Antonio the Bear

Sydney and her newly acquainted best friend, Antonio the U.S. Naval bear, start to travel to exotic and different places. Sydneys family is in the military and it is difficult for her to form friendships with the constant travel and relocating. As a result, her teddy bear becomes her best friend. Together, she and Antonio look forward to venturing into the unknown, taking pictures, visiting a lot of exciting destinations, and tourist attractions. Sydney and Antonio are excited by the prospect of change, getting new stamps in their passports, trying new foods, meeting new friends, and learning about different cultures.

The story begins with a very special bear named Antonio. He entered into a little girl’s life, on her school trip to the U.S. Navy Museum in Washington, D.C. Sydney, the little girl, passed a bin of teddy bears, and one very special bear winked at her, as she walked by. The gentleman, who was selling the teddy bears, saw Sydney’s interest in this particular teddy bear. He informed her that this teddy bear’s name was Antonio, that he was a U.S. Naval bear, who loved to travel, and was looking for a
