s greatest adventure in the flesh consists in the well-balanced and sane effort to advance the borders of self-consciousness out through the dim realms of embryonic soul-consciousness in a wholehearted effort to reach the borderland of spirit consciousness, contact with the divine presence. Such an experience constitutes God-consciousness, an experience mightily confirmative of the pre-existent truth of the religious experience of knowing God. Such spirit-consciousness is the equivalent of the knowledge of the actuality of sonship with God.

    Introduction

Welcome to the book Consider What the Angels Say. Come and let your mind travel into the boundaries of mystical knowledge that arches over what mankind has established from his traditional religious writings. Herein reveals many of the unanswered questions that keep you up at night such as what happens when you die and how does your soul get to heaven, and what is hell? Other questions such as whether the story of creation is true and how does it relate to the theory of evolution? What about reincarnation, deja vu, extraterrestrials, ancient civilizations and life on other worlds? What accounts for there being so many different races of man on earth and what were the beginnings of human beings and their languages? Why are their so many different religions around the world and which one is actually true, or at least the most correct? Do animals have a soul and is there an afterlife for babies and children if they die before they understand our religions beliefs? These are just a few topics that are coordinated together and answered within various contexts.

In religious literature throughout the ages man has written about what God says. Historical writings that reach the recognition of a certain profound level of established criteria have been canonized by our spiritual leaders as holy scriptures considered to be direct messages from God himself. Sacred scriptures are seen as a flow of divine inspiration in which the spirit of God impresses upon the minds of our prophets, apostles, and sages the sensation of what should be said. The famous biblical phrases Thus saith the Lord or An angel of the Lord came to me saying are powerful statements asserting that such statements are beyond the specific writings of man, and millions of people around the world believe such claims to be valid.

In Christianity as recorded in the New Testament canon, the Apostle Paul testifies that he witnessed a vision of Jesus that launched his message and doctrines that are still considered sacred and divine by the Christian religion. In Islam, the angel Gabriel communicated with Muhammad and revealed to him the one God known as Allah and thus the Qur’an is held to be firm truth throughout the world of Muslims. In numerous other religious writings there have been claims of superhuman contacts which have generated a wide range of specific differences of belief, contextual identities, and social movements. But imagine, what if a situation occurred where angels and other spiritual beings from the heavens who witness firsthand those celestial realities as well as our world civilizations and religions were given permission to reveal portions of that knowledge to us. Well, this is exactly the claim made by the mysterious Urantia Book and the individuals who were privy to the phenomenon of its materialization on our world. This Urantia Book known as the Fifth Epochal Revelation to humanity clearly contains specific and detailed information that no human being could possibly know by natural means. So the question arises, could this be for real?

This massive book came out quietly in the 1950s and has the peculiar distinction of officially being without a human author. From a mysterious and unrevealed method of delivery, a group of individuals organized this superhuman information and had it printed and made available to the public without advertisement or specific connections or endorsements from any existing religious institutions or spiritual leaders. Because of this mystically silent introduction to the world, it has been slowly growing below the radar of society and the critical eye of theological experts. But recently with the advent of the Internet, it is just now beginning to be more widely known, mostly by scattered individuals and others with little to no religious preference. The original Urantia Book is a 2097 page explanatory text that covers virtually everything we can know about our world and the universe, man’s relationship to deity, the original reason for the ministry of Jesus, and the process and nature of the birth of the human immortal soul. Because of the expanse and complexity of the Urantia Book, this writing is an attempt to condense and make a time-efficient approach to its teachings and message. But let it be made clear, this work is not intended to replace, reinvent, or rewrite the Urantia Book. Indeed, there is no substitute for the way the Urantia Book is worded and the completeness and specifics of its own explanations. Therefore, this is only an effort to introduce the Urantia Book and to promote its value for religious philosophical thought to those who are unfamiliar with its profound depth of knowledge.

One should also realize that the nature of the content of the Urantia Book is not simple. The explanations within its pages brings a student into an extremely large and universal framework of concepts within a multilevel context. Because of the extended levels of cosmic explanations therein, it necessitates a certain contextual and definitive unfolding of new and unique terms and educates its students into many different and unfamiliar concepts and specific information as well as connecting numerous relationships of a theological nature. So realize from the start, this work and the Urantia Book itself will not coincide with all of your belief systems you have come to know from your experiences in religious education, doctrines, and social traditions. In order to reveal its comprehensive deliberation of information within its universal and cosmic scope, the teachings of the Urantia Book cannot completely support the commonly agreed upon explanations established within the restricted developments of our regional and socialized parameters of our world’s historical and contemporary theological definitions. No one theology will find itself in total harmony with all of the teachings of the Urantia Book, yet all religious doctrines will recognize bits and pieces of their beliefs reemphasized and placed within a larger overall cosmic framework. The Urantia Book takes us from the eternal and infinite down through the finite and partial realities and weaves together the connective phenomena between such differentials.

In the case of Christianity, there is information pertaining to biblical scriptures that the Urantia Book restates as universe truth, that is, concepts of which the inspiration of the scriptural authors understood and were on point about. Other areas of the Urantia Book explain various misunderstandings of concepts, precepts, beliefs, and details on our part that became unavoidable due to our earlier limitations of extraplanetary and universal knowledge as well as the restrictions put on spiritual beings set to the task of revealing truth during the knowledge framework of our past ages. It is important to realize that the Urantia Book speaks with its own self-validating authority and does not compromise with nor rely upon any existing theology. Indeed, some of the cardinal doctrines of mainstream Christianity are not supported in the knowledge that was revealed to us by the Urantia Book. However, when the historical and current knowledge of man’s religious establishments differ, the Urantia Book provides precise explanations as to why and how such differences developed over time and became distorted by the complexities of language translations as well as the influx of various cultural influences. At the same time, in an effort to coordinate our present understandings with enhanced, enlightened, and expanded spiritual knowledge, it often positions its explanations within our concept frames of scriptures in order to establish a starting location for our reference purposes.

The Urantia Book makes no apology for its articulation of truth and it plainly states its information as the way the universe is, and if one does not accept this gift of knowledge for such concept edification, then one is certainly free to dismiss this revelatory enlightenment. The details of information revealed to us by the celestial personalities of the heavens is so complete, exact, and self-explanatory that no form of apologetics is necessary in terms of justification against separate religious interpretations. Therefore, other than the choice of words provided as the information within the Urantia Revelation, and its own explanations as to authorship, it does not and cannot objectively prove its position of truth pertaining to universe reality, so one must approach its message with the same kind of faith that is utilized in believing other writings held as true and sacred and as attached to mankind’s religious heritage.

It is also important to know the nature of this work and the approach one should be oriented when reading its pages. This represents my personal experience with the Urantia Book over my years of study, and every effort has been made to introduce its content message as correctly as possible. However, I have chosen to focus upon certain aspects of subject matters related to its theological belief systems as to God, the Trinity, human history, its development of religion, theology, and mortal soul salvation, thus, some of the Urantia Book concepts I do not attempt to address. Therefore, with respect to the entire holistic message of numerous topics which I do not cover, I cannot make a claim to be absolutely accurate on all specific items of interwoven concepts, nor do I have a perfect comprehension of some of its expanded complexities or inverse logic. Since this work has a focus directive, it must perforce situate as an incomplete explanation as related to all aspects of the Urantia Book. Also, in reading this work, it should be patiently understood that I came from the background and exposure of Christianity, and that is the only religion that I am familiar with. Hence, this work is an effort to connect and compare the teachings of the Urantia Book with the doctrinal overtones of the Christian religion and its scriptural base. Because of this fact, I cannot speak for others who would certainly come away from the Urantia Book with variating positions of understanding related to their different religious sources, doctrines and backgrounds. There is no doubt that experts of the Urantia Book will be able to take issue against and rightfully challenge certain specific personal viewpoints which I have established. But, I consider such debate a good thing because the Urantia Book needs to be critically evaluated and analyzed in order to better understand its variants from the positions of our world’s historical understandings of religious theologies. Such healthy challenges of an intellectual matrix I welcome in the hopes that efforts to understand the Urantia Book will progress forward.

In consideration that I came from the background of Christianity, I have identified and inserted various biblical scripture passages that I feel corresponds in some way as I attempt an explanation of the Urantia theological positions. Also, it should be disclosed that I connect various concepts and hypothesis together and take certain liberties of imagination, insight, and inspiration to formulate and embellish the base concepts of the Urantia Book further as they are correlated with other sources, concepts, and ideas. Therefore, much of this work contains some of my personal opinions, speculations, and cumulative theoretical projections as well.

At times I engage in story lines that deviate from the specific Urantia teachings in an effort to bring about the coordination of various possibilities and probabilities of subject matters beyond the Urantia Book that I consider relatively valuable for consideration and comparison. Also, understand that due to the sometimes complexity of different levels of reality, there will be some repetitive overlap of statements and ideas as they interact and intersect with different contextual frameworks, but in trying to explain this extraordinary book as completely as I can, such seems to be unavoidable. Also, as a note on writing style, since this work has an elaborate focus upon descriptions and explanations, I have been very liberal with punctuation, variances in grammar, and sometimes wordiness with phraseology. Because this work is a self-published endeavor, I could not generate the financial resources to have it edited by a professional. Hence, the primary emphasis of this work is to teach elevated concepts and provide a study of the Urantia Book for your contemplation and to compare with the specifics of the present knowledge of your religious theological beliefs. This effort of explaining the Urantia Book should become a learning exercise in theology, human philosophy, and the unification of the two.

In closing, with the internal claim that the Urantia Book is a revelation of supernatural knowledge, and as the challenges to the Urantia Book’s authenticity and credibility advances, only time will testify to the probability or even proof that it is a valid work of genuine angelic knowledge worthy of standing in the light of truth. A careful study of this work should reveal a coordination of the accumulation of man’s historical theology with various factors of science and logic merged together with a strength of consistency that should promote, clarify, and enhance the more probable and reasonable positions of one’s intellectual process of belief. Most importantly, it is hoped that by learning about the Urantia Book in this presentation, that you as an individual will be illuminated spiritually to draw closer in your walk with God and in the activation of loving service to your fellow man.

Below is a brief summary of the chapters in this work

    Chapter I

Here is explained the most primal foundations of reality and the nature of God’s existence and how that spans out into the universe and causes all of its realities to exist and manifest their various phenomena. It explains the nature of the centralized Trinity existence and how this reality sets the literal and unavoidable foundation for the interplay of personal and nonpersonal existence and thereby generates the way the rest of the universe creation unfolds, how it is upheld, and courses out eternal destinies of ultimate designed perfection.

    Chapter II

Here is explained the original core universe of an eternal existence and explains the nature of the spiritual beings that live therein and how this universe gives rise to the other universes of time and space that establishes the factors of experience and evolutionary development towards a divinely purposed destiny.

    Chapter III

Here is explained the seven great developmental superuniverses that orbit around the stationary eternal and core universe and how they were created in time and space as separate creations. This chapter tells us how the consciousness and reality of spiritual beings are involved in the physical materialization of the cosmos and how they are organized to minister in the creation, development, and destiny of all its finite inhabitants including human beings. You will learn of the different levels of physical, mind, and spiritual realities and how God is related to the entirety of all progress and personality growth.

    Chapter IV

Here is explained the regional universe that we dwell in and its specific Creator. You will learn of the development of things, places, and beings that live and manage its affairs, and how it comes to focus upon our world. You will come to understand how a conflict of governing interest and human design developed into the strife and evil within our system of worlds which fell upon our earth and disrupted the divine plan of our Creator Son of God and his vision for our world.

    Chapter V

Here is explained how our earth developed both materially and spiritually in the context of the greater universe. It also tells us how the spiritual head of our planet took up the banner of the Luciferin cause. It explains how the projections of our world’s destiny was modified by the biological manipulation of existing human beings of evolutionary assent and how this put our world into a state of spiritual isolation which further explains the situations that have led our world into chaos, confusion, destruction, and death. It tells of the mission of Adam and Eve and how they fell into the confusion of this ongoing rebellion and how this further distorted the biological race harmony and original mortal design on our planet. It explains how our world became divided as to spiritual leadership resulting in the consolidation and identity of the Hebrew peoples and their religious journey throughout history thereby cultivating our world’s traditional theologies of priesthood, rituals, and sacrifice.

    Chapter VI

Here is explained the special supernatural mission of a spiritual ministry of one called Melchizedek who was mentioned in the Christian Bible as being a mentor to Abraham. This was a mission to compensate for the default and absence of Adam and Eve and to help correct and advance our world from the turmoil and confusions of the planetary rebellion and its isolation. This Melchizedek incarnation by his teachings to Abraham was designed to foster through Abraham’s descendants generations of people who would expand the truth of monotheism to the rest of the world. The ministry and presence of this divine spiritual being was understood in Hebrew scriptures as the connective reality of God to Abraham, therefore, the teachings and covenant of Melchizedek became the words and messages of the Lord God for the future Israel. The aftermath of this relationship generated the Old Testament scriptures and established the theological and historical basis of Judaism.

    Chapter VII

Here is explained the coming of our regional universe’s Creator and literal Son of God as the incarnation of Jesus of Nazareth and how his mission was established within the greater more expansive universe situations related to universal advancement. It presents the story of his life and the familiar events of biblical significance, but gently adjust some of the misunderstandings that our spiritual leaders have naturally made with respect to their limited human knowledge and situational interpretations inherently related to socially framed and informational restricted concepts of earlier times in history. The true reason for the ministry of Jesus is identified with unique clarity and within the reference frame of our world’s circumstances in relationship to our greater universe. It further explains how the successful completion of his ministry and purpose of incarnation elevated his divine status whereby in his own sovereign authority granted by God, and all of the divine authorities between, allowed the risen and glorified Christ to intervene and override the powers and plans of Lucifer. This accomplishment of Christ begin the spiritual healing from our system on downward to our world. This success of Christ Jesus as appraised by God also provided extra grace and mercy mechanisms of a spiritual nature which helped the mind of human beings in activating their faith unto soul salvation.

    Chapter VIII

Here is explained the developments of religious concepts after Jesus ascended away from our world and explains some of the different paths of theological doctrines invented by our fathers of theology which has provided the basis for our world’s separate camps of doctrinal beliefs and evolved into our institutional and theological religions. It tells us about the development of the Christian religion through the powerful influence of the Apostle Paul and how the Occidental and Middle Eastern societies parted ways theologically, culturally, and philosophically. It tells us of the completion of the ministry of Jesus, and how the arrival his Spirit of Truth at Pentecost changed the spiritual economy of the earth and how the influence of our planetary Holy Spirit interfaces with the human soul. These realities also produced added restrictions upon the rebel demonic spirits to impact upon individual minds in terms of possession, but at the same time, this chapter explains how human socialization of an institutional nature became a political motivator for historical discord and tragedies in the name of man’s generated religions.

    Chapter IX

Here is explained some of the details of life after death and how the soul is born by means of a joint union of the temporal and material human mind with the eternal spirit-life of God. It explains and coordinates how the interpretations of historical scriptures tie in with these advanced concepts and details. It tells us the different stages of death and resurrection and what it really means to be born again as related to the more esoteric teachings of Jesus and his parables. Here we are given advanced insights into the method of personality survival, the errors of human folklore related to such, and conceptual possibilities for the conditions of consciousness survival after death as our physical body terminates our human level of mind.

    Chapter X

Here is explained to us the future destiny of the various levels of universal reality and the long-range purpose of the overall cosmic creation in relationship to ourselves and other spiritual beings. It explains the coordination of time and space changes in relationship to the stationary attributes of infinity and how reality is increasingly becoming perfected and more real as that which is partial and incomplete disappears. It explains some ideas as to the separate dimensions of a multiverse becoming unified into a holistic reality generated in the mind of the one eternal God and how the universe has no choice but come to terms with the perfected will and spiritual directives of God.

    Chapter XI

Here is explained how the angelic revelation of the Urantia Book coordinates with our established religions and why it has arrived into existence on our world presently and for the near future. It touches upon some of the general information available to the public concerning its origins and authorship as well as some of the views of skeptics. Lastly, it tells us of the promise of the eventual return of Jesus Christ and how the Urantia Book and other related circumstances are forming the foundations in preparation for this sometime future event. There is in this final presentation a message of hope and encouragement for the conditions of our world and the elevation of human societies as the satanic influences come to an end here on earth and as they will become eclipsed with the presence of the returning Jesus. It assures all of us of the promise of God’s presence in and through Jesus as he guides humanity to a new world with a bright and spiritually profitable future where man will learn war no more and will come into the light of God’s grace and power.

    Chapter I

    The Foundations of Reality

Throughout the ages of history, we as human beings have tried to put together various theories that attempt to explain what we experience as reality and develop an understanding as to how it came to be and what, if anything, is controlling the laws of nature. We know quiet well that much of this effort is beyond the grasp of our human intellect and tools of scientific experimentation, but we do not stop trying. On a cultural and sociological level, the result of these efforts manifest as the ongoing production, evaluation, and modification of our religious belief systems and dogmas.

In the study of the Urantia Book, an explanation of reality and its relationship to a universal God is laid out in elaborate and systematic detail. To begin with, in trying to understand what the Urantia Book teaches, we must go down to the original and foundational levels of what pre-reality is and how existence at levels before time and space provide the structure for emerging spiritual, mind, and material realities. We must understand that what we see, experience, and consciously process as realities are but aftereffects of an enormous culmination of a vast matrix of cause and effect sequences that only partially manifest a greater sum total of the eventual final stabilization of universe destiny. We must further understand that the very limited slice of reality that we are conscious of, and our consciousness itself, is ultimately connected to absolutely every other particle and phase of the fixation of infinity as a single unit of God’s unchanging existence. So now we shall explore some of the general teachings of the Urantia Book and attempt to put into a mental framework the deeper and more profound explanations which ultimately are destined to challenge some of the religious concepts of historical familiarity.

When we conceive of the idea of reality, we also conceive of that which we mentally perceive as not real. When we do this, we often think of the emptiness of space. But this space is also a conditional form of reality because it is space that causes reality to materialize which establishes the very aspects of manifestation. Therefore, space is primarily one negative end of the whole spectrum of reality. It is actually a withdrawal from an otherwise absolute unity of existence. This means that before space became a factor of universe manifestation, some form of spaceless phenomenon existed. In addition, when we use the term existence in particular, we are not speaking only or necessarily of perceivable reality because pure existence can be unmanifested as well. Absolute primal existence can be real without spatial manifestation, it simply is without any particular qualification. Therefore, pure existence can be apart from, before, and primal to reality manifestations, and in that aspect, also be independent from any necessary corresponding reality.

When conceiving of pure existence as being real but without manifestation or space properties, such an existence is automatically and inherently infinite because without a space association or property of pattern formations, there cannot be a defining border that provides a specific end. Such a reality is inherently outside of space and time, but such an infinite existence must first exist in order to configure infinity, in other words, only an infinite existence can effect an infinite existence. This primordial nature of the infinite must first exist in order for space and time to exist or any manifestation of reality thereof. This absolute primacy of existence is the single, only, and actual primacy of God. This primal existence would have properties beyond the constrictions of manifestation. Therefore, God at this level could be understood as nonexistent as compared with anything we would classify as reality, but at the same time, this existence as the primal nature of God is pure and undiluted reality. This original essence as pure existence then negates itself from boundless infinity and then withdraws itself from oblivion and self-limits itself into patterns of specified reality that correlates with itself to cause the emergence of primal substance, and this primal substance is called Paradise essence, or primordial essence. Once patterns originate from pure existence, we have manifested reality. This means that in terms of a perceptional manifestation, we have something instead of nothing. But this manifestation can still be without space. In other words, such a form of primal manifestation is able to have variances of nonspatial pattern meaning that it can exist within space and at the same time have greater or lesser intensities of itself without being separated by space. Such original differentials from the Infinite One can exist as a nonspatial organization without space between such organization, but ultimately, there is a point where space begins in relationship to such a pattern of identity, otherwise, there could never be any form of creation that we understand as the observable universe.

    Section 1

The Five Primary Dimensions of Total Paradise Existence

In the Urantia Book, all of the reality manifestations of all of the universe taken in its entirety sums up as all of the Paradise manifestations of all possible universal reality. This means that the ultimate universe viewed as a single reality equals all of these Paradise manifestations. Therefore, the overall definition of Paradise in general is used to mean any and all universe reality manifestations that exhibit a range of five dimensional variances which are understood as personality, spirit, mind, material, and morontia existence. Jesus referred to the continuation of self-consciousness in the post-material universe reality as dwelling in Paradise when he spoke to a man who was sharing the crucifixion experience with him as recorded in Luke 23:43. So, the total dimensions of foundational paradise reality is explained in the Urantia Book as having the following distinctions.

    1. Personality selfhood

This is the first and most primal universe reality in existence. This is a prespatial existence of pattern identity. This put plainly is the I AM of pure existence. It is the first essence of the reality of God in the universe. This I AM is a stationary focal point of universe self-identity with specific separation from any other properties of self-identity and remains stationary in relationship to all other universe manifestations that are constantly changing. Personality standing by itself requires no precedent cause or any necessary support system. It is not related to time sequentiality or space differential. Personhood reality never changes and cannot be combined into a unit with other personalities due to its static association with infinity. Therefore it inherently has the ability of self-determination of individual force direction understood as the free will movement of its internal self. The only realities that can inhibit such independent self will is the nonpersonal external forces of such self will as exercised by factors set in automatic pattern sequences. This self will of personality within the influence associations to external reality is an automatic consequence to the innate circumstance of its primacy whereby no other universe force of personality existence can interfere with its personality directive intents. Personality does not need to have spirit or mind, but such phenomena need personality to function as an expression and manipulation of such a self-contained identity. Personality’s pattern cannot be unorganized and destroyed except by the forces of God which function at the level of personality itself and organized as primal forces of spiritual life and that which can produce (create) personality existence. Personhood is static universe self-identity.

    2. Spirit existence

This is the outward manifestation of personality as it interacts with other separate realities. Spirit is the universe’s primal force, the existence that is responsible for the emergence of various post-spirit-energies. Spirit as pure universe force can function without mind or personality and as such is spirit force, meaning a force without personality related to mind, but not without the basic aspect of spirit used by an adjunct consciousness. Pure spirit is that which creates mind consciousness but itself is a pre-mind phenomenon. However, spirit joined with personality as with God and other deified realities enters the domain of a personal being and that requires mind awareness in order to make contact and specific directional changes with external realities other than the self.

    3. Mind perception

This is the reality that comes into existence as a result of the union of personality and spirit. Such a phenomenon can function with numerous combinations of supporting energy systems and is not restricted only to the biological parameters such as our human brain. Human mind is a cumulative created phenomenon directly resulting from biological brain electrochemistry and therefore represents the material relationship of consciousness. However, such a reality of human mind generates fields connecting to higher universe mind phenomena that further connects with personality and spirit which is primal and post effective to material reality. Mind is the reflective phenomenon of the personality self with an active spirit energy that results as independent self-consciousness. Spirit consciousness is real and mind seeks to interpret that realness. Mind can come and go but spirit is eternal and the duration of mind is dependent upon the spirit to continue its consciousness beyond the material reality of the human brain.

    4. Material realities

This is post-spirit energy systems that function below the speed of light and become fixed and associated with time and space as patterns that degrade into realities which are not personality, spirit, or mind. These realities of substance is of a subspiritual nature and responds automatically to unavoidable laws of cause and effect and therefore does not initiate causes as does personality, spirit, and mind. Material realities therefore are the least real of the other factors of Paradise existence. Material realities eventually lessen into the properties of empty space constituting the nothingness aspect of Paradise manifestation. Only the mind correlations functioning within the domains of material realities can perceive such realities, and spirit information processing depends upon a coordinate mind function. Material realities are not aware of other material realities and cannot choose to change another material or spiritual reality, so the material formations are not spiritually alive.

    5. Morontia dimension

This is a vast metamorphic range between material and spiritual reality that combines static personality identity, changing mind perceptions, and evolving spiritual energies. Morontia realities are functional as both the bodily manifestations of pre-spirit and the coordination with the nonspiritual patterns of manifestation to personal mind reception. In other words, the morontia dimension of reality incorporates both a body and the environment such a body interacts with. Morontia realities are established by personality, generated by mind and driven by spirit. Morontia reality is the bridge of passage from the material to the spiritual through the phenomenon of mind. Since mind sometimes involves properties of illusion, so does the morontia reality, but such illusions eventually progress toward the personality association with the more real spiritual and primal existence. The soul of human and spiritual conception exist within this range of morontia realities. This is the domain of soul birth. This means that the soul is beyond the strictly physical dimension and becomes merged with eternal spiritual energies and therefore cannot be annihilated by physical death once it becomes a real universe property of existence.

In the Urantia revelation, the universal manifestation of God is the total of Paradise, hence the overall essence of Paradise is not the personality of God. Paradise as everything includes all dimensions of the aforesaid five divisions of cosmic manifestation. This total Paradise is centralized as a distinctive place known as The Isle of Paradise which is the absolute center of all existence and establishes the central controlling hub of all forms and phases of total reality.

At the universal center of this Isle of Paradise is the concentrated reality of God as one singularity and uniformity of existence. Paradise centralized as a single form in general and as understood throughout the universe is the one primal substance of reality at the exhaustive quantum level of existence. This quantum level of existence builds up into and encompasses all universal manifestations. This means all the natures, functions, illusions, dimensions, patterns, connections, and time correlations of reality of any kind find their ultimate universal vertex at and as this central Isle of Paradise. All of these realities experienced in the universe by inverse causes will eventually trace their ultimate origin that will lead to the one substance finality of God. Therefore, God is the ultimate and first personality identity of the absolute universe and the entire universe constitutes the expansive phenomenon of his body.

As the center of universal existence presents the phenomenon of God, his dwelling abode is unavoidably stationary and cannot move its eternal relationship to the total universe. In a somewhat unusual comparative concept, our bodies are moved by our brain, but our brain itself cannot move from the encasement within the skull. Our brain delegates its electrical energies to the muscles so they can move the location of the brain in relationship within the external environment. In a like manner, God’s spirit moves the universe through the delegation of its energies into the differential domains of the finite and such associated personality functions. In a conceptual framework, God is the centralized consciousness or brain of the universe. In like manner, just as we cannot actually see ourselves except by reflection or image, one of the reasons that God created the universe was so he could see himself and experience what his reality is capable of and has the expression for. If it were possible for another personality to be infinite, such a personality would see God as only one existence. But this is an impossibility since infinity is its own infinity. Because of God’s nature of encompassing infinity, it is impossible for subinfinite beings to actually perceive his oneness since in the ultimate sense, they are an internal part of his oneness. Therefore God is made manifest by the technique of formulating personality units that utilize the other factors of Paradise reality so such manifestation can be individually and specifically perceived. Thus, personality is established to present this infinity to the finite manifestations of reality so that the finite manifestations of reality can return such revelations to the infinite.

To human philosophy, infinity signifies an abstract meaningless concept employed in our attempt to grasp a theoretical exhaustion of what either does or can factually exist. This infinity oblivion of possible potentials becomes factually actual and perceivable because it is captured and limited by an existence equal with infinity, that is, the selfhood of infinity. So God enacts a self-limitation of inherent infinity and thereby constricts its unavoidable and absolute source so as to generate the qualifiers of control which we have historically called God. This one actual God is designated in the Urantia Book as the UNIVERSAL FATHER.

In simple fact, Paradise is all literal reality and God is the personality core of that reality. God therefore created from his I AM existence a specific focal point and pattern of personhood reality so that the rest of the universe could have a limited and relative relationship as a consequence. God is the ultimate and original personality that initiates the possibility for any other personality to exist. Therefore, the term Father defines this reality as the first personality of the universe and the giver of all other personalities. The Urantia Book states that at the top center of the Isle of Paradise, all differentials of reality becomes unified as an indistinguishable oneness in and as the Universal Father. Therefore, God did not only create differentials of reality manifestation, he is reality himself. God as the Universal Father is described as The first source and center of all things and beings, the God of all creation (Urantia Book p.21).

    Section 2

The One Absolute G O D… The Universal Father

The Universal Father is the only true God by our definitional understanding…. He is alone, there is none beside him…(Deuteronomy 4:35, 32:39, Isaiah 45:5, and Mark 12:32).

Although religious segregation seeks to label this one God within their particular description of their versions of theology, the one God of infinity is represented to our regional understandings as the highest possible human concept of the single unified and maximum cosmic personality self. In any given explanation developed and presented by designers of theology, one ultimate spirit consciousness prevails as infinite primacy, and this mental perception throughout all areas of the world and throughout all historical times has been called God by human beings. Therefore in actuality, God is beyond any particular name or label which limits and constricts this universal concept to a specific religion, geographical culture, or sacred writing. God is beyond substance, thought, or manifestation. He is beyond time and space and pervades the voids and circumference of infinity. Although he has established his own personality, he is in a larger since primordial to personality as a limitation. God the Father is the only reality that is primal to personality. God’s position of connection with and as infinity has isolated the personality factor of existence, and at that universe position of self-existence, he has isolated and established his personhood (personality). From that position, God initiates those properties of reality that prevents the whole universe from being only one personality, his own. The Urantia Book states that God in establishing his personality has thereby liberated himself from personality absolutism.

If God did not individualize, separate, and isolate his oneness of personal existence as an act of selfless love, no other personality could have ever existed and God could not have had any fellowship with any other personal beings. God could have remained the only reality in all of universal existence, but he chose to expand himself and express his beauty for the spiritual and meaning consumption of all subsequent beings.

The Universal Father occupies the infinite moment and placement of a single superconsciousness that by such position is unavoidably aware of the singleness of infinity as a stationary existence and therefore knowledgeable of all the lesser moments of all the beings and things inside such a universal manifestation. Everything that has ever happened or will happen in all possible dimensions of reality in God cannot have happened any other way because all things are universally connected into his oneness of existence. Only God can know and does know himself absolutely and completely without any distortion of self-identity. God does not know the mental disposition of faith or a belief in anything because he inherently knows all things at the first-level of contact. God himself knows that he is God and therefore cannot worship any other being higher or more primal than his own existence. He does not worship himself nor does he need worship from any other personality. He has nothing to prove to himself and neither does he have anything to prove to you. God understands the nature of himself as God, and only in that sense does he know himself as God. He is not an atheist because he knows himself to be God, that is, he believes in God because he believes in himself.

This identity absolutism of God the Father can only be shared at the infinite vertex of all universal existence by projecting internal infinity as a reflection. Therefore, the absolutism of his personality can only be shared at the center of infinity by the establishment of some coequal personality of mind factors and attributes associated with the infinite. Thus, this vertex is only able to be experienced within the trifold members of the Paradise Trinity that has the unavoidable intra-exchanges of total universe phenomena which centers all lines of reality at the central portion of the Isle of Paradise. Only at this universal position can the personality of the infinite be shared and existentially experienced.

    Section 3

GOD’s First Distinctions between the Personal and Nonpersonal Realities

From the state of God’s original primacy at the level of total absoluteness and within his grasp of control, two primary distinctions constitute the first less-than-infinite foundations and diversification of primal existence that upholds the rest of the universe and the manner in which its manifestation can unfold. Here is presented the truth that there are only two initial potential possibilities of the downward step of infinity into the domains of the finite. First is the isolation, unity, and consolidation of pure existence spawning from the Universal Father’s personality function in what the Urantia Book terms as deified reality. Deified reality is the conscious direction of personality free will. This is the causal forces of existence that are comprised of original self-consciousness. All deified realities have free will, that is, the momentum functions of personality itself. This phenomenon is the positioning of self as independent from external forced volition and is thereby uninhibited or restricted by other personalities. Personalities existing in lower planes of reality have greater and greater restrictions caused by external forces such as with the material confinements of the differentials of material cause and effect. So, in these lesser domains, the actions and consequences of free will are limited by such factors, but such does not limit or control the free will nature at the level of personality functions.

This deified reality by inevitable reaction automatically establishes undeified reality. This undeified reality is that which does not have choice or mind, therefore no spirit or conscious life. Undeified reality has no free will to cause conscious changes, but only reacts to how preexisting forces bear upon it. In the unfolding of reality into the subinfinite domain, as one form of existence comes into reality, such inevitably causes an opposite response. The deified reality is the foundation of pure spirit which may or may not be a personal energy alone, but it is always controlled by the consciousness of personality volition formulated within mind awareness. Thus, the Universal Father is the innate, original, pure, self-existent volition of the cosmos. There is no greater uninhibited force, power, or reality than the existence of God at his primordial level.

    Heading 1

    The Isle of Paradise

At the central point of undeified reality and at the universe location of God’s primal existence, there is the simultaneous static, nonmoving, nonpersonal existence known as the Isle of Paradise. This isle might be understood as pure nonspatial Paradise essence. The substance of the central isle is a monovibration of reality and contains no space within its stabilization of existence. This is to say that there is no space within the Isle of Paradise, but it does have size proportions related to external space presence. It is absolute density and provides a multidimensional gravity force which holds all universal dimensions together and as decreed and controlled by consciousness of the eternal God. At the very top center of this Isle are the three persons of deity eventually centering together as to become unified in relationship to the personality of the one Universal Father (GOD).

    Heading 2

    The Infinite Spirit

The unavoidable compliment of this undeified reality of the Isle of Paradise springing from these two first distinctions of primal existence at the level of self-contained infinity is the associative and coordinate reality of the Infinite Spirit. This universal spirit is the compensator, adjuster, coordinator, implementor, reactor, and original force forwarding outward from the eternal differential between the deified nature of the Father and the undeified nature of the Isle of Paradise. It thereby flows into the omnipresence of the universal conscious mind of deity throughout the entire universe of past, present, and yet-to-come. In a sense, one might think of the Infinite Spirit as the eternal and coordinate partner to the Universal Father and the Eternal Son that resulted from the beforetime eternal association of the Father and the Isle of Paradise. Even though the Urantia Book instructs us that no segmentation or sequence of differential time occurs within the Isle of Paradise due to its eternal nature in God, in trying to form a conceptual image using a theoretical sequencing idea, the Father and the Eternal Son with the Isle of Paradise gave rise to the Infinite Spirit, which means in a sense that this universal Spirit is the offspring of the two infinitely coordinated foundational realities of the Father and the Isle of Paradise. This is another way in which the Universal Father is an ultimate and original Father of not only what is deified or undeified, but what is ultimately real and not real. It must be understood that what is not real and never will be real, is just as much a consequence of the reality and infinite manipulations of God as realities that are considered real. In other words, that which is not real is coordinated with infinity and establishes the actualities and possibilities for all that is real. This means that what is not real is actually real and just as important and vital to reality manifestation as what we would consider things and beings that are real. Therefore, reality is created by unreality. In the material dimension, space functions as the establisher of pattern realities, and the two produce material manifestation of a specific order.

    Heading 3

    The Eternal Son

In association with both the Father and the Infinite Spirit there exists the original spirit reality on the deified side of infinity not involving the undeified reality of the Isle of Paradise, the first single and unified personality manifestation of the universe—The Eternal Son. According to the explanation of the Urantia Book, the Eternal Son having the absolute personal and spirit properties emanating from the Universal Father at the original foundations and universal center of existence caused the corresponding absolute nonspiritual and nonpersonal nature of the Isle of Paradise. The Infinite Spirit exists as an eternal and absolute coordinate reality from the existence of the Father and the Son first, and then further resolves the differentials between the Eternal Son and the Isle of Paradise in relationship to the primal existence of the Father. So to clarify again, if formulating an image of the foundational steps and levels of reality, the Father establishes the Son…… the Father in the establishing of the Son generates the differential of the Isle of Paradise…….The Father/Son relationship generates the Infinite Spirit….. the Infinite Spirit completes the original total cycle of primal existence in a return coordination, interfacing, and relationship with the Isle of Paradise.

This term SON is for our simplistic understanding meaning an existence unable to be real without first the primacy of the Universal Father. Whereas the Infinite Spirit is the first discernable personality spirit of deity that is coordinated with the Isle of Paradise, the Eternal Son is the first discernable personality spirit directly from the Universal Father, and they together establish the realities of the Infinite Spirit. The Infinite Spirit gains personality from the Father, and also does the Eternal Son, but the Eternal Son does not receive the bestowal of personality from the Infinite Spirit, neither does the Eternal Son bestow personality to the Infinite Spirit. The Universal Father is the originator of personality existence for both the Spirit and the Son.

The reality of the Son is the first explanation of universal reality in terms of a unified and single expression known in human philosophy circles as the Logos or eternal WORD. This is the true concept represented in the Christian scripture passage of John 1:1. Thus the Son is entirely identical to the Father in all deified ways in like manner as the Isle of Paradise is identical to the Father in all un-deified ways. It is because the Eternal Son exists in relationship to the Universal Father and the Infinite Spirit as deified realities and not to the Isle of Paradise that his inheritance factors in relationship to us as human personalities are closer to the Father than the Infinite Spirit. Therefore, often in theological terms of understanding, the Eternal Son is actually the first discernable manifestation of the Father to specifically deified personalities such as we are, and this factor is why the general understanding of him being the Second person of the Trinity holds most true in concept to us as human beings.

In scripture reference, this WORD of God is the single, clearest, and truest manifestation of the Father to the universe of personal beings and is one of the three eternal deities of infinity that is located at the center of the Isle of Paradise, therefore, the Urantia Book classifies these absolute deities as the Paradise Trinity. This phrase The Word is not referring to the emergent design and specifications of the written scriptures nor the implication that scriptures alone equal the internal spiritual revelation of God’s presence in a way that we could not otherwise perceive. Therefore, the Eternal Son as the Eternal Word descends by way of deity sonship his spiritual contact-image presence all the way to our mortal perception as the material presence of God’s son, Jesus the Christ (John 1:12-14). This eternal word as the Eternal Son has its definite spiritual manifestations to all deified personalities throughout the entire universe on all functioning levels and in such manifestation is equally eternal with the Universal Father and the Infinite Spirit.

So now we have the Eternal Son as the manifestation of the Father and the Infinite Spirit to personality essence only. Then we have in a manner of concept, the Isle of Paradise which provides through the expansion of the Infinite Spirit the universal holistic body and mind of the Father. Therefore does the Eternal Son as the Eternal Word manifest in specific the particular reality and nature of what God the Father is to the perceivable personality contacts of the rest of creation. However, the more finite and partial a being is in relation to the Eternal Son, the more levels of spirit and personality descent and partial diversification is required in order to make useful contact to
