Greed is pretty much at the root of the world’s problems today. Satan, once a perfect angel, became greedy, desiring to have people worship him instead of God. He got Adam and Eve to follow him instead of the Creator, thus setting himself up as an opposing god (2 Cor. 4:3, 4). His greed ultimately lead to the death of all mankind.
When Adam and Eve were created, they had everything they could possibly want . . . a perfect paradise home, a wonderful relationship with each other and with God and an endless future raising a happy family and together working to turn the whole earth into a paradise like Eden, but they took their wonderful gift of free will and chose, with Satan’s urging, to become greedy and want even things that did not belong to them (Genesis 2:15-17)(Genesis 3:1-7, 17-19). Because of their greed they became disobedient to God and thus Imperfect, so, like a cake pan with a dent in it, every cake you make from that pan, will have the same dent as part of its makeup, so every child that came from Adam and Eve was also imperfect, dented
if you will . . . getting more and more so as the generations passed. With imperfection came sickness and death, and so here we are.
Yes, they are greedy dogs Which never have enough. And they are shepherds Who cannot understand; They all look to their own way, Every one for his own gain, From his own territory. (Isaiah 56:11)

Not My Power to Give
M ay 25, 2008, marked the twentieth anniversary of the mass killings that took place in the little town of Silverstone. Still, to this day, many people sat back and wondered how so many people allowed themselves to be brainwashed by the mastermind. The little town of Silverstone was controlled and run by some of the world’s most heartless people who have ever walked the face of the earth.
As hundreds stood around the memorial, a brick wall ten feet high, some cried as the mayor paid tribute to those who had lost their lives at the hands of Albert Lucerne, a crazed doctor who treated his patients like animals in a test lab and played a role in killing over a hundred innocent souls.
When Albert was asked why he committed those atrocious crimes, he told the authorities that he was trying to find a cure for his daughter’s incurable disease. Only three days after Albert was taken into custody by the authorities, his daughter passed away of a rare unknown disease, never to be revealed, only labeled as Unknown by the medical examiner.
At the end, nobody won; hundreds of lives were lost. Albert didn’t get the chance to see his daughter in her final hours nor was he able to attend her memorial service. He was sentenced to death after a yearlong trial, and what marked the tenth year anniversary of these heinous crimes? He was executed in front of the families. The unknown part of the entire case was, who helped Dr. Albert Lucerne commit these heinous crimes? There was no way he could have done it all by himself. Still, to this day, that part was considered unsolved in what some called the Silverstone Lab Killings case.
It took some time for the people to move on, to regain their peace. For a while, people found it hard to trust one another, but through it all, they found strength to move on. Twenty years later, Silverstone was running strong and was known as one of the fastest growing towns in the South.
With one of the town’s best mayors that ever served and a well-known doctor from New York, they had some of the best to help move Silverstone in the right direction. Nothing stopped them from reaching the top of the success chain. The works of Silverstone were so great that it gained the recognition of the entire state and was known as Florida’s fastest growing town. Silverstone went from a population of 10,000 to 75,000 in a matter of four years. Who could stop them now? They were on a path that was only going up.

Ladder of Success
M ayor Chris Jones, Silverstone’s best mayor yet, had it all: a beautiful wife and two kids, a girl and a boy, Janice and Rayland. It seemed everything Chris touched turned into gold. In his circle of success, he had the best; he had a well-oiled train. It seemed there was nothing they couldn’t do. People flocked to hear Chris talk about how he turned Silverstone into a leading, flourishing town.
Soon after, Chris was starting to be talked about not just around the state but around the country as well. Chris made his big hit on a reputable news station. People all around the country had the chance to see the man who turned little Silverstone, the once known horror town, into something to talk to about, no longer in a bad way but in a great way.
People for some time had marked Silverstone off their list of places to live and raise their kids, but now, with the great reputation regained, people were flocking to the town. Buildings that had sat dormant for years were being remodeled
