About this ebook

Ladies! How many times in your life have you found yourself in one of these places, whether youre The Woman, The Other Woman, or The Woman of God. John 4:16-18, (KJV) Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. Giving praises to God almighty, the one and only true God, who love never fails. I have found myself in one of these places more than I desired, some of my own choosing, or the choosing of someone else, and it didn't feel good in a couple of these places, especially when I found myself in the place of The Other Woman, not of my choosing the first time. I was being the dutiful wife, working, taking care of home, our daughter, making sure everything in the house was taken care of, last but not least, making love when asked, even when I was tired. I considered myself attractive, nice shape, everything I thought most men wanted in a woman, but Naw! that ain't enough, you have to be slick, and go ruin our family, and put me in a bad place, a place where I want to hurt you, like you hurt me. Now I'm the Other Woman, messing with another woman husband, because I'm hurt and angry, and I don't care about you, nor myself, and I sure don't care about The Other Woman.

But thanks be to the God of glory, who had a better plan for my life. Jeremiah 29:11. Now I'm on my way becoming The Woman Of God.

    Dedication

I want to first dedicate, this book to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and to the Holy Spirit, who put it in me to write this book, when I was coming out of a bad place in my life. Hebrews 11:6, For without Faith, it’s impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. I’m thankful that you didn’t give up on me, especially when I felt like giving up on me. I’m thankful for the Women you used before our time, and the Women, you allowed to be a part of my life now. I dedicate this book to my mom, Shirley, who made the choice to carry me for nine months, inspite of her circumstances, who raised me to be respectful, to be caring of others, to work for what you want. I dedicate this book to my grandmother Ruth, who passed away ten years ago. Our big mamma, who didn’t play the radio, who keep the family grounded and rooted in God with your wisdom. I miss you a lot, and I know you’re keeping Heaven on top of things, LOL! I dedicate my book to my godmother, Shirley Marshall, who passed away two years ago from cancer. You walked the walk of a woman of God, with such elegance, and integrity. Who became a part of my life when I was eleven years old, who filled the void in my life. You also helped me to be the woman God has called us to be. Your memories will forever be with me. I want to dedicate this book to my best friend for life Melody. We have been friends since our teen years, we’ve never had a falling out, nor have we disagreed on anything. You’re the sister I’ve always wanted. You have inspired me more than you’ll ever know. You truly DISPLAY the now WOMAN of God, and congratulations! on being ordained, as Minister. I also, dedicate my book to my one and only daugher, Normara. You are my miracle from God. I refused to give up on having you, inspite of what the doctors, or anyone said. You are my inspiration for what I’m doing. I see the smart and vivacious woman you are becoming. Give up on others, don’t give up on God. I want to leave you a Legacy, that will be with you for life. I want to dedicate my book to my mother-in-law, Mrs. Jackie Johnson, who exemplifies a VIRTUOUS woman. Thank you for being there, and praying for me when things feel apart in my life. You encouraged me to hold on and never give up, no matter what it looked like, because God is able to do anything but fail.

Last but not least, I dedicate my book to my sister Phyllis, nieces, sisters-in-laws, cousins, friends, and all the young ladies at the Post Office Priority Mail, I’m sorry I can’t name you all. I’ve been inspired by you all in some way. Everyone of you are unique in your own way, because God made you that way. You are fearfully, and wonderfully made. Embrace the woman you are becoming and walk in it. Follow the one who created you in His likeness (Jesus), not those who think they created themselves (nay sayers). Love who you are and becoming, and let God use you for His glory, (not mans), The Now Woman of God. I love you all!

Thank you all for being there for me in the time of my trials and tribulations, when I didn’t think I could make it, each one of you where there, praying for me, lifting me up, encouraging or nudging me on. It was preordained by God for such a time as this. May God bless you all, in a very special way.

Proverbs 31:25-31, KJV, Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Love, Gee Smooth, The Now Woman of GOD.

    Colossians 3:18, Wives, be subject

    to your husbands (subordinate and

adapt yourselves to them), as is right

fitting and your proper duty in the Lord.

The Woman, the other Woman, now the Woman of God. I truly believe every woman wants to be loved, and loved by the right man in her life. The one she can call her man. The one she knows she was destined to be with from the beginning of time. Her soulmate, her boo, her BOAZ, you know; the one she feels she can’t live without and knowing he can’t live without her. But somehow life has thrown her a curve ball and now she’s in a place she would have never thought she would be in. An unusual place, whether it’s of her choosing, someone else’s, or maybe Gods choosing. Eve found herself in an unusual place when she listened to the serpent and ate the forbidden fruit, and found herself separated from God, Genesis 3:4, NKJV; And the Lord God said unto the serpent, because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Ruth found herself in an unusual place as well, when she followed her husband to an unknown land, where he died, Ruth 1, and in the end she got her BOAZ by listening to a woman of wisdom, her mother-in-law Na-o’-mi. And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshing-floor. Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor; but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking. Ruth 3, 4:9.

Well, I’m in two of these places at the same time, and it was not of my choosing. I know you’re probably wondering how you can be in two places at the same time. Well, I’m finding out as I’m becoming a Now Woman of God anything can happen. Take this journey with me and you’ll see what I mean. Let’s start by defining what a Woman is: One’s own woman, Independent in judgment or action: She has always been her own woman.

    • (Anthropology & Ethnology) an adult female human being.

    • (Modifier) female or feminine: a woman politician: woman talk.

The woman feminine nature or feelings: babies bring out the woman in her.

    • A female servant or domestic help.

    • A wife, mistress, or girlfriend.

    The little woman one’s wife.

Woman of the streets a prostitute.

I like the definition for number 5, because it really describes the role that we’re all in as a wife, mistress, girlfriend and don’t get offended because I say prostitute as well. At some point and time we’ve all been one and probably still are. We were prostitutes to the world before Christ paid the price for our salvation. Like the story of Hosea and Gomer, (Hosea 3). In his own personal life Hosea experienced an unfaithful wife who loved other men. Likewise, Israel had been an unfaithful bride to her husband, the living God.

Some of us are prostitutes now, because we use our bodies to get what we want, you know I’m right about it, Lol. How about wives when our husbands make us mad, he might have to wait a week, depending on how mad we are, or if we want something from them. We use our God- given talent to get what we want. We’ll say if you get this for me, then I’ll make it worth your night. It’s no different than a prostitute, same for mistresses and girlfriends. Especially the other woman, when she prostitutes another woman’s husband. We all have a price, that will make it worth someone’s night or maybe their life.

1 Corinthians 6:19, KJV. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 Corinthians 7:1-5, KJV, It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

    The word Benevolence means:

    • Disposition to do good, charitable act, or desire to do good to others

    • Love- a strong positive emotion of regard and affection; his love for his work, children or wife need a lot of love.

I’ve been there and done that. When I was there, I just knew I was the one for that person, because I’m a woman. I have what it takes to make him mines. And I’m not just talking sexually; it takes more than that to keep a man. I’m smart, cute, I make my own money, I can cook, clean and I know how to have fun. I’m an all-around woman at least that’s what I thought. Oh yeah I’m something. Then one day I found myself all alone, because he chose to be with someone else. Someone he thought was better otherwise. I’m learning as I travel this road called life towards my destiny, I’m nothing without Jesus; but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, Romans 8:28.

It hasn’t been easy in either place, whether it was of my choosing or God. I say God, because I believe he uses certain circumstances or situations to get our attention; for His plan and purpose to come forth and take us to another level in Him. Jeremiah 29:11-14, NKJV.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.

I believe God is not doing anything TRADITIONALLY anymore, but he’s doing it in an EXTRAORDINARY way, just as he did in one particular young woman.

Mary, mother of Jesus, who God spoke to, and said Hail Mary, thou that art is highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. Luke 1:28, KJV. (MATTHEW 1:18-25). He put her in a situation to be ridicule, by nay Sayers. And Joseph, whom she was, betroth to, when she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit, who didn’t believe her when she told him it was Gods baby. LOL, can you imagine being pregnant and telling your future husband its God baby. He tried to leave her, until God spoke to him in a dream. God used her to bring forth the best gift ever, the savior, the redeemer of the world, JESUS! (Immanuel) means God with us, who’s now seated at the right hand of God. She is the now woman of God and the mother of Jesus, whose name is known throughout history, and from generation to generation. She’s so favored, and she has her own song.

Mary did you know, Did you know the child you delivered, will one day deliver you, Mary did you know when you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God, the blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will rise, Mary did you know, your baby would one day Rule the nations, Mary did you know, the sleeping child is the great I AM....... HALLELUJAH!

How about the Samaritan woman at the well, John 4: 14-18, KJV. Her life was forever changed and she ran to tell some men, to come see a man, the only man who could tell her past and present. Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. I have no husband, the woman said. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said: For thou have had five husbands; and he who thou now hast is not thy husband: in that sadist thou truly. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. V25, The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiahs cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. V26, Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Then he used the prostitute, the harlot, Rahab, who is the mother of BOAZ and the lineage of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is from. She help hide two spies, when God told Joshua to take the land of Jericho, the land he was giving them. Her faith to believe that God would save her and her family, because of the kindness she showed towards them. Joshua 2, KJV.

I remember when I was a young girl and desperately wanting to be in love, and to be loved. I use to daydream what it would be like to fall in love with my prince charming, my Mr. Right, the one who would sweep me off my feet. Love me for me, have lots of babies, and live happily ever after as a family. I didn’t know if my feeling that way came from God, or from watching the fairy tales of Cinderella, Snow White, or my own desires, since there was no love shown in my home, between my parents or siblings. And I’m sure you all had the same feelings as a young girl and you probably still do, if you haven’t met the right one for you yet!

For God said it’s not good for man or woman to be alone. Genesis 2:18. Amos 3:3, (KJV), Can two walk together, except they agreed? Proverbs 18:22, whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtained favor of the Lord.

Unfortunately, it hasn’t happened for me yet, and I say yet, because I’m still believing, God to bring it all to pass, as the now, woman of God. I’ve learned we can call those things forth according to (Romans 4:17), just as Jesus did, for His word is life and death and He cannot and will not fail us, or go back on His word. Psalm 89:34, (KJV), my covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

Thanks for taking this journey with me as I help you see through the eyes God gave me to see through when I was in each one of these places, and His desires for us as, The Woman, the other Woman, and Now the Woman of God!

Genesis 2:21-25, (KJV), And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to
