Words of Inspired Exhortations is a book of encouragement about never giving up. This book was birthed out of all the life challenges I have been through over the years: abandonment, rejection, pain, divorce, hurt in ministry, fear, loneliness, etc. But through it all, I never gave up. God said in Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV), "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." (Reference also Isaiah 40:2831, Joshua 1:89, Philippians 4:13) These scriptures have been strength and hope to and for me over the years. I, Earline, say to you, "Never give up, no matter what you are going through!" God bless you. God loves you, and He is with you. Never give up!

Earline Garrett

Earline Garrett is a native of New York City. She is the proud mother of three adult children and has eight beautiful grandchildren. She accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord of her life in October of 1973. Earline is a preacher and teacher of the Word of God, and she acknowledged her call to preach the Gospel in November 1988. She has been a licensed and ordained minister since October 1992. Earline is gifted in church administration, evangelism, and community outreach and has a rich deposit of talents, including writing and directing Christian plays/skits. Earline is the author of Love Walk: Do Not Allow Your Love to Grow Cold. Her passion is winning souls for the kingdom of God and to edify the body of Christ. Earline’s life mission is to please God in every area of her life, preach and teach the uncompromising Word of God to those who have lost hope, and to encourage the weak and discouraged. Her governing and abiding scripture is found in Joshua 1:8: “This book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt have good success.” Earline is an anointed preacher and teacher who has been called to win souls for the kingdom of God. She has a servant’s heart and has diligently served in various capacities and ministries. She willingly and passionately exercises her gifts for the building of the kingdom of God.

I dedicate this book, Words of Inspired Exhortations, to God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. I believe God used me, a fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage the people who received daily words of encouragement and scriptures from me during 2013 by way of text. I give honor to God, because this book came about due to my obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit to encourage three people. I had no idea encouraging three people would increase to 200 or more people, to encourage and then increase to manifestation of a book.

I therefore dedicate this book to:

Greg Nelson, who was the very first person, for about a month, to receive words of encouragement as well as the prophetic word.

My sister, Doreen Peterson Sanders, and my friend, Diane Keith. They allowed me to pour words of encouragement into their lives during some difficult times they were experiencing.

To the men and women who, at different seasons in my life, past and present, encouraged me in times of discouragement, disappointments, trials and tribulations, through prayer, love, fellowship, financial support, and words of encouragement. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
