Demareon Gipson

DeMareon Gipson is an author, poet, and artist from Vallejo, California. He is a college student with an interest in psychology. He has two associate’s degrees, psychology and social studies, and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree at San Francisco State University. His first-ever completed poetic piece, The Rope, is featured in the Vallejo Rising mural, a collaborative piece between Vallejo artists that is symbolic of a desire for tranquility within the city. The mural is located on the corner of Georgia and Marin Street in the downtown area of Vallejo, California, an area in which he spent a large portion of his childhood. He lives in the Bay Area.
