ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
I give all due praise to the one God for the precious gift of life and opportunity to right my wrongs through this work of art. Without you, I would have been lost in the dark storm of life a long time ago.
I thank you, most merciful one, for the wonderful women you have placed in my life. The first on the list is my mother, whom I have not always seen eye to eye on several occasions in my past, and she knows that I love you and always appreciate your undying love. I would like the world to know that there is only one Ms. Lillie Wilson, my granny, Ms. Nattie Wilson, who comes second on the list for nourishing me and my siblings in our childhood days with the help of our aunts and uncles; they just don’t build them like you anymore. No matter if I was wrong or right, she has always loved and guided me toward what is right. I thank my older sister Ms. Serena Wilson, who completes this list of special women in my life, for acting not only as a big sister to me, but also as an older brother and even a mother sometimes when our mother was caught up with an illness. She too knows that I love you. Wonderful women, I thank you all for walking on the earth with me.
To the twins and my nieces and nephew, let us remember our duty to the family. I apologize for not being there for your graduation days, first dates, and the times you needed your big brother and uncle as you were growing up. I can’t change the past; I can only be a better person in the present. Know that my love for you all has never wavered. This includes you as well, Lj, my little brother. I haven’t been in your life much, but in due time I hope we can build our bond. I love you all. To the Parks family (they’re too many to name), know that I appreciate and love every single one of you. To the brotherhood in prison, my brothers in particular, thank you for the
