Michele lives and works in Brisbane, Australia, with her husband, Tommy. Together they have seven children. Michele has written a children’s series based on her deceased rescue puppy and a separate story about a magical tree. Michele is a Creative Writing Therapist. She has a degree in Counselling, is a Reiki Practitioner and has worked for the Salvation Army as a Telephone Counsellor. She has also achieved the Excellence in Leadership Award during her working life. Michele has recently been to Cambodia on a mission trip. She aims to give 10 percent of the proceeds of all her books to a church-based charity that helps keep children safe from prostitution and trafficking.

Paisley Meets Runjie, the Bunyip
P aisley was with Mistress ’Shell and Master Tommy, visiting Auntie Anne and Uncle Rob’s farm in Bunyip. Auntie Anne now owned the farm, which had once belonged to Nana Apanie.
Nana had loved the water and always played by the waterhole at the bottom of the farm. So she was named Apanie, which means ‘water,’ and her mummy called her a water baby. Nana was the clever medicine woman in the town. Whenever anyone needed help, she was there. Now that Nana had passed on to the big waterhole in the sky, Auntie Anne was in charge of the farm.
