About this ebook

In our crazy, hectic modern world, where little children seem to know instinctively how to use iPads and smartphones, I yearn for them to have childhood memories of spending blissful hours exploring and learning from the great outdoors and having simple pleasures, such as collecting eggs with your gran, and mostly allowing little brains to be expanded with imaginary pictures that will last a lifetime.

Author

James Gillingham

The author came to Australia from England as a two-year-old. He spent time on a farm with his grandparents and then moved to a house on a few acres near Melbourne, Victoria. He remembers waking up early one morning and watching a fox for a long time, and that was when his Foxylox adventures were formed. The author and his little sister had a gum tree with a low branch that they played on for hours and called the aeroplane tree. The author is very happy that these early childhood memories have now become poems that his daughter, niece, and friends just love.
