The Gift of Music! is a whimsical, poetic style childrens book educating and inspiring about the Gift of Musics power. Each page is filled with playful illustrations of animals playing music with a couple of kids! The end of the book has fun pages to color and activity to find and name instruments and express the Gift of Musics power in their lives, like how they think, feel or what ever comes to mind! This is a great keepsake that they can reflect upon for years to come!

The Gift of Music! is meant to be an educational and encouraging tool to increase resiliency through the power of music.

All proceeds of this book go to the charitable Magdalena Cecilia Prisco irrevocable living trust with a portion of the proceeds going to support education and at-risk youth and families.

Magdalena Cecilia Milner-Prisco

Magdalena’s mission and passion is to "Encourage individuals to overcome life's challenges and obstacles through resiliency and become the best they are capably of being!” Born in New Jersey in 1975 and raised in the Pocono area of Pennsylvania, she resides in Upstate, New York for the past two decades with her husband and three teenage children. She possess over a decade and a half of experience working with diverse population’s as an effective Teacher, Mentor, Counselor, Coach and Victim’s Advocate. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology, concentration in Crisis Intervention and minor in Music, a Masters Degree focus in Health Policy, and is currently in Doctoral studies for her PhD in Human Services. Her dedication to education is recognized in Certificate of Appreciation as a Global Mentor to American Military University, and she is RESPITE Certified from New York State Office of Children & Family Services. She has two decades experience as a Public Speaker, Spokes model and Actress for numerous local and national educational and awareness campaign initiatives. “Maggie” possesses extensive experience utilizing music for resiliency in human development performance, health & well-being, loss, grief & trauma. Her passion for helping others has inspired her to write this children’s book. Over 20 years ago she was an at-risk youth who found music as an inspiration for resiliency that helped her in rising above life’s obstacles and challenges! She enjoys the art’s, music, health, research & writing and is a classically trained soprano vocalist. She has written a screenplay registered with the Screen Writer’s Guild, East and two other books to be published.
