Ministry Beyond the Pulpit: You Are a Minister Wherever You Are……
()
About this ebook
Titles and talents are NOT prerequisites for service. Each believer is uniquely and individually gifted by God and has the capacity and capability to minister to others. Jesus Christ in His mandate to the His followers said go ye; there are no special titles or designations tied to this mandate other that those who believe, Mark 16:14-20. The main objective of this book is to encourage each believer to recognize the platform God has given them to accomplish the Great Commission. This platform may be a career, vocation, business, home environment or department in a church. This platform is what I refer to as your pulpit. Each believer has one. Once you have recognized your pulpit, I discuss how both natural gifts, talents and spiritual gifts can be applied collectively to minister to others. The harvest is still plenteous. Having been already empowered by Jesus, let us join together in gathering the harvest. Go ahead and minister wherever you are!

DEDICATION
I have dedicated this book to my late sister The Bekkie
. Thank you so much for ministering to many and especially to Mom, to us siblings, nephews and nieces. It is the way in which you ministered that left imprints in all of us. We admire your commitment to us in the short time that God allowed you to minister to us. Who can forget your smile and loud laughter? Whiteleaves
To the Church of The Most High God:
Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart. (2 Cor 3: 3). As the Father as sent Me, even so I am sending you. (John 20:21).
INTRODUCTION
Most believers think they need unique gifts… such as those assigned to pastors, deacons, elders, evangelists, prophets or apostles… in order to share the gospel or minister to others. The truth is that ALL believers are appointed as ministers to the world with the main goal of bringing the lost to the saving power of Jesus Christ.
As believers, we do not need special titles, platforms or forums to spread the Gospel. Christ has equipped each believer with every good gift to do His work. Moreover, we also have the guaranteed power, support and guidance of the Holy Spirit to accomplish these tasks. According to (Luke 4:18), each believer is therefore equipped and empowered to bring the Gospel of salvation, deliverance, healing, restoration and restitution to those around us, and to do this within each and every setting.
This book outlines the definition of a believer and its correlation with in ministry. Jesus Christ in His mandate to the His followers said "go ye; there are no special titles or designations tied to this mandate other than
those who believe" (that is, us believers, also called ministers). This clarification gives us the freedom to minister to one another in and outside church. This book also helps curb tendencies to fight for pulpits or strive for church ministerial positions because it outlines the various avenues that can be used to minister effectively outside the walls of the church.
The main objective of this book is to encourage each believer to recognize the platform God has given him or her to accomplish the Great Commission. This platform may be a career, vocation, business, home environment or department in a church. This platform is what I describe as your pulpit
. Each believer has one. Once you have recognized your pulpit, I discuss how natural gifts, talents and spiritual gifts can be applied collectively to minister to others.
Our Lord Jesus Christ gives us the mandate or Great Commission in (Mark 16:14-20……And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…" However, the believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit before venturing into this mandate. The filling of the Spirit happened after the great commission. Jesus breathed on the Disciples in John 20 and they
