    CHAPTER 1

    NEVER SAY DIE ANDREW

    You attempted to say, Goodbye

But we said no, and went into hysteria

By the time we re-bounced back,

You had said Goodbye from behind.

That was by the early evenings of Friday

Your demise swept over the hinterland

From here like a nursery rhyme, but Gboguns

    Not strong enough a lullaby

To convince your spouse and children

In the house, on why we must all go to bed.

PM, the breezy FMC Asaba, in its inner recesses

    With held its sweet breeze

When by 7:14pm you became a guest at ward 7

And I saw the Angelic bodies sang

And the demonic satellites bit their fingers

    Saying it was wrong.

Gboguns, the elders of celestial council

At this hour of your internment

Sits in judgment over the whole affair

    While we asked questions

But the only answer at every point

Is, for my son, Andrew Onovughe Ohwofasa

Vengeance is mine, just a short while.

    Felicia and the children,

Them that wait on the Lord

    We find no regret.

    Composed and written by

    CHAPTER 2

    THIS IS IT

    Descending the declivity at Umutu

    On your way towards Obiaruku

And to the West of your route.

I shouted, this is it, Ebedei

Oh! Gehena of a bonfire, and my

    Penuriously infested folk in purgatory.

This is it --the foundation of Gehena

And there is it, the platform of purgatory

    Come and see my discovery

Another furnace in Ekpan, Obeji and Sapele.

They constructed the semblance of boulevard

Close to the helipad beside the furnace

And in the makeshift suite and suite

The dregs of the Niger Delta drains out

Their blood for a handful of Dollars.

    Lazarus and the rich man

    Slavery and freedom

    Slaves and slave -- drivers

Purgatory is our land and bliss
