About this ebook

For anyone who has ever wondered whether they have lived before, the story of Hori,

an Ancient Egyptian priest who lived some 3,500 years ago in Ancient Egypt, at Karnak,

Thebes, is inspiring.

The possibility of reincarnation, of communication beyond the grave in some kind of time travel is riveting enough.

Hori has been Re-Born. Read through his Tales of Long Ago, Pharaohs, Battles, Murders and Intrigue; of Gods Magic and Love.

The purpose of this book aims to dispel any fear the reader may have of 'passing over'

and to allow everyone to take an enlightened approach into 'Past Lives'. as you follow in the footsteps of Hori where Past and Present meet through time.

    Preface

    Fact or Fiction:

    Supernatural or Imagination?

Whatever your views on reincarnation, if you have an interest in history, particularly that of Ancient Egypt, or just enjoy a good read, then this book could be for you.

Follow the life and adventures of Hori, vizier and high priest of Ancient Egypt. Follow his adventures through battle under the command of Tuthmosis III, Pharaoh of Egypt. Learn first hand of his tumultuous experiences during the reign of Hatshepsut, first female Pharaoh of this ancient land.

I first met Ian Richardson twenty years ago when we were both students of Egyptology and have spent time with him amid the highly charged and atmospheric tombs and temples of Ancient Egypt, where you would have to be made of stone not to feel the past, not to see and be part of the spectacular and extravagant rituals performed many hundreds of years ago by the high priests in the service of their gods, not to feel and hear the presence of ancient ghosts busily fulfilling their duties, however mighty or lowly as they strove to maintain that ancient civilization.

In most people, myself included, these feeling amount to nothing more than imagination, triggered by atmosphere and fuelled by knowledge. In others, however, this phenomenon becomes a much deeper experience where those people become part of history, connecting or communicating with the souls of long dead individuals, and as such can recount events and stories in a detail that can only be guessed at by historians.

Whilst I personally can make no claims to having experienced this, nor indeed to having any understanding of this phenomenon, author Ian Richardson possesses the ‘gift’ and has been in communication with Hori for many years. This led Ian to study more deeply the history of Ancient Egypt in order to try and understand and make sense of the ‘inside’ information passed on by Hori, and which forms the basis of this book.

    Whatever your beliefs, read either:

A factual account of history as seen through the eyes of High Priest, Hori, and brought to life by the phenomenon of E.S.P.

    OR

A fictional narrative, cleverly written to absorb you in adventure of ancient times.

Read, enjoy then make up your own mind!!

    About The Author

I was born in Edinburgh in November 1937, and from an early age became interested in the subject of the paranormal.

After my initial encounters with Hori, I studied Ancient Egypt at Oxford as an adult student. I also made a number of visits to Egypt in this modern day and age, following in the footsteps of this ancient priest. With grateful thanks to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford for their introduction to the University of Egypt, I was then granted access to sites not normally available to the general public. Some of my experiences at these sites are recounted toward the back of this book.

I have written three books on ghost stories and haunting back in the 1980’s and have given talks on radio for the BBC and also in the United States on these subjects, including reincarnation and Hori. I have given a lecture on Hori at the Mind, Body and Spirit Show in London, and I have researched and traveled widely throughout the Classical World visiting these ancient sites with specific interests in the Egyptian, Greek and Roman Worlds.

Throughout the writing of Hori, I have been able, with the research, patience, and the help of friends, to retrace footsteps across the bridge of time to show that Hori was indeed a real priest who lived some 3,500 years ago in Ancient Egypt, at Karnak, Thebes.

Yes, I truly believe in the possibility of reincarnation, and the one purpose that I hope
