    About The Author

To my awesome second-grade class of 2015/16 at St. Martha’s Catholic School in Kingwood, Texas. Every morning, I would share a few Bubba Stories with my class. As I listened to and observed their reactions to these stories, they actually motivated ME. I am forever grateful for their love and inspiration. Go Crusaders!

I was born in a red-and-white barn with five other pups. I think my mother looked like a dachshund. Some people call them hot dogs. My father, however, looked like a cocker spaniel. My parents were mutts, just like me.

My first encounter with humans was very confusing. Lots of people were looking at us in our big brown box. I was the cutest one. I looked and felt like a stuffed animal. I have cute little freckles on my nose, and my tan-and-blond fur is so soft.
