The Story of the Waters: A Theory of the Physics of Genesis
()
About this ebook
the teachings of science almost seem to merge. Faith truly is the substance of things
not seen. Science tries to tell the story of the beginning of the universe and how
everything came to be. Well the Bible tells that story too, but when it comes to looking
back to that very fi rst moment, when there was no singularity the Bible completes that
story. One of the fi rst arguments on this subject is usually how could God have made
all of this in just 7 days when the universe is billions of years old. I believe this is clearly
and simply explained. Because science leaves God out of their equations, they often
get stuck and a new theory is needed. Th ese most often come from the imaginations
of some of the most brilliant minds in physics. Two of the big things that they have
been trying to answer are: Why is the universe expanding at an accelerating rate and is
it caused by dark matter and what is it? What is the force that unifi es all of the forces
of science or, the unifi ed fi eld theory? You will fi nd that the Story of the Waters is an
inspired writing that answers all of these questions and much more.

The Story of the Waters
By Richard Lucas
This book is dedicated to the one who it seems seldom gets
credit for all of the magnificent things that he has done and
continues even to this day, and to his Son who spent time
with us and shared his love and all with us and to the Spirit
of the knowledge of the truth that he shares with all.

The Story of the Waters
A Theory of the Physics of Genesis
The story behind the story
Many years ago I was with another fellow Christian. We used to visit often and many times it seemed that our conversations would lead us back to The Bible in discussion of many different subjects. I remember on one particular occasion the conversation again lead us back into our Bibles. In particular our conversation led us to the first chapter of the first book of The Bible the Book of Genesis. I remember that this study started out pretty good. But as we began to debate how the earth was made from the waters the conversation began to deteriorate and I know for me and I think for my friend the lack of understanding led to an uncomfortable feeling and a fairly abrupt end to the conversation. I am not sure this is true but it seems that women of the Christian faith can read their Bible and accept what they read and not be so concerned with anything that they don’t quite understand. Perhaps this is a more pure faith. But men on the other hand have a thirst or hunger like drive to know just what every word and every statement means. This is not disrespect to women or men I know there is a blend in both directions on that matter, but that is the way it appears to me. Back to my story, anyway for me the subject of chapter one Genesis became one of those topics you just accept and move past and so I did.
My Background
As a young boy I was very curious about how things are put together and how they work and to know, this lead also to the need of knowing how they come apart. My mother bless her heart somehow understood me and kept me supplied with broken or no longer useful, electronics, small appliances, or mechanical devices. My father was a mechanic in the U S air force. He often held a second job to provide for mom, me and my five brothers. I remember when I was around ten he began bringing home very used cars to restore to a state of mechanical soundness and then sale for a profit. It made me very proud the first time he asked me to help. There are just some things that are almost impossible for you to do by yourself like feeding a single wire through a firewall while retrieving the other end under the hood. This, bless my father’s heart began a whole new journey of learning and understanding for me. Probably defines a lot about who I am as a person. As a young adult I did finish high school but did not attend college. I believe that the things that I was taught and learned through my childhood made my entire career seem easy. I am now retired.
Religion
This is a very condensed version of my testimony of salvation through my Lord Jesus Christ. My first and strongest influences were through the love and prayers of my beloved Mother in-law and Father in-law. Their kindness and love to others as I ever saw it was without reproach. Just to know them made you want to have that thing that gave them that glow of pure love. They inspired me to read my bible and understand salvation for myself. As I read I learned about how to understand, you must have faith, so I decided I would do that, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I lived some distance from my in-laws but became a familiar face in another church. That is where I was baptized. It seemed like I became flooded with understanding of different things in my bible almost to the point that some may refer to as fanaticism. Even so I do not believe you can ever get too full of the word of God. My inspiration always brought me back to the nature of Jesus and God the understanding of their love for all that were created. I believe that the result of this is what in just a very few years separated me from attending any church. Maybe this was wrong and maybe it was not that is for God to decide. This is what happened as I learned more
